Overall the sunrise reading a book in the balcony. Food was ok as well. Perfect for non local people (is not my case). Surprisingly enough only two people in reception could speak spanish, so I had to ask for a couple of things in english.
The swimming pool overlooking the sea is beautiful.
Relaxing with all we were looking for in a chill out 1 week school week holiday. Lunch (snack) menu was perhaps lacking and reception bar service a bit slow/ under staffed at times.
The location was fantastic. The food was excellent. The staff were friendly. There is nothing we did not like
we like the beautiful seaviews and the walk out of the hotel onto the cliffwalk
Arcitecture is interesting, large rooms with comfortable beds. Pools were great! Did not use spa, but it looked good too. Lots of choices for breakfast, food was average. Not a brand new hotel any more but not run down. Activities throught the day for all ages. I think I would have loved the kids area if I still was one. This is an amazing hotel for the discounted price. Not sure the value is there if you would be paying the full price of 400 euros/night.
Well located / rooms good / good variety of food / excellent views / good facilities. Lift service at times was poor / difficult to work out / service at desk was difficult because of language / communication. No clear direction how to access the town centre via lifts. Some of the entertainment was of a very poor standard.
Very clean with agreeable clientele. Breakfast was good and staff were helpful and friendly. The evening meal was not very good and at e25 was poor value. The hotel did not have an A La Carte restaurant
Food was relatively poor
We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Coridal. The staff were amazing they helped in everyway possible to make our stay a very enjoyable one. The standard of the adult entertainment shows at night could be improved and more varied as many of the quests found they were better off going to Puerto Rico for nightly entertainment.
About 99% of the staff were excellent one guy the first day we arrived was obnoxious Every meal was buffet style meaning food was luke warm most of the time and overcooked. The layout of the dining room was confusing and it was difficult seeing all on offer. For a hotel of this class the food was not good. Had I realised it was all buffets i would only have done bed and breakfast and would advise anyone else to do the same. The evening entertainment was dire and drinks expensive. For a hotel of this class I would not have expected
The situation is excellent, the hotel is spotless and well maintained with beautiful gardens and pool, and activities if you wish to join in. Staff charming and very helpful. Nice stroll to the beach and the beautiful port. Perfect for our weekend of relaxation.
Location and atmosphere. Dinner buffet wasn't that great. If you want beverages at dinner you are required to purchase them.
The facilities available and the friendliness and helpfulness of all the Staff
No information about hiking and quality wine. Language problems.
The staff, cleanliness and facilities were excellent. My family and I went for a week's break in the sum and were made very welcome by the hotel. The breakfast was excellent and the rooms very clean. We would definitely return to this hotel. No
The garden was great and the architecture of the hotel and its facilities were fascinating. The activity i.e. swimming facilities was very good! Service of the staff was excellent. The meals were tasty and there was something for every taste. Also for vegetarians .. shich is essential for this customer The nordic walking activity could have professional guiding with some history of the island . or the island's geography - to be talked about during the tour. The nordic walking tour might have been more interesting with these points ind´cluded
Location to beaches and harbour. Gardens and interior plus pool areas first class. Breakfast great selection and good quality. Beds not comfortable. For a 4* hotel we expected free drinking water, bathroom robes and slippers. No information in our room about the hotel, television, or where to go. €200 per night way too expensive. We had a problem with a meal in the pool restaurant where we were charged €12.50 per person for the buffet at 3.15pm and then to find they were closing at 3.30. We had to rush to get food (only soup and salad left), we complained at the hotel reception and got the mean sum of €2.50 discount each, very badly handled hence no recommendation to stay there.
The excellent standard in all areas. Our 2nd visit and we will be back.D.V. The fact that some people put towels on poolside chairs early in the day and then didn't show up for hours.1 and a half hour limit should apply. Then staff should remove towels.
The hotel location, rooms, pool and overall cleanliness was as promised in the online description of the Marins Suites. I could not fault it. The evening entertainment was poor and the choice of food from the snack bar during the day was limited.
The swiming pool is great. I had no problem in finding free sunbeds Swiming pool bar closing at 6 pm, I found it a bit too early.
The Pool area is lovey - very relaxing as its right by the sea. Would be great if it was extended as can be hard to get a sunbed when the hotel is busy. The view over the Marina was fantastic (day and night).
