Pros: The Ritz staff is world class! The bellman rocks!
Cons: Everything was perfect

Pros: Rooms are very nice. Complementary coffee on each floor. Staff was wonderful.
Cons: Pool and bar were meat markets. If you are into that sort of thing then I guess this could be a positive.

Pros: Bathroom was amazing and bed was incredibly comfortable. The layout of the floor is a bit confusing but got the hang of it after the first few times. Overall my stay was great and I would definitely come back.
Pros: Bathroom: it was big, clean, had amazing lighting and neat, futuristic features. The shower could fit 3 people with a huge bench. The shower head was by far the nest thing about the whole stay! It was a massive, square, waterfall that covered every inch of me at one time. This is where the positives begin and end however.
Cons: My husband took me to the Westin Downtown Dallas for our anniversary. We are not wealthy and my expectations may be too high for today's lack of standards...I don't know.
Parking: Self is $26, valet is $30 (only options)
Bed: Like sleeping on the floor with only a thin down blanket to cushion you.
Room Service: Not only did it take forever to get, but we called 3 different times before we made a choice that they actually had!! They had "run out" of the first 2 choices, and the third choice we were informed, although it was already on the menu, it was new and wouldn't be actually available for another 2 WEEKS!!! A 5 stat hotel shouldn't run out of everything or misrepresent a darn thing in my opinion!
Staff: Cleaning lady flat out walked in on us twice! So we had to leave the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door the entire time with the extra lock on. However, the front desk had to call so we could open the door for the towel guy because he couldn't knock with the sign there (maybe the maid could learn from him).
TV: Only a handful of channels and the programs/actual episodes, that are the same everyday! I'm talking not just the same program but the exact same episodes everyday we were there.
Noise: Although on the second to highest floor, 31 floors up, we heard sirens, traffic, and construction (the entire time)! I understand we were in downtown Dallas, but seriously, I even had to listen to the delivery truck trying to back up and park for almost 5 minutes a couple times a day. We heard every door that opened and closed, and although we were as far away from the elevators as one could get, we heard it EVERY time it moved!
Checking out: We requested a luggage cart/dolly THREE times over a total of 35 minutes and still NEVER saw hair of it nor any attendants! We waited until the exact minute of check out time and then hauled it all down by ourselves with no apology or anything.
Misc: No vending machines, and the gift shop is an over priced joke even in gift shop standards. However there is a nicely stalked, friendly staffed Seven Eleven around the corner within comfortable walking distance.
All of that said.....would I own the bathroom, yes! Would I ever stay there again, NO.....but that's just me and my opinion.
Pros: The rooms very large and the gym was awesome. They even provided workout clothes and shoes, which I forgot to bring. The staff was very professional, except for the maid service.
Cons: The maid service was lazy. The staff only cleaned the room once in three nights in spite of our repeated efforts to have it cleaned daily.

Pros: My girlfriend and I stayed here for one night while I was in town visiting her and we had an amazing time. She lives in Dallas but we took a night in a hotel just for a nice change of scenery and had an experience we will remember forever. The room was spectacular but I have to mention the service first. Our friend at the front desk, Angelina Fiorini, was incredibly pleasant to talk to and helpful. one of the best hotel front desk staff I've talked with in a long time. Even though my girlfriend and I were there for a private night away we were still desighted to have a long conversation with her.
After our chat we went up to the room. Angelina gave us a junior suite which was well decorated and filled with quality furniture, a comfy bed and a great bathroom. We decided if we ever live in a house it should feel like this place.
Glad we got to stay at the stoneleigh and will definitely come back when we need a comfortable spot in Dallas.
Cons: There was no fitted sheet on the bed.
Pros: Great location in uptown. A nice, modern look.
Cons: Mandatory $25 valet was unexpected
Pros: Clean rooms, friendly staff, and very spacious walk-in closets.
Cons: The handle that controlled the water was not working so you would eaither take a cold shower or a burning hot shower.
Pros: Nice, comfortable rooms. Spacious. Nice decor, great breakfast place and bar in the hotel. Very nice, helpful staff. Great location.
Pros: The hotel it's very nice, elegant, clean close to Ritz Carlton or super high end hotels for 1/2 of the money.
Cons: Staff it's nice but maybe that's the difference with hotels that charge 500 USD per night.

