Pros: The hotel looks good, the room was clean and spacious.
Cons: The room seemed like there was furniture missing (lots of empty space). The breakfast was disappointing, not better than lower priced hotels. Typically on other similarly priced hotels you cold get eggs at least. We ended up having breakfast outside.

Pros: Comfortable beds. Breakfast and cofee was Great !
Cons: It was a,little dirty in the bathroom area.
Pros: The location was very near the activities we had planned.
Cons: The cleanliness of the bathroom was not up to standards. There were items on the floor left from previous occupants. One in particular was a disposable razor.
Pros: Staff was friendly, room clean, beds comfortable; breakfast fresh.
Cons: My second floor room had one window and it was blocked by the concrete front awning. The desk clerk in the morning said they usually give that room to late check-ins, and if I'd asked they would have changed it. I should have been warned; room too dark
Pros: Staff was very friendly and informative.
Clean. Nice rooms.
Pros: Staff was professional and polite. Hotel was clean and breakfast was good.
Cons: Wireless internet needs improving.
I was warmly greeted by the front desk staff. They offered me bottled water and fresh-baked cookies. Since it was almost time for the cookies to be put away for the evening, I was able to have more than one. The staff made sure that I was very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent.
Pros: Hampton Inns are always great! The room was comfortable, clean and spacious. The location was ideal as well as the first floor room with plenty of room for my bicycle.
The hotel was very clean and quiet. We asked about some places in the area to eat. we had been thinking about a particular restaurant and the desk person diplomatically steered us in another direction. we found out later why and we were very grateful.
Pros: staff was very friendly and helpful. They have a great breakfast. Hot items , bacon eggs not your typical 'breakfast included' breakfast
Pros: Easy to get to, clean, friendly staff, free breakfast, free internet
Cons: No restaurant, there are not a lot of dining choices in Frostburg
Pros: Location, convenience and cleanliness. Have stayed at the same hotel many times.
Cons: Since I went through Priceline.com I could not change anything about my room. I wanted a smoking room and that was not an option on the website. Also, this hotel has changed from last August. Now there is only 1 smoking room in the whole hotel.
Hampton Inn at Frostburg has a warm atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast is really a big plus and would definitely bring us back to stay at this inn.
Pros: The bed was very comfortable. I have a bad back and have had problems with other hotel beds.
Pros: Very nice room, very clean. Nice fridge and microwave combo!will definitely stay there when I go to Frostburg to visit my parents.
Good location. Buffet breakfast was only fair. Not enough fresh fruits. Limited selections. Good coffee. Kind staff.
Pros: comfortable beds.
Cons: Difficult to find stations on TV.

Pros: My husband and I stayed here overnight on our way home from the beach. It was a great end to our vacation. Our room was very clean, ready on time, and exactly what I requested (mountain view, king bed, high floor). We enjoyed canoeing on the lake, it was absolutely beautiful! We had dinner at LB's and the breakfast buffet, both of which were very good. All of the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. We also enjoyed swimming and a brief time in the casino. Overall we had a wonderful stay here!
Pros: Beautiful area, many things to do, food was ok. Rooms were clean and comfortable.
Cons: Some of the staff was not very helpful. Missed opportunities to earn points with rewards card due to staff not asking for card.
Cons: Guests shouldn't have to pay a cover charge for night time entertainment
Try your luck at the casino when you stay at Rocky Gap Casino & Resort in Flintstone. Guests can indulge in massages, aromatherapy, or mani/pedis, and Lakeside Restaurant, one of 3 restaurants, serves American cuisine and is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. An indoor pool and a bar/lounge are other highlights, and rooms offer room service and premium bedding.
Pros: Nicest place in Cumberland my daughter attends Frostburg so I stay her often.
Cons: Only one treadmill The guy behind the desk couldn't find the remote in the gym and suggested that I take it from my room. My daughter was in the room which means she couldn't watch TV. No biggie but a little silly
Pros: Very nice clean room. Comfortable bed.
Pros: It was the cleanest place I ever stayed at
Cons: Mattress was to firm.
Pros: Fantastic pool and very friendly staff.
Pros: What I liked best was that they have 2 queen size beds in a room rather than full size. The hotel was conveniently located, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the free breakfast was delicious.
When visiting Frostburg, Gunter Hotel is a great choice to consider. Free perks include WiFi, self parking, and continental breakfast daily between 7:30 AM and 10:30 AM. Rooms at this historic hotel feature bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves.
Pros: Inexpensive, comfortable, clean room. (Don't let the outside fool you.) Small rooms, good for a one night stay. There is a bar in the parking lot for those so inclined and lots of TV stations for those not looking for night life. Good for a couple, not for a family.
Cons: Had to pick up the key in the bar, which is also owned by the hotel owner.