A very good swimming pool near the ocean; spacious rooms; good breakfast not enough chairs at the swimming pool and they were always reservated ( contrary to the house rules); noise in the stairways during the night
Spacious suite, kept clean. Lovely infinity pool by the ocean. For the price the hotel staff could have been more helpful. Too many extra charges for the room safe and parking especially. Too many people using the pool and though there was a policy of not being allowed to reserve sunbeds with towels most 'were covered by sunrise!
We are a family of 4 and our room was more than big enough for us all. Pictures of the hotel are right on. There is entertainment scheduled nightly but we found it a bit late at 9:30 with two young children. Also the hotel has a small game room located off the lobby. The pool is the best part as it overlooks the ocean and we were able to see the boats passing as we swam. We had half board and the selection was great for both breakfast and dinner. Be aware that drinks are not included in the cost for dinner. There is a grocery store about 5-10 minutes from the hotel and since you are near the marina, it was easy to access the ferry to get to the other beaches as well as schedule dolphin trips, fishing trips and other excursions. It would have been nice to have an iron in the room already instead of having to call and request one. Also, while there is a small kitchenette, there was no dish soap to wash the plates. I think the hotel should supply that instead of having to buy yourself. It was missing a few basic amenities that I am used to having even with low budget hotels. Also, it's true that people reserve sunbeds with their towels by early morning. Staff does nothing about it. If you plan on eating breakfast at the hotel, I suggest getting there before 10am. After that, there is long lines for coffee and eggs.
The fact that the room was cleaned and fresh towels given everyday. The breakfast was horrible and expensive for what you were given. Poolside bar staff were not that friendly.
excellent food! good location! wonderful view! nice price at dinner in the restaurant for drinks. I think Marina suites is one of the best hotel in Puerto Rico!! If you don't like kids-I would not recommend to stay there, because there were plenty of kids who all the time scream, jump into the pool and shout. And not possible to swim in pool-because it is full of kids... Kids there were a big problem in my opinion- all the guests are families with older or younger children. And big problem was pool area-from early morning people reserved their sun beds (even the hotel said that it is taboo) at the pool-so after the breakfast you don't have place to sit and take sunbaths. I think hotel must do something in this area!!!
My favourite thing about the Marinas Suites is that I could get away from the noise of the swimming pool by finding a bed in the area of the jacuzzi, the cabana style sunbeds were great when it got too hot to sunbath. I spent a week in the Marinas Suites and it was the most enjoyable week I have had in a long time, I had two teenagers with me who also had a great time, we would definitely return. The only problem I had was the waiters were too quick to take away our plates when we were dining and the cleaners although excellent came far too erly in the morning @ 9.00am - this is a holiday and I do like to have a lie in and even though I put the Do Not Disturb sign out they still knocked. Once the cleaners were in the next room the moving of the beds would wake me up anyway.
Mostly everything, and the very nice staff more staff with more english knowledge
Hotel staff was extremely professional and nice. The hotel was impeccably clean and comfortable. The hotel had excellent pool, jacuzzi, and spa facilities. Everything was absolutely excellent.
Excellent facilities, spacious rooms, well run restaurant. Poor staff on reception, not very competent nor well dressed for a hotel of this standard. Reception area lacked atmosphere.
The food was fantastic always too much to choose from! Cava at breakfast time. The infinity pool was well designed. The rooms were spacious and the bathroom too. We were advised at arrival that there was a dress code for the restaurant, we followed those instructions but the dress code was not enforced by the hotel as other guests wore flip flops and shortd in the dining room. Swimming pool opening times were late many people like to swim before breakfast or use the Thellasso pool. Many guest left towels on sun loungers all day when they were not even at the poolside.
staff was very nice and helpful Didn't have queen or king size beds. Had to fasten 2 beds together.
Overlooks beautiful Amadores beach which I perferred to neighbouring Puerto Rico one. Most rooms have a decent balcony with comfy quality chairs + table. Room (mine was 4412b) was nicely decored, air- conditioned, with bathroom marbled and both shower+bath included. Two pools, the main one out front having nice effect of almost appearing to drop off over the edge. Spa facility, hairdressers, manicurist, some gym equipment, spacious all glass fronted dining room with view of beach and ocean, and also an a la carte restaurant. Staff are friendly and quite a number had good english. There's also a pool table, table tennis, table football etc and a room to entertain youngsters. Worth going half-board. Clientel type during my stay seemed almost totally couples or families, so dont expect to meet many singles by the pool or bar. It lacked a bit of evening atmosphere / entertainment (even though they provided some, audience-wise it was very thin and bit dead), so you will want to head out in Puerto Rico - taxi costs bout €3.50 each way.
hotel is absolutley brilliant, main swimming pool looks amaizing but food was a thing which we liked the most everything was ok
Nice rooms, pool and location to beach Long walk to main resort
Excellent hotel with great views of the Amadores beach and the ocean. Very nice breakfast. Very friendly staff.
