Pros: I enjoyed the time in this hotel! The surrounding is so quiet! It was amazing! Nobady disturbed me. The room was clean and comfortable. And the restaurant is unbeliveable! You can choose from a lot dishes and all of them are so tasty! I saw many hotel/motel in Kisvarda but I think this is the best:modern, new built and comfortable not like others.
Cons: This accomodation is a little bit far from railway station. (1,5 km). If you go there by train, you have to walk about 30 minutes.
Pros: Amazing hotel! The best we’ve seen in Hungary. Perfect newly renovated rooms, nice staff. Absolutely nothing to complain about.
Cons: The small remark - we’d be a bit more happy if towels were put in the bathroom, not in the room itself.
Pros: The family room was great. The couch / bed was very comfortable and it was nice to have extra sitting area when we closed it. The washing machine was very useful and the small kitchen very nice for a snack or quick breakfast.
Cons: No napkins or towels in kitchen.
Cons: Need to learn manners. Even if the receptionist doesn’t say hi first - to ignore my greeting that’s too bad. I’m not complaining as I don’t like to but you need to let your staff know that it’s your business and people won’t come if your staff isn’t welcoming! This happened upon check out.
Pros: The shower
Cons: The wellness room not being completed, nothing close by

Pros: Quiet rooms, many toys for children, parking.
Cons: Long check-in.
Pros: Beautiful house, clean, comfortable and spacious rooms. Good Wifi. Pleasant hostess. Quiet.
Cons: No soap or shampoo. No shelf in the shower for soap etc.
Pros: The room looks ok. Nothing special. Good value for the price.
Cons: The host was not nice. We decided to pay $3/day for the breakfast. The breakfast doesn't worth this money: boiled egg and cheap sausages. The last day the host asked us if we really want to have the breakfast! The breakfast that has been already paid. We asked the money back or the breakfast. She went somewhere with unhappy face and brought some boiled eggs and still sausages. That was terrible.
Pros: Quite place, easy to find, welcoming host. There were some small communicative problems because we don't speak Hungarian, but palinka solved them :)
Pros: Very nice host, fully recomended. Very quiet area- nice place to spend time with family and friends.

Pros: The staff was very kind and very flexible. It turns out that there was some kind of mistake during the registration, so we could not get the reserved room. Instead they gave us a suite for somewhat cheaper price, which was amazing. This one had african theme... We also had dinner and breakfast there, and they were quite good.
Cons: The hotel staff was pretty rude when I told them that they should know English as they work in hotel near the country border. They don't know English at all. And don't understand anything the guests may be in need. And they weren't even trying to understand. You can be a tourist but you should know and speak Hungarian from their point of view.
Cons: Very hot in the room.
Pros: Great place

Cons: there was not fridge even though it is in description of room
Pros: Location is close to Ukrainian border
Pros: Near the border. Renovated room. 24h reception.
Cons: In room 106 was very noisy when AC unit outside was working, its right near the window (not related to the AC in the room)

Pros: Loving the design
Pros: bed was comfortable
Cons: My husband and I were hoping for a special few days at Forgach Castle to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary. We were bitterly disappointed. The location is abysmal. A remote ugly little village. When we made the booking, a pop up window told us that the place was almost sold out. When we arrived we were surprised that the castle was almost empty. We seemed to be the only guests. The man who checked us in and showed us around was the only staff member we saw. He showed us around and we saw the bars were empty and closed. The indoor pool was pretty. The outdoor pool was overlooked by an ugly industrial water tower. We wanted a glass of wine. No. Only by the bottle. The dining room was empty apart from one couple. The man was wearing an undershirt and making so much noise - slurping and grunting - that we didn’t want to stay. Anyway the restaurant was open until only 9pm. There was a power cut in the morning so it wasn’t possible to see at all in the bathroom which was dark and had no window. There was no breakfast whatsoever - not even a cup of coffee or tea . What bad value! The carpet was ugly and used. The furniture was all fake and cheap. We simply could not believe all the reviews because this place is obviously not used to receiving guests.