Bathrooms feature sleek black-and-white Calcutta marble flooring and chrome fixtures.
Cons: Breakfast staff wasn't very helpful, but overall I loved my stay.
Pros: The room was very clean. The beds were comfortable and the atmosphere was welcoming. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. They greeted us everyday that we came in and out. It was quiet in the hallways at night.
Cons: I did not notice anything negative.
Pros: I liked a lot customer service and the low price for an excellent hotel.

Pros: This was like going back in time 15 years ago - such great customer service from valet, bellman and check in - everyone treated like you were the only one there.
We felt pampered
Pros: Great price ,location & service
Cons: The facilities have been updated but you can still tell it's a very old hotel. The a/c in our room wasn't great. Would stay there again!
Cons: The room was very warm and got even warmer in the middle of the night. I complained to the front desk and they said they would send a technician, but the temp never changed by much.
Cons: The AC couldn't keep up to keep me comfortable.
Pros: Was willing to remove a faulty charge
Cons: No hot water, TV didn't work, coffee machine in room did not work either, and a very loud AC
Pros: Great service at the bar. Friendly bar staff. Great desk staff in the lobby.
Pros: Courtesy car will take you anywhere in 1 mile radius... BIG plus for us. Staff are super friendly!
Pros: Location was good. The hotel had a lot of amenities.
Cons: The bar staff was not very good. Not friendly at all. Enjoyed the stay but it was not as nice as other Fairmonts where I've stayed.
Pros: We felt welcomed, respected and valued as if we were family.
The hotel is all about making you feel important. It is immaculate, the service was perfect in every respect. The staff made us feel comfortable as though we were both important and yet like we were old friends.
Cons: Absolutely nothing.
Pros: The staff were super. Very helpful and everyone was smiling! I stay at the Fairmont when I am visiting customers for business. Our family trip took us through Dallas and the only hotel I thought of was the Fairmont. My family will definitely visit the Fairmont in the future again.
Cons: All good! Bartender made great drinks, pool was awesome for my daughter and wife and location was superb for walking to dinner.
The Fairmont Dallas luxury hotel in Texas is ideally located in heart of downtown Dallas Arts District offering fine dining, shopping, arts, and entertainment, and combines hospitality and elegance with Texas flair. Accommodations include iHome iPod docking stations in deluxe rooms and suites. Fairmont Gold, an exclusive lifestyle hotel experience, includes private check-in, healthy continental breakfast in lounge, and Bose music system in guestroom.
Cons: Parlor rooms are pull out beds not a actual bed, Kayak did not define that
Pros: A remarkable hotel at the epicenter of Dallas. The hotel has immediate access to all local Dart rail trains (leading everywhere), the T (taking you to Fort Worth) and Amtrak with straight connections to Chicago and Los Angeles. A memorable vacation starts with 1 or 2 nights here and then a surprise trip either on Amtrak or Dart out to DFW airport. The atrium is amazing with views of Reunion tower and the famed 560 Wolfgang Puck's restaurant. Make your reservations at least 2-3 weeks out to get an available time slot for a memorable night viewing downtown Dallas from 3/4 of mile away and 560 feet up in the air. Room was spacious and immaculate and view of downtown, rail station, Omni was incredible. Request a view of downtown when you check in.
Cons: Valet parking is a little pricey so I opted for self pay parking at the Amtrak station ($6 for 12 hours)
Pros: Super pet friendly. They welcomed my dog with a hyatt dog bed and dog dish for her and also gave us two treats that she enjoyed. However, there is a pet depost of $100 that's non-refundable
Cons: All good
Pros: I loved the location. Friday nights dinner at five-sixty was wonder full and the view amazing. Saturday morning we awoke and took a stroll through downtown dallas. And the shops on the 1st level were convenient.
