Excellent choices for on site restaurants; lazy river with in water bar is as good as it gets
The visual decor/color pallet of the hotel rooms felt a bit dated, but not to the point of detouring me from returning
The layout, pool area and the shops! Friendly staff
The pillows, too hard! The rooms were not very soundproof. Could hear everyone around you! Shower faucet was broke.
Booked through Kayak. When I got to the hotel, was told they couldn't find my reservation. I gave them my ID, my CC, and left my luggage with the desk with the understanding that they would put my bags in my room and have a room key waiting for me when I got to the desk later. When I did get to the desk later, my bags were still at the front desk. They had found my reservation, but said that since I booked through a third party, they wanted to charge another $50 on my card. They said it was refundable, but after everything I had been through I wasn't so sure. Will not be booking through Kayak or staying at LDL any more.
Restaurants on site. Room was clean. Entertainment readily available. Great rate.
Room not r day upon arrival. Two hour wait to check in. Food was okay.
Downgraded room without downgrading price
Room wasn't ready at 5:30 when check-in was at 4. Waited a long while to get another room. Usually hotel upgrade you if not ready by time specified. Was suppose to have fridge but did get one. Was suppose to have shower tub but only got shower. Water was cold in shower. Toilet had trouble flushing.
The hotel was very nice
Very relaxing and comfortable.
We loved the pool area.
To expensive for what you get...no microwaves....no refrigerator...poor security...loud parties in rooms...no response by desk...restaurants perfect....slots too tight....no real variety in types of games. Regular old fashioned boring slots...need more give aways and lively as sudden activities...like vegas
Regular Room with 1 King bed
Bed was nice and comfortable. Room was clean. My dinner at the restaurant Asia was delicious. Comfortable seating in the lobby near gas fireplaces and a coffee shop nearby. The only personnel I dealt with were the check-in people and they were friendly. It was too cold during my stay to look into any of their outdoor facilities/entertainment. The price was great during my stay, it was cheaper than many of the other hotels in the area. Though it can get very expensive at certain times of the year.
No hooks or racks in the bathroom to hang towels/washrags. No mini-fridge included. While they offer free internet, it is slow. They offer faster internet but you have to pay extra for it each day you want to use it.
The location was good.
They wanted 3x the daily rate for the next nights stay.
Location, price, mostly comfortable, friendly atmosphere. Got 2 queen beds instead of the king that we had requested, but not a major problem. Room starting to show signs of wear, mostly in bathroom, but overall was clean. (Cleanliness is the thing with me!)
Major carp of mine (ever since they started using it) is the way the beds in hotels are made up: the coverlet between 2 sheets. The coverlet doesn't come up to my shoulders, and all three pieces seem to be cemented in place so that I can't pull them higher (I have tried!), leaving me with cold shoulders or cramped feet and legs when I try to burrow further down the bed. What is with this system? It's the reason I will not give an excellent rating for comfort to any hotel that uses it.
