Very polite and friendly hotel staff, especially with kids. The Lagoon Family room was spacious enough to accommodate us (king size bed) with our two kids on separate divans and well situated in the resort (short walking distance from beach, pool, kids club, restaurant). A special lunch (free of charge) was available for the kids. Breakfast at the Lagoon Terrace was above average (e.g. waffles and pancakes well baked and omelet/eggs prepared in a cleaned pan each time). The fresh spiny lobsters grilled during the Sea Food Market event were delicious (but expensive). When parents paid for buffet dinner at the Lagoon Terrace, kids eat for free. The beach is small but nice and kept clean, with some shadows. The main pool was very clean. Cleanliness of the room (curtains, tiles, cupboards) and in the restaurants (especially the seats) was really poor. Efficiency of the staff was generally on the low side : solving basic issues (phone not working, newspaper not delivered, ...) took days, service at the Lagoon Terrace (buffet) was slow (used plates accumulate on table, waiting for coffee/tea during breakfast was often too long). The show during the Fire Dancers evening was just as bad as expensive (a similar show in the neighboring resort Gekko was definitively better and free of charge) and the Fijian buffet experience during the Firewalking show was disappointing (Lovo that tasted like if cooked in a conventional oven). The friendliness, meals and beautiful weather The room smelt a bit mouldy on arrival so I left the doors open every day and it made it smell better. It also could have been better catered for, for adults with teenagers/young adults as I needed to book 3 room as we are a family of six.
The location is great - picture perfect The resort was nice, but it was quite expensive for any food and drink. I stayed at another resort earlier in the week and the extra star at the Shangri-La meant the price of food almost doubled.
My first experience to Fiji was terrific thanks to the Warwick Resort and Spa. The view and service was A+. The Fijian people were so welcoming and kind. The food was also outstanding. I would most definitely recommend purchasing the all inclusive package. It will help you save a lot of money in the end because the food and activities can be a little pricey if you do not. My highest recommendation would be to experience the Scuba Diving that the resort offers through South Pacific Adventure Diver's. I have never expereinced anything so wonderful. The reef's and tropical life were beautiful. The most exciting dive was the Shark Dive. I woud not dive with anyone else! The Warwick was an amazing experience!
Fiji is the most amazingly beautiful place I will probably ever go. I went with a student ambassador group and it was amazing. I definitely didn't want to leave and I'm definitely going back when I get the chance. Totally worth it!
great for families, couples and singles, action packed with activies, cultural experiences and comfort. Food great, lots of variety. Staff great, fun, courteous and make diffierence of a good holiday and a great holiday. highly recommended
Definetly would recommend this resort...staff, food, service, accomidations were all high quality. The taxi ride to and from the Airport were not so nice and we had to pay to use the gym...those were the only two negatives. Would highly recommend the Whitewater Rafting!
We went Fiji to celebrate our 20th anniversity. The Warwick was wonderful. The staff was great and helpful. The all inclusive is the way to go. Saved lots of money. The Wicked Walu restaurant have the best food and service. We took a river trip to the Namuamua inland tour and had lots of fun.
it is the most beautiful place i've ever been
The Warwick was sensational, we had the best time and will be going back. The people are extremely friendly and fun. We went with a large group but found the resort big enough to still have time to ourselves. We will be going back with our children and strongly reccomend that if you have the chance to go to Fiji that the Warwick is the place to go
I traveled as a leader with a Student Ambassador group. This was the most outstanding place we stayed. The staff was exceptional. The entire Warwick experience greatly influenced my decision to move to Fiji.
My vaction was one of the best ever! I had so much fun but thats not all it was the most beautiful thing i have ever seen. The water was fatabalous and guess what me and my (future Husband) got married there and now we can't forget how great our trip. The pools were amazing and i was thankful i could go to it. The staff was good and so was the food and everyone was friendly! If you dont like it you must be CRAZY!
My stay at Mango Bay Resort was absolutely wonderful. The Resort is very clean and nice. All employees (as well as the owners) are extremely friendly and very open to communication. Pool and beach are good. The complimentary activities that are offered are absolutely worth it and give a nice insight into Fiji's culture. The food was absolutely marvelous, fresh fish each day. Prices are good. Definitely worth a trip!
Absolutely loved this place. 4 months in Fiji and spent 2 of them here. Countless outdoor activities. My friends had reservations about the 'flashpacker' identity as it would be expensive. I found absolutely the opposite. Wonderful food, wine and diving every day and paid practically nothing. Kind staff also offered a huge discount on my last two weeks there, and I didn't even ask them to. Amazing sunsets, comfortable rooms, everybody having fun. You will love this place, whether you're alone or with friends, want to relax or get involved. One of the best hostels in the world for sure.
