Incredibly hospitable. This is really a diamond in the rough. I will be recommending this hotel to all my friends who visit Piedmont regularly.
This hotel is a must. It's homely and modern at the same time and they are extremely friendly and helpful.
Charming little hotel located in a lovely hilltop town of La Morra. Bruno and the rest of the staff were really friendly and extremely helpful with recommendations on places to see, restaurants to dine in and winemakers to visit. The pool was a nice plus on a hot July day! No dining possibility within the hotel, but there are several restaurants within the walking distance.
Outstanding breakfast and food service was also of a high standard Nothing poor about hotel except from the fact it looks like it is just outside the town of la morra i.e. More country - the town of la morra and surrounding towns had no activities and there were very few people around - this was disappointing
Excellent hotel. Traditional building with all the spirit and the atmoshere of italian winefields. pool, rich breakfast , traditional rooms, excellent services. If you are around STAY at gondina... excellent!
quiet, clean and confortable
Location is ok, very clos to Barolo town (5 min drive). We had two beds instead of one queen/king size. The windows facing a busy road.
Loved everything. Classical building renovated and decorated with excellent style without being fussy. Fantastic service from the owners, you only had to voice an interest or wish before they would take care of it for you. Lovely views of the Alps from the room balcony where we enjoyed the afternoon sun. Great breakfast. Definitely excellent value for money at Corte Gondina.
excellent reception by the owner/staff upon arrival. great room and lovely surroundings
Perfect location, attentive staff, great value!
Beautiful location with a wonderful view over miles of vineyards: the room (very spacious, stylish with a very comfortable, large bed and a beautiful bathroom) enjoyed the same view. Food (and wine) was excellent.
Great staff, spacious and very clean rooms, excellent cuisine, wonderfull view.
Staff is very friendly and competent, rooms are state-of-the-art, spacious and with a beautiful view over the Piedmontese countryside stretching to the Alps on clear days, food and wine are fantastic. Finally, the Spa is immaculate.
Design,Spa ,stunning view, outstanding cooking Bad light for reading in bed
Recommended by a friend, this was a real find, both the hotel, which was excellent, and the surrounding countryside, which was a revelation.
Delightful location, lovely buildings and manicured grounds, tasteful decoration, comfortable accommodation, peace and quiet... enhanced by a smiling, helpful and professional staff.
Our hosts bent over backwards for us, the location was extremely beautiful, the building was enchanting, the dinner was yummy, the room was large and well-appointed, and we were sorry we only got to stay one day. Oh, and if you're getting married in Italy, this is the place to do it! Don't miss this place... If coming from the US, bring an adaptor if you have electronics to charge
Everything! Perfect building, perfect staff and excellent service! This 4-star hotel deserve 5 stars!!! No!
big room and bathrom. They have only one restaurant, and on saturdays guests can not have a dinner there, because it is ocuppied for a wedding(?!).One restaurant in the village is also busy for wedding! Outside the hotel compuond everything si dirty and poorly maintained..
Nice facilities and convienient location close to many of the wine producers in the region. Small historic town was interesting as well.
We were here for the second time: it is just a lovely hotel with verey friendly staff!
My husband and I had a very relaxing stay. Great pool and grounds. The staff were extremely helpful.
Location is beautifull, large room and bathroom. Staff not friendly, breakfast very poor and long waiting for new bread and other things. Overpriced menu for diner. We were here end of august and there werent many other guests, bar closed, terraces closed.Room is dark.
Very clean with large rooms and good parking facilities. Not a particularly good location but still acceptable.
Nice big rooms, good location, easy parking
Your average corporate conference hotel. Everything was fine, expect that the place has the charme of an airport lounge. But big, nice rooms+bathrooms, friendly staff, easy access. Sits outside of town though, in a bit of a desolate, undeveloped stretch of land.
The third time we've stayed for hockey tournament. Always a nice hotel to stay in, comfortable and quiet at night. Good staff n the whole and friendly. Breakfast wasn't as good a last year.
The hotel is a fairly new facility. The rooms were larger than most hotels we have stayed in in Italy. It was a little off the beaten path but we enjoyed our stay here.
A wonderful hotel, situated in a beautiufl position in the hills of Piemonte, with gorgeous views. Rooms are cleverly designed and first class; with luxurious bathrooms. Large balconies with all rooms. Excellent breakfast included. The restaurant is a must, featuring the best service and innovative and delicious cuisine. Good wine list also.
The hotel has a sleek modern design and the rooms are light and spacious with beautiful views. Their restaurant was great and excellent value. Would definitely go back. I wish they had a bar in the hotel, but there is an area where you can sit and the receptionist was happy to serve us a drink there before dinner and also brought us fresh hazelnuts.
Modern hotel and restaurant on a hilltop overlooking the nearby towns of Montelupo Albese and Rodello. Rooms are open and airy with a small patio space. The hotel restaurant features the regional cooking of Piemonte and is very good with a nice regional wine list. A good base for exploring the Langhe wine region.
It was great. Wonderful view.
Excellent location, helpful staff-especially Gino, great restaurant and general friendly atmosphere throughout. no complaints
Panoramic views of the wine country. Very friendly staff, advised us on our stay in Torino (stop at Eataly for instance). Also liked the architecture of the hotel, well integrated with the beautiful landscape.
very nice hotel staff, new hotel could improve is breakfast and put carpet in the aisle to reduce some noise(women shoes)
Everything! The staff were incredibly helpful - from organizing winery visits, to bringing us drinks to our rooms and answering all our questions. The food at the restaurant next door was incredible. Perefectly made, regional cuisine with an awesome wine list. KIds also loved the pool - what a stunning view of the Lamghe hills.
Beautiful view and classy design hotel. Furthermore, the staff and wonderful breakfast were awesome. Last but not least, close to Alba and most sights of interest.