Cons: So last weekends stay was all for fiancee....Shes been really stressed lately and i wanted to give her a night to remember.First off partially my fault, but i booked on prom weekend so parking was horrible. I actually ended up parking across the street from Reunion Tower. Then greeted at the front desk i find that they've stuck me into a double queen handicap room, not ok. After speaking with the young lady down stairs she apologizes and gives me a different room. Again its a double queen not the single room. I had booked. Then when i go to wash up before dinner at the five-sixty, the drain to the sink was clogged and water poured on to the floor. Kids at the prom were having fun on the balcony, they were laughing, screaming and enjoying theyre night. Unfortunately for us, we were located right above...
Pros: View was awesome! Staff was really nice and helpful. Definitely will be stay here again when the chance comes up
Cons: Nothing was wrong
Pros: Very nice hotel, with excellent meeting facilities. Very convenient to West End nightlife and dining. Good food. Easy and cheap access to airport via rail (DART or TRE).
Cons: The train is a little noisy, even on the opposite site of the building.
Pros: The room was clean enough.
Cons: Valet is a joke. Staff is rude. Not pet friendly at all. Terrible location, hard to access. Expect long waits for any service needed and fees that aren't shown online. Make sure to really check your bill upon leaving. Ours was screwy. Couldn't complete a quick check-out, because we had to go to the desk to get it fixed, which took forever.
Pros: My entire experience was weird. When we first arrived, we wanted to unload our car and I got yelled at like I was a child. Literally yelled at. I had to be firm back in order to get direction as to what te he'll I was supposed to do. Then, upon check in, I was informed that for our two cars, self park was $40. I had no idea it would be so much. I was extremely unhappy but tried to remain optimistic. I purposefully found a hotel with a Pool per request of our group. The pool is a sick hilarious joke. It's the size of a van. It was ridiculous. It was also completely full because of the 10 whole people who were in it. Left the hotel an figured out they overcharged me. Called them and they "took care of it". Well they isn't it still is not reconciled in my account.
Cons: Over charged, expensive parking, rude parking dude, misleading pool size.
Pros: Friendly staff, beautiful location and near everything.
Pros: Everything else.
Cons: Overpriced compared to facility. The room could have been cleaner. The entrance location is a bit tricky for pedestrians. Not my best hotel experience.
Pros: Contemporary rooms with great staff. Highly satisfied.
The silhouette of the hotel and Reunion Tower have given the Dallas skyline worldwide recognition. Located in the heart of downtown Dallas' West End District. Connected to Light rail and nearby business, sports, cultural and shopping areas. This is a smoke-free property.
Pros: Comfy beds, nice breakfast when low crowd, clean rooms
Cons: Smoking rooms filled the rest of the hall of the floor we were on. We couldn't move because the hotel was booked. Breakfast was a nightmare due to a large crowd. We asked twice for a manager and were told she had stepped out, and when we pressed for more information, were finally told she just wouldn't be in that day. It was a frustrating experience, although a nice hotel. I believe there are management issues.

Pros: IT WAS CONVIENENT FOR THE PLACE I WAS ATTENDING MOST OF MY STAY
Cons: THAT THEY ONLY CLEAN THE ROOM EVERY 7 DAYS.
Pros: If I had to live in a hotel for a while, this is the place I would like to stay! Clean, quiet, very well appointed with the necessities of such life including free laundry, 24-hr easily accessible food, gym, free wifi. Very well kept up & friendly staff.
Cons: Nothing at all! My third time staying here, and I'll do it again in a heartbeat.
Pros: I liked the space
It was great for the price
Pros: Great for the price
Cons: The elevator was out of service one night
Pros: The rooms were good. It appears that they rent the rooms for long term stay. The rooms had smell and it was there all the time. Some of the staff was good and the rest were not into customer satisfaction.
Cons: Smell in the room. I felt I paid a bit more since the rooms o for XXX a day on a month lease.

