Situated in the heart of Lake Placid, New York, Golden Arrow Lakeside Resort is nestled in the Adirondack Mountains and has created a unique blend of comfort and luxury in its accommodations. This hotel is one of only six in the country to receive a Platinum Eco Rating from Audubon International, giving guests peace of mind that they can relax with nature in a setting that doesn’t disturb the natural environment or waste resources. This resort is just minutes from Olympic Village, Mirror Lake, and the downtown area of Lake Placid.
The Golden Arrow Lakeside Resort offers a number of deluxe rooms, as well as many specialty rooms and suites, all appointed with the latest in modern technology but still offering a relaxing, rustic design theme that makes you feel like you’re part of the beautiful mountains surrounding the hotel. The resort offers a number of amenities, including a 24-hour fitness center, pool, and private beach access for guests. Pets are welcome at this hotel, and 10% of their annual pet fees are donated to the local Humane Society each year.
The indoor pool is heated, and features a steam room, sauna, and two whirlpool hot tubs.