Fabulous swimming pool and close to the beach It could be a bit noisy at night
View!!!!!! Pool!!!!!!!!!!!! Room, spa, service, location are also good Slow bar service, quality of cocktails in all-inclusive is very poor, room: very cold marble floor and slippers are not provided and no bidet in bathrooms
The restaurant facilities and pool area were excellent and the cleanliness and maintenance was second to none. Couples with young babies all deposited their soiled nappies/diapers into the poolside waste bins which is neither hygienic or pleasant, the hotel should put up a sign to request guests not to do this.
location, silent location, close to beach, centrum playa des ingles, good for single, double or families. Too many germans
nice breakfast and dinner room are good.senior hotel near beach and from the night life could be cheaper
The hotel reception staff were very helpful The lift door sensors are inadequate, and could close on you as they did on me , causing the largest bruising on my arms my nurse had never seen .
Everything was fine. I hope some day in the future I'll spend another perfect week in this place. Some key people don't understand English well, though they try to do their best to help you.
the hotel reception staff were very helpful The food was terrible
Very friendly staff, amazingly good location close to the beach, kitchen was useful and good food in restaurant.
The staff was very helpful, were all fluent in English and German, very smiley and always trying to improve their services. A great "customer services" behaviour. The food was quite repetitive, similar dishes during the dinner ... still, there was always a meat, fish and vegetarian dish. Since I was pregnant, I was very careful with the food but I must say that it was good and had no problems. I did not like that drinks have to be paid extra during dinner.
View and location Service was rather cold and off hand not what i expect at that level of hotel. Also Spa and pool were closed which i was not made aware off when booking so as a family very disappointed!
The view from the room, the balcony furniture with fleecy rugs for sitting above the clouds was amazing after a day of driving the zig zag roads. the cafe/restaraunt staff were very helpfull and attentive to the kids, and the standard of food excelent. The swiming pool shown in the photo's is not available unless you use the spa which is out of bounds for kids at all times. I had read reviews about it being closed so checked on paradors website, trip advisor and hotels website and there was no mention of this. This was the main reason we had booked.
Excellent location for walks in the mountains and visiting the interior of Gran Canaria.
The view from the balcony towards the setting sun was beautiful. The hotel offered what they promised in this regard. It was quite expensive.
the view from our room was breathtaking, the ambiance was relaxing, and the food was fantastic.
This parador is located in the centre of the island with magnificent views of the mountains and easy access to walks and the very special Roque Nublo. I was amazed to get a twin room for 60 euros. Breakfast was extra at 15 euros each but very special. There could not be anything to dislike at this hotel.
The location of the Parador up in the mountains is excellent with stunning views from the bedrooms (Mount Teide on Tenerife can be seen on a clear day). The bedroom accommodation, lounges, & main areas are of the usual high standard found in Paradors (this one has only recently been opened/renovated). We thought the price of the Spa/indoor pool etc at over 30 euros each person was excessive otherwise we would have used it more. It's a pity there is no outdoor pool.
Fantastic iews from our room and balcony. Staff not very friendly. No lighting for inside the wardrobe/lobby.
clean new hotel with stunning views and very friendly staff; the reception staff speaks either english or german as a foreign language; Arrive early to enjoy the afternoon sun on the terrace looking at the great mountain scenery! only buffet breakfast is offered
we particularly appreciated the large terrace with sunbeds & umbrella. The rooms were quite well equipped (with toaster, water warmer, fridge, airblower..). The temperature of the shower water in the bathroom was perfectly stable at ideal temperature. The animation was good but limited to a single animator. The food was good. All (except 1) of the staff was very friendly. The outside lift showed some technical problems. There were 650 stairs to the beach. We would have preferred more animators.