Pros: One elevator of 2 was out most of my stay. There with a large wedding party and we were all going and coming at same time. Very frustrating....
Pros: While the room was not super luxurious - for a business trip - it was perfect. Rather a NYC loft feel (hence the name) with modern vibe. I had a nice view of some of the Dallas skyline. I do believe they really are green conscious - with a little recycle bin in the room so I didn't have to feel guilty about water bottles being tossed. Very close to the convention center and Main Street where we found some nice eateries and pubs (a five minute walk). Super friendly staff from the front desk to the bartender at the lounge. At the end of the day, the bed was very comfortable and I slept well.
Cons: Erm - the pool area could have used a little help. I have come to count upon the hotel shampoo & conditioner (never bother to pack my own anymore)- but didn't care for the pre-mixed stuff in the wall dispenser.
Pros: Good location. Cool, modern feel.
Cons: Bed was not the most comfortable, very firm.
Pros: Good location, easy check-in, & very helpful, friendly staff. Wouldn't consider the hipster, trendy decor, setting, etc., a bad thing- just different. Kinda cool (but glad I had researched online prior to know what to expect).
Cons: The shower wall (foggy glass) was a bit strange, especially for my situation - staying with a friend. There's no room service, but refreshment/snack bar had enough.
Pros: The Bar in the lobby was nice. Grrat location

Cons: The room was small with very few amenities. The tub would fill with water while showering. This was an issue that was reported to the front desk. Their response was "we will let someone know". Therefore my family had to shower in ankle deep water each time we showered. Also, the towel bar over the sink was not attached well and kept falling off.
Pros: room was comfortable and quiet.
Cons: Evening shower was luke-warm, morning was hot.
Pros: The assortment of furniture was an added bonus with the various positions of sitting and needing and so forth. And just the right privacy along with the availability of the sliding curtains and large glass door that offered a view from other guests if desired. Well done. The wife and I and our discrete companions will gladly use your rooms again. The wife left very satisfied.
Cons: One of our visitors didn't perform as expected but it was no fault of the hotel
Pros: Comfortable beds and nice small work station. I enjoyed the comfortable living area.
Cons: Prefer a tub option over just shower
Pros: The room was a nice size with a king sized bed, love seat, desk, and little bar area with a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee area. This was nice as one could feel more at "home" even though he/she was in a hotel. The room also had a balcony which was big enough for two people to sit comfortably while enjoying the tree lined garden/walkway below. All in all, a very relaxing and friendly atmosphere.
Cons: There was nothing that I didn't like. The staff was friendly and got us in to a room as soon as possible. The location was also easily accessible to major freeways and highways so we could always get to our destinations in a timely manner.
Pros: This hotel was perfect for an affordable girls weekend getaway to Dallas. The staff was accommodating, the room spacious, and the location near the action.
Pros: Cleanliness and comfort,
Cons: Price of Breakfast

