7.5 Good
Pros: Flemish chic feeling.
Cons: The room is located next to the breakfast area. In the morning, from your bed, you can clearly hear guest’s conversations which is really annoying. Acoustic isolation is very bad. So, if you are sensible to noise...

Pros: Nadine and Claude were so helpful and welcoming hosts. Quiet location and comfortable beds made for a good night's sleep. The breakfast was an excellent mix of fresh fruit, yogurt, rolls and a platter of cold meats and cheeses.
Cons: There was nothing we didn't like. A microwave in the kitchen would have been useful for us, but the hosts were happy to heat anything up we needed.

Pros: Very friendly and helpful host, charming building and room with 5* hotel bathroom. Really nice place, great location.

Pros: Was well situated close to train station and owner was very obliging and friendly.

Pros: Everything, location, host, accommodation wad perfect.
Cons: There was nothing to dislike
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable, clean, and quiet B&B in the north part of the old town and a block away from the riverwalk. Chances are you will hear church bells late in the morning, but so will everybody else in town. The rooms have been nicely decorated with local style and character. Linda is the caretaker and she is very kind and accommodating to ensure you have a comfortable stay from the moment you arrive until departure, and breakfast every morning waiting for you. There was ample communication in the beginning to let me know about the room readiness and how to enter the premises, for which I am thankful.
Cons: You are let know in advance that payment is accepted in cash. This was no issue for me, but I am pointing this out in case you might feel uncomfortable carrying cash or withdrawing money from an ATM for the lodging payment. Keeping this in mind, I was in any case very satisfied by my stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful interior design and an extremely comfortable room, there was also an excellent and varied breakfast. Our host, Linda, was very friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. 9.2 Excellent
Pros: A quiet location, with free parking. The staff were friendly and wanted to accommodate your own requirements. The food was freshly prepared and cooked with very good portions.
Cons: The rooms consist of 6 large apartments located at the back of the bar/restaurant area and while this is a quiet location the insulation between the apartments is poor. I was lucky during my stay as the other guests were quiet, but this could be an issue.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: ...about 10 steps from parked car to room /apartment! Very nice evening meal, freshly prepared by very attentive chef /proprietor; superb breakfast!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly landlord, nice and very comfortable room, very clean. Great stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We liked the rural location, which we chose over central Kortrijk (we were there for a musical event in Harelbeke, which has *no hotels!). Quiet, clean, uncrowded, peaceful, in the beautiful farm country, where we got a long walk among the fields and farms one morning, and also visited the small Centrum. The room was nice, just big enough, the bed comfortable, the bathroom nice, including the skylight. The food at the little restaurant was great! We really loved the breakfasts, varied and generous, good coffee, and our host, Guido, was the soul of hospitality, like a true Host from a bygone era, an interesting man with ready conversation and very good English! He filled us in on a lot of local lore and the story of his Inn, and took an interest in the Harelbeke musical competition we were participating in. And he picked us up at the train station when we arrived. Dinner was generous Belgian portions and delicious, with fresh (local?) mussels and sole in (much) butter and perfectly cooked vegetables. Room cleaning was good and prompt, and there was (apparently gratis) beer in the fridge!
Cons: Local roosters woke us up at 4:30 AM every day (not the Inn's fault, of course), and kept it up for an hour. On top of jet lag. The bathroom sliding door is frosted glass, which means any light in there at night leaks into the bedroom if we got up to use the bathroom in the night. Not a big problem, but easy to put a light-covering over the glass for night use. The fridge could have been cleaner, and the instant coffee needed to be replenished for super-early mornings.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Rustic style rooms not to everyone’s taste but comfortable and everything worked fine. If you want a glass and chrome bed box this is not for you. We even had a cassette player in our room (don’t forget to bring your cassettes)! The family are brilliant and the owner takes huge pride in his cooking (with good reason) so the little restaurant is highly recommended. Hotel is in a residential area so very quiet and locals are there for a drink (and a dance in one case). Thank you for looking after us so well.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The food at the hotel was fantastic. Very friendly owner and staff excellent.
Cons: We liked everything

