Hyatt Place Philadelphia/King of Prussia provides casual hospitality in a well designed, high tech and contemporary environment. We are located near many Fortune 500 companies and only 30 minutes from Historic Philadelphia.
Double room very spacious. Breakfast was excellent. Pool area a little small and could use a little updating. Closest restaurants were at king of Prussia mall. All of them had 2 hour waits. No other restaurants in the immediate neighborhood. Staff accommodated us by providing delivery menus that saved the evening.
I've stayed here five times over the past two years and I love it, except for the musty smell I've encountered in three of the five rooms I've occupied.
Staff is vey friendly, rooms are nice, comfortable, and clean. I recommend this hotel.
Everyone was very nice and accomodating. I have 2 things that made this review only Good. The first,a room that was given to us was a horrible musky smell! They gave me another room and that was better. The comment that stood out in my head was 'Really, someone else complained that it smelled musky too.' Ok so why would you continue to give it to the next guest. Anyway, the second thing was I thought the king size room was gonna be bigger than it was. But over all I would stay here again, close to everything. oh and the breakfast...what do u expect when its free.
I only stayed for a night, but I was very impressed with the room. It was large enough, and laid out so well that I felt I had two rooms - a bedroom and a living room. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was ok - mostly cold cerals, juice and toast. They did have eggs for an additional charge. I'll go back. The only negative - the bed was a little to soft for me.
Had a great experience here. The room was comfortable and clean. High tech, top end entertainment unit. Make sure you bring your own cables to plug your laptop into the console otherwise you won't be able to take full advantage of this feature without paying for all the on demand extras. Breakfast had a good selection, though I would have liked to see either scrambled eggs or waffles offered in addition to the sausage gravy and biscuits for your choice of a hot breakfast. Overall a good place to stay and getaway.
I used to stay in the previous incarnation of this hotel, when it was a Sleep Inn and I was surprised and pleased at the total upgrade to the building and accommodations. Everything is new, clean and up to date in terms of decor. The bed was unbelievably comfortable. The reception/lobby/bar area was open and inviting and the personnel were professional and friendly. I did not take advantage of the pool or breakfast, but I did overhear other guests who were pleased. I plan to stay here whenever I'm in the area. Great value for your money!!!
Good hotel in a busy area. Very reasonable for the time it was booked
The Hotel was ok, the staff was very helpful and nice, but my room was facing the highway and I could hear it all night. Also, the water in the pool was kind of cold and there was no water in the hot tub. They were still finishing the construction in the front of the hotel. Breakfast was good.
Decor is updated and modern. My king room is large and clean, has a very comfortable bed, couch with pullout bed, desk, large walk-in shower and 46 in. flat screen TV. Very nice room for the money. The front desk staff was very friendly. I travel a lot for business and pleasure and if you're staying in the King of Prussia area, I would suggest staying here.