Cons: Few restaurants and shops in the immediate vicinity of the hotel.
Pros: It was close to the venue of the event we were there for.
Cons: The room was paid for through kayak however the hotel charged me again at their regular rate.
Pros: Size of the suite, hot chocolate bar, fresh infused water :)
Cons: Had an issue w reservation and payment, inconvenience of waiting on ice, parking
Pros: The room was nice looking from walking in the door. Expect more from Marriott but this room and service was not the what you expect.
Cons: Where do I start?? I should had known this would not be a good stay by the service when I checked in. The gentleman in front of me was being taking care of wonderfully. The lady taken of me was not giving best service. She did not welcome me to the Hotel, ask may I help you, asked for my ID and credit card. Handed me the room key and said park on either side of Hotel. While I was waiting, I was listening to the other lady checking in the gentleman beside me.....WOW... customer service was great....she was very detailed from parking to where elevators are about his room.
The room.....appeared to be nice....however closer look....
The bathroom only had one light working, taking a shower in dim light.
Web site said Bath Robes....NO bath robes!!!!
My daughter noticed the desk chair....was RIPPED badly!!! Three inches across the front seat....OMG....showing the cushion...nasty!! Desk lamp didn't work.
Then when we went to bed.....another shocker....the pillows....SMELLED SO NASTY!!!
I called the desk....and was asked to be put on hold.....AFTER 5 minutes....I put the phone down and told my daughter let me know when some one answers.....I headed down stairs to the desk and saw the desk person standing there talking to a Security Person. I asked for a Manager, he said he was. I explained I had been put on hold and been waiting. Then about the pillows and asked if we could have more...he said "No", that they was over booked and didn't have any more. I asked him so I need to sleep without pillows? Manager sent the Security person to check the pillows.....needless to say after the Security Person called from the room and reported the smell was nasty on the on the pillows and the desk chair was terrible and as my daughter was telling about finding holes in the sheets...found painted finger nails on the floor!! The Manager was knocking on the door and said lets get you ladies out of this room and to a new room. When we got to the next room....few pillows was still nasty smell....seems maybe its from soured linens, ended up wrapping them in towels!
Manager also said he will find some bath robes due to second room had no bath robes!!! As we got settle in....noticed on the floor hair pins....REALLY....are these rooms cleaned after guests????
After all said and done...we did get $ 22 off the room rate....lolololol...
Oh.....being put on hold time....desk person AKA Manager...answered as I walked back in door with Security person....Do math of time that was....ride down elevator, explain about pillows, going back up to room (9th floor).

Pros: Staff was very nice, the cleaning ladies were total sweethearts, and the free breakfast was AMAZING.
Cons: I didn't like that they ran my card for expenses, at a different rate than what I was anticipating. Not a big deal, but it might've bothered someone else A LOT.
Cons: Just one pancake machine. Long waiting line
Pros: Location, staff was very responsive to the issues related to my stay.
Cons: Blood drops on pillow case, dirty coffee maker abdand room smelled like a cigarette factory.
Pros: Staff was very courteous
Cons: Long line for breakfast
Pros: The location
Cons: The stafff checked my wife in a room that was vacant. When she went into the room a man was laying in the bed. Which scared her. She could have easily been hurt.
Pros: Everything was fine.
Pros: Good location and we'll kept
Pros: Clean, comfortable king size bed. Fast free internet wifi connection for my laptop. Great breakfast at no charge.
Pros: The breakfast was excellent and the attendant was awesome.