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The entire experience from the bootel bar and staff to the cleanliness of the room was fantastic. I am already planning another trip and will definitely be a return guest. The hotel owner was tending bar and is quite a beer aficionado! I really enjoyed the selection of beers available, the bar pizza made to order was excellent! I was very impressed with how clean the entire boat was from bar to room and even the halls, all were spotless! Enjoyed sitting and talking with fellow guests including a wine maker from France! This is a fun place to stay and a great break from boring standard hotels. It is truly an experience to remember.
7.9 Good
Pros: The location is realy tops.An adventure too..you re on a boat!Staff were helpfull too!
Cons: There was no coffeemaking facility, and the bednight tables were tricky, with big round holes, making it impossible to put smaller items on.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful place and very nice people. I enjoyed every morning, having a breakfast with a view to the river.
7.0 Good
Pros: Location is the best facility the place offers. Very central and in walking distance to town center. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Captain Stefan is the best for sure. Don't get shocked when you start to shake in your bed at 5 in the morning as other ships pass by, if you're not used to sleep onboard, it will definitely be a different experience. Overall, it worth to try if you need a quick stopover in town.
Cons: It is definitely NOT baby/children-friendly, if you need to stay with your little ones, find safer place. Parking lot in the front is free only on Sundays, even on that occasion hard to find a space, you may need to walk with your luggages from 1-2 paralled streets in distances.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: sleeping on a boat was a very nice adventure. Stefan, the captain gave some good and helpful hints for my stay. the boat was very easy to find and is central in Kortrijk between football-ground and station.
Cons: i should have more time than only 2 nights for a longer stay at the boat.
6.7 Good
Pros: Great hosts and far from the usual hotel. Staying on a boat different to say the least. pro's and cons but worth it for the experience
Cons: Boat window in your room can not open. boat roams are tiny. Tall people will feel cramped Bedding was unfresh and everything is basic and a bit worn out. it just feels a bit unclean

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and helpful host, charming building and room with 5* hotel bathroom. Really nice place, great location.
Cons: Little bit too noisy at night from corridor, room door not sound insulated enough. Wake me up every time someone walk in to the building, or going up and down on the stairs.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Was well situated close to train station and owner was very obliging and friendly.
Cons: The room we had faced the street (called OYO I think) and was v big. In the night I was awakened by loud music from the street - eventually it went away but it took me ages to go back to sleep.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, beautiful building and decor. Huge room and bathroom. Incredibly friendly and helpful host.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Close to town but with parking. Nicely renovated old building
Cons: Breakfast was optional. Decided against it at 30 Euros for two people.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: +Convenient location, about 5mins walk from the rear of the train station. +Tastefully minimalist room design, blending aesthetics with functionality such as incorporating many hooks and nooks where you can hang or place your belongings. +Breakfast, which was available for a top-up fee, could be made to dietary preference (I had the vegan version) and it was beautifully presented and included various items. +Oliver was responsive to queries before and during the stay.

6.7 Good
Pros: The decor was quite nice.
Cons: The staff were odd no one welcomed us, or gave us any information. We weren’t told the doors would be locked when we returned at midnight. No food available when we arrived at 2pm as the kitchen was closed until 5pm. I’d emailed in advance to say I’m coeliac and need gluten free food. None available although I’d been told there would be bread at breakfast. This wasn’t the case. Paper cups in the room for coffee, which we had to ask for! Only one water glass for an occupancy of 2. Won’t be back. Disappointed.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast is very good, a very good selection The Wellness area is very good and always clean Jules bar is excellent for dining or just a drink
7.0 Good
Pros: The Spa and Wellness Avenue are great so as the location of the hotel. The staff was very kind too.
Cons: We stayed in the North Wing room which doesn't have a proper ventilation system as it was a solarium before. Using the shower makes the room extremely wet which is not healthy. The ventilation is missing from the toilet as well.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Check in was a breeze and the rooms are clean, comfortable and well lit. It's nice that the delicious breakfast buffet is included in the room rates. I'd suggest having breakfast before 9 am as it gets very crowded after that, since every guest has access to the buffet. The spa facilities looked really nice, but unfortunately we didn't have the time to check that out due to a busy schedule. There is underground parking nearby (P Schouwburg, 2 min walk) and you're pretty close to pretty much everything in Kortrijk.
Cons: The rooms were a bit smaller than expected, so I'm not sure if it's worth paying extra for the bigger room unless you absolutely need/want the queen size bed instead of the european sized double bed, since the smaller rooms also come with spa access and the breakfast buffet. We had a corner room, so when you enter the room there's a little "hallway" that takes away a lot of usable space. Also, I don't really get why it takes so long to cancel the hold on the credit card. Most companies cancel the hold after 3-5 work days, but as of now, the hold is still on the card. It's not really a big issue but it would be a nice gesture to cancel the hold after housekeeping confirms that nothing has been taken from the minibar.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: see sum up.
Cons: It is a shame there is wall to wall carpet in the rooms - many people suffer allergies and it is the worst possible item to have in a room as it gathers dust and not that easy to clean.
8.0 Excellent
Cons: Air con in room not working
1.0 Poor
Cons: I normally never write such comments but I need to share the awful experience I had at the Damier Hotel: I arrived on a Sunday evening at this hotel and since I was not sure if I am allowed to park in the street next to the hotel, I explicitly asked the receptionist. She told me that it was fine indeed and I believed her as she obviously should know. On the Monday morning, my car was gone ! It had been towed away because of the weekly market ! Hotel didn't want to take any responsibility for what they had told me, I had to cancel my meeting and to pay a fine of 260 euros ! I then called the hotel to try to find a compromise but they told me that it is my responsibility where I park the car... I agree that it is my responsibility where I park my car, but they are the ones who told me that it was fine to park in that street... Actually receptionist was a trainee and just didn't know... When I insisted and asked if they really think I should bear responsibility for the fact that they don't provide the right information to their trainees, they hang up on me ! I am totally shocked...