Pros: Perfect location for Cumberland visitors or just passing through. Loved the landscaping & pool. Cracker Barrel was around the corner.
Cons: Hall smelled of cigarettes.
Pros: Beautiful landscaping with a scenic stream on property, giving it a secluded, country feel. An unexpected oasis in an urban location. Excellent free breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: Extremely hot and humid in the hallways (room temp was great). It felt more comfortable outside than in these areas.
Pros: BUILDING WAS WELL MAINTAINED, STAFF WERE POLITE
Cons: ROOM APPARENTLY WAS A SMOKING ROOM WITH A VERY STRONG ODOR. NO WINDOW TO LOOK OUTSIDE.
Pros: The room was clean and the free breakfast was good.
Cons: There was a group of teenagers in the hotel and were runnning around all night till 2 or 3 in the morning. I called staff several times but nothing really changed. It made a little trip I made with my husband extremely stressful and we did not enjoy our stay because of this
Pros: Check-in was easy and fast, the hotel is clean and an outstanding value. The continental breakfast was not the best we've had but it was good. The food was decent quality and there was a pretty good selection of hot and cold items. Room was clean and quiet, parking was great and all the staff we encountered were outgoing and quite friendly. We go out a few times a year, stay in a hotel after dinner just for some quiet time away from the kids:) and this hotel after our first visit a few years back has been our local getaway ever since. The location is great as well, very close to the interstate and most of the restaurants and entertainment in the area.
Cons: We settled on a queen sized bed but it seemed smaller than a queen (although it could've been in our heads or because we are used to a larger bed) the comforter has a couple small stains on it but nothing disgusting, in fact my wife didn't even notice and she is a clean freak. I'm sure if she had seen it she would've requested another, which I'm certain they would be provided, but she missed it. Other than that the stay was very quiet peaceful and nice.
Pros: Pool and jacuzzi were well maintained. Room was clean
Cons: Not a large selection of tv channels
Pros: Quiet rooms
Cons: Needs 2 trash cans in each room, 1 in bedroom area and another in the bathroom.
Cons: The hotel was tight beside a set of train tracks. Trains were moving all night. It was loud and frequently got woken up.
Pros: Friendly staff & nice decor
Cons: Gaps in slider windows allowed more screeching & banging noises due to high level of train traffic, which made comfort level extremely low & aggrivating
Pros: Convenient location to Paw Paw WV. Visited from Chicago to attend a funeral
Cons: Unbelievably one of the worst hotels I've stayed. I travel very frequently and depend on hotels for lodging. Family was in town for a funeral. We rented approximately 6-7 rooms. Three of these rooms had evidence of bed bugs. Management's initial solution was to send up housekeeping. Really?! Does housekeeping have an exterminater license to fumagate? I would not recommend. I do not recommend. Suggest Fairfield Inn. Much better property.
Pros: Breakfast was great. People there where friendly.
Cons: Wasn't clean very well. Walking was very clean just detail stuff like mirror and spill stuff of the back of the chair
Pros: Overall, a comfortable & convenient, standard hotel. Free parking, wifi, full & served breakfast, microwave, fridge. All one needs.
Pros: The staff was excellent and location was convenient.
Cons: We found the hallways and room to be depressing in lighting and colors. The parking area is little uncomfortable if you park late at night.

Pros: Good basic room. Nothing fancy. Basic really, but that's what I was looking for. Room was clean and quiet. Bed was just OK, but I slept quite well and I am a light sleeper with a bad back.Lots of choices on cable TV. Staff was friendly and accommodating. I didn't try the breakfast, but they had what you'd expect - make your own waffles with cereal, oatmeal coffee, tea, etc. Dog friendly hotel - good to know if you are traveling with one. Microwave and fridge in room.
Cons: WiFi had no password protection, although I realize that's a tiny fig leaf at least it's something. Bathroom was tiny, but good water pressure and water flow in shower.
Pros: Okay to crash.
Microwave and refrigerator helped when travelling with kids.
Cons: 1. P. hair on the potty seat..:(
2. Given key to occupied room causing confusion for us and the family sleeping inside. Could have been a dangerous situation.
Pros: Location, comfort, cleanliness, pet friendly, good breakfast...
Cons: Didn't notice a free continental breakfast as mentioned. Beds were pretty rough along with the pillows. The hallways smelled very bad.
Pros: Good location lots of restaurants and and close to the mall and not far off the interstate.
Cons: Worst hotel I've ever been to. Smell in the hallway and stairway smelled like cat urine (and I'm talking a lot of cats). Place was a little scary and loud. Couldn't spend the evening there, didn't feel safe. Got a room at another hotel down the road.
Pros: Pros; Location, adequate cont. breakfast, parking, proximity to food options, cost, about all else In room was 7.5 - except beds
Cons: Cons; Better bed preparation, too wrinkled spread & sheets - not to the satisfactory appraisel of rest of the room.