Pros: I really liked the lady who checked us in and allowed us to have late check out!!
Cons: For some reason, my room had a stale odor..
Pros: The pancake machine
Cons: Wifi was too slow
Pros: Free breakfast, beds microwave and mini fridge
Cons: Rooms are not adequately soundproofed - people walking above us normally still was very loud Not a continuous white noise for the air-conditioner so it got very quiet allowing the noise from upstairs to be even more noticeable. An expensive price hotel
Pros: Very comfortable and well appointed room. Hotel employee , at the reception, check-in desk recognized me, remembered things about me and helped me get another reservation. That is always very nice to be remembered and customer-centered. She is good.
Cons: Every thing was fine. The breakfast staff was much more customer friendly than the last time I was at your hotel.
Pros: Very nice, clean, and beautiful rooms for the price. I like staying at Holiday Inn Express in several cities. Hotel employee on Monday morning was especially gracious giving explanations about the fire alarms.
Cons: There were two false alarms early in the morning on Sunday and Monday. We evacuated our rooms around 5:15 AM to the Lobby. The staff person person seemed not to know what to do. The alarm on Monday AM was shorter and stopped before I left my room.
Pros: The room was very clean with well appointed amenities. Customer service was very good, especially from , upon late afternoon and evening arrival. The breakfast staff person for Saturday through Monday was much improved over my previous stays.
Cons: No. I applaud the afternoon and evening staff which was much improved over my previous arrivals and stays.
Pros: Availability since it was a last minute plan
Cons: Everything was wonderful!
Pros: Location and breakfast
Cons: Smell of room
Pros: This is an EXCELLENT hotel. The suite we had was tops - very roomy with first class appointments The sitting area was fantastic when guests stopped by. The room was huge with top appliances. Breakfast was wonderful. This exceeded my expectations.
When we started our stay we found the occasional hair in the bathroom, but I wrote it off as a simple oversight. But after housekeeping put the nasty stained sheets back on my bed I knew this place was unsanitary. When I went to the front desk they were very flippant like I was the one who had a problem. I decided I had to call the 800 number and talk to corporate. I think for a room that charged $---- per night they should at least clean the room. NEVER AGAIN.
Pros: Location is convenient for my trip.
Cons: Bed sheets stained - looked like a someone used a whole bottle of KY jelly. I removed the sheets and threw them in a pile on the floor. Housekeeping took the sheets from the floor put the same nasty sheets back on the bed! Front Desk had weak response!
Bed was comfy, water got nice and hot, nice sized bathroom. Large seating area for breakfast. Can get coffee/tea anytime and complimentary cookies at front desk.
Pros: The Front Desk attendant, is probably the best staff member I have ever encountered! She is what made this hotel above and beyond. Everything was in its place, quiet location, easy to get onto highway. Seemed to be a newer building.
Cons: Not a thing.
Cons: One sink

Pros: The room was clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable. Staff was very friendly. My neighbors above me were a little loud but that's to be expected sometimes at a hotel. Overall I loved it. I'd definitely stay there again!
Cons: The only downfall to the room I was in, it had a smell to it. It smelled like a the room had a stuffy smell. Nothing that would keep from staying there again. Overall, the room was more than I expected.
Pros: Awesome low pricing for studio, friendly staff, perfect location to everything near by. For my first visit to candlewood I was very impressed the studio felt like a mini apartment. Only bummer was no snack machines other than that it was awesome!
Pros: Nothing, It had a kitchen
Cons: they did not clean my room for all the days i was there . its 4 days that i did not get any house keeping which is weird
Pros: The first thing noticed was the cleanliness. The staff was very cheerful and helpful and actually made us feel like guests instead of interruptions. The option of the lending library, movies and appliances was awesome!
Cons: The entrance was very hard to find. Apparently, due to city regulations there could be no lighting. The actual address did not match the address on the entrance, either. There should be some note of this on the web site for those relying on GPS.
Pros: Was centrally located to everything
Cons: No cleaning service and no fresh towels unless you asked for them at the front desk. No business center
There were many features that I liked and enjoyed in this hotel. I recommend it to everyone. It¿s definitely a home away from home; the suite provides you with EVERYTHING you need. I was totally impressed! The staff was very pleasant, professional and assisted in helping above their duties. Example: I went to check on my clothes in the dryer (which is free, along with washing) a staff was in the area and offered to bring my clothes to my room since I needed to leave shortly. I would definitely stay there again when I am in the area.
Pros: Being a single parent on a budget the amenities of a hotel are important to me. The suite had all the comforts of home. The ability to have an actual meal in the room without eating out every night was great!
If you don't need to get downtown or to DFW then this Greenville location is fine. The rooms are pleasant, the bathrooms are clean and spacious, they even have snacks that are fairly priced ands payment is made on the honor system. The staff is great. For me it was just too much being in the freeway for two hours to go 30 miles or so when there are so many great hotels within 15 minutes of the airport.
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: Far from airport, in Hwy 636 with construction it's 1.5 to 2 hours from DFW. On a perfect day it's 45 minutes.