Due to location on top of hill, splendid view and early morning sun (room on floor level 3000). Apartment roms as expected, - normal good standard and clean. Shower/bathroom rather small. Half board very satisfactory, good breakfast buffet and a varied and tasty dinner buffet. Great pool areas (one heated by solar energy). sufficient number of sunbeds. Clean. (stayed at the hotel for 2 nights) Coffemachines closed and coffe impossible to order at dinner due to hotels policy. (waitress info)
view was excellent
Nice huge terrace in front of the apartment with great overview of the city. Nice and quiet surroundings. You can relax and enjoy the sun at the terrace. Nice and friendly staff in the reception. Free internal phone system. Avoid spending any money on the restaurant. The food is of a very low/bad/tasteless/cheap quality. The restaurant staff didn't seem to care about the guests. The plates were very greasy and dirty like they did not use soap in the dishwasher. In the room the shower, kettle and toaster was broken. We had to pay 2 Euros to borrow an extra key for the room. The price of the apartment is a bit too high compared to the standard.
Large balcony with sunbeds and free Wireless Internet Access Very noisy cleaners in the morning. The wireless connection could with little effort made accessible from other areas than just reception area (f.ex from the balconies)
Nice view,Riosol was clean and not to far to walk down to the marina. The Riosol was overall well maintained and any problems were dealt with quickly. Rooms having no air conditioning was a big draw back. Did not get a decent nights sleep due to heat.
The views over the ocean were the best i have ever seen!
Facilities and friendly nature
Having breakfast each morning on the balcony with a fantastic view of Puerto Rico and its harbour. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms and facilties were very good. We enjoyed our stay here and will certainly return.
Late check out times were not adhered too. I was interupted at 1oclock then again at 2, I had booked to check out at half two. the maids even came into my apartment whilst I was getting dressed. not acceptable at all......
Great views Slowest lift ever encountered
The cleaning staff done a very good job when cleaning the room and the welcome package at the start of the holiday was a great idea The ants that were all over the sink and cooker every day
Wonderful place and staff. No wine or champagne glasses at the apartment. Very rude of personnell (front office manager?) to speak spanish before me when I asked if we could stay until 1 pm, when we all spoke english before - that you do not do. I am a front office manager myself and I was chocked!
The wonderful, heated pool - excellent! The nice poolarea. The elevator must be equipped with a openable rooftop to let some air in. Too hot in the elevator! The restaurant - change the lightning in the roof for a nicer atmosphere.
the baloncy was a great size apartment was nice and very clean. i think that an apartment should be a avalible to rent for the day when people are on late flight that evening its to long sitting around the aera waiting to go to yhe airport........................i wouldbe grateful if you could reply to this a.s.a.p........
You had everything at your own appartment to relax and enjoy the rest without having to go near the pool complex
Staff were very helpful and friendly Building/renovation work going on in apartment next door which meant we had to change mid week. I think if this type of work is going on - the apartments in the vicinity should not be used - removing a tiled floor with a numatic drill is not a good experience to hear. Music around the pool area was very loud
we like the space of the balconey...and the cleaness of the rooms.we also loved the location... that we couldnt get a apartment to rent for the day...... we were leaving ..because we were on a late flight........ we had to leave the apartment at 12 noon..............
The apartment and the facilities provided within the apartment were excellent, above average, and great value for money. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the location is very good. We were very comfortable there, and will definitely go back in the new year. We often go over to Gran Canaria for a three/four night break and Bahia Blanca is ideal for this purpose as they are flexible and accommodating. Facilities in the complex generally are adequate and very good value for money. No complaints
Facilities were good, views and situation along with staff were good and very helpful. Initial room was very poor with no view but asked and recieved a better room. Food was adequate but presentation could be improved.
The views from the restaurant and teeaces and rooms were excellent. The on-site recreation facities were good and the activitie co-ordinator, Adam, was enthustastic, and friendly but not pushy. Rooms were noisy. Some doors and windows were showing signs of age.
it was very central,,
location and cost bit noisey particularly at night
we stay at the apt all the time and this was out 6th visit there we will be back soon
the apartments was quite at nite if you wanted a quite night.and was only a couple off steps down to the town the location
The apt. itself was very spacious and we had an amazingly huge balcony. Our room was cleaned and fresh towels put in every second day. The hotel staff were so very helpfull and nothing was a problem for them. N/A
Good location related to city center. You can reach shopping/eating center within 10 minutes work from the hotel. But be ready to walk up/and down hill some 200 steps. Despite hotel notice "public parking" you can easily park car near the hotel. Beach is 25 minutes walk from the hotel so you have to be in a good shape. Generally speaking the hotel is worth of money. The price is good. The only problem for this hotel (and for the most hotels in the city center) is that discotec muskic is till about 5:00 in the night. So if you sleep not so well or don't like night life this might be a problem for you. Besides that do not expect luxury bathroom for this price.
