We enjoyed how close it was to the restaurants, the big breakfast provided in the morning, how comfortable the room was. We also received coupons for the nearby steak house and pizza joint. Overall was a good stay for the value. The hotel looked better than the rest nearby.
The pool was inside, which is disgustingly humid and nasty. They need windows that can open to the outside to let fresh air inside. The chlorine smell was overwhelming.
Good but smell
We definitely are not the type to complain as the hotel it self and staff were very nice. Our problem was with our room which smelt like mildew.
We do not have much to say about what we liked. We did get some help from the morning desk clerk.
Our first room smelled awful like mildew. The second room we were moved to had green mold on the sheets and on the headboard. We showed the sheets to the night desk clerk (Anne) and she didn't seem concerned. We had to request extra sheets to change the bed at 11:00 at night ourselves. It was so late we didn't want to change rooms again. However, we went to plug in our phone charger behind the night stand and there was mold growing on the back of the nightstand much like what was on the headboard. We had to be moved a third time to get a room that didn't smell or have mold. It appeared as if the room had been flooded and had severe mold/mildew issues and should not have been rented. There was a dehumidifier blowing in the hallway our entire stay which let us know the holtel was aware of this issue. Extremely disappointed that the hotel knowingly rented us these rooms. This was our second stay at this hotel, but we will not be returning!