Pros: -free breakfast, location, free wifi, and beautiful building with an excellent view. Manager Gina (spelling?) was very sweet and helpful
Cons: We checked in for New Year's Eve and specifically requested a room with a view of fireworks. The first room had no view, I had to pay for an upgraded room after going back downstairs. The room we got next was a disaster. Stains on the couches, dirty carpets, chair that was breaking, and fraying towels. The MOD came up to the room, looked at everything, apologized and moved us to yet another room. She was lovely and sent up a bottle of champagne but I would rather not have had to deal with switching rooms which led to us being very late for our dinner reservation. In short- rooms are not well maintained (last room had staples on the floor), only valet parking, SLOW elevators and front desk staff that don't seem to actually care.
Pros: Great location. Easy access. Nice large room. Included breakfast.
Pros: Beds were very comfortable!!!
Cons: no self parking, but using the texting valet service was quick and easy.
Nothing gluten free available for breakfast except fruit.
Gluten free dinner options were great and deliscious!
Cons: Housekeeping was TERRIBLE. We stayed 3 nights & they only made the bed every day. They never cleaned the bathroom, 2 of the 3 nights they didn't even replace our towels. I had to track down housekeeping to ask for some. They didn't vacuum or empty the trash. There were only 2 elevators that worked.
Pros: Came here for a birthday, everything was wonderful
Cons: Water pressure in shower was a bit lacking.
Pros: Professional and friendly service, excellent breakfast, good Wi-Fi connection, very nice decor, convenient location in the downtown . Our room had 2 queen beds with good mattresses. The stuff allowed us to check out one hour late and then let us sit in the lobby for an hour in the evening.
Pros: Good gym. Polite service. Clean.
Lots of restaurants and bars around.
Shuttle service provided.
Cons: No late night services and extra amenities.
Breakfast was great
Cons: The beds are a Queen size, at best, and so uncomfortable! Mattresses are in desperate need of updating. If a comfortable nights sleep is important to you, I would not recommend.
Pros: Our room was a one Queen bed. Room is small but very clean and nice. Bed is great. All staff are excellent. Bartender makes great "Mule" drinks and it is a good atmosphere. Breakfast comes with the room. You get hot scrambled eggs, ham, salsa, onions, mushrooms, breads, oatmeal, etc.
Cons: Drinks for the evening reception: you get 2 drinks each, house wine which is not good, or domestic beer...hope you like Bud or Miller, not good for me. They have plenty of drinks but you pay for anything else.
But the biggest problem is the food. We have eaten at Magnolia before and it was great. This time there is nothing good to say except for those who served us, excellent service. I sent my $29 rib eye back when it was well done instead of med. rare. Came back bloody pulp rare. I gave up. The spaghetti with veal meatball sounds great on paper and has no taste in reality. Given the other places around to eat, do not eat here as the kitchen has taken a dive.
Pros: Good location, The over all conditions of The building is good And nice
Cons: Housekeeping never Clean my room one day , The Manager in duty reduces USD 50 from The total Of my bill, but this discount does not compensate the inconvenience of this situation.
Pros: Great location, fre bud light draft from 5:30-6:30, free hot breakfast buffet (impressive spread on the weekends). Cool retro boutique vibe.
Cons: Weird smell in lobby, like cleaning agent masked with perfume. No dresser in our room to stash clothes, just a closet.
Pros: Friendly staff.
Cons: Elevator took too long.
Pegasus, the Flying Red Horse, shines brightly as the icon of Dallas, Texas from atop the downtown Dallas boutique hotel located in the Magnolia Petroleum Company Building, one of the city's most revered structures. Built in 1922, this 400-foot high, 29-story building was the first high rise in the United States to have air conditioning and the city's first skyscraper.
Pros: This location was off of the highway which made it very convenient. The room had everything we needed and we were happy the a/c cooled the room very well.
Cons: However, the walls aren't well insulated so we could hear the kids upstairs running around up until midnight. There was about a one inch gap under the door and we were right next to the elevator so we heard everytime someone got in/out.
Cons: There was no sound insulation! And an inch gap under the door, you could hear every single door slam and guys running and and screaming in the hallways at 4am!
