Staff was great. The best hotel beds I've ever slept on. A couple really funny table dealers. Good table minimums
Run down and dirty. The hotel needs a face lift and to me it looks like they will be next to go out of business. Hassled by crazy people in slots of fun building adjacent to casino. Graphite scratched into everything. Saw a fight in casino bar one dude definitely had tattoos all over his face and I don't think he got them in a tattoo shop.
Rooms are out dated. Carpet needed cleaning. Walking across the floors in white socks turned dirty real fast.
The workers there. Especially the front desk personnel. They are always trying to make your stay nice even though they catch so much flack for problems they didn't cause. The room in the tower was soooo much better than the room in the motor court I stayed in last year. Nice room. Good maid service.
The web site and the personnel didn't mention the fact that the AdventureDome was closed the whole time we were going to be there even though we mentioned that was part of why we were going. I was talked into giving them another chance after a terrible room experience last year. It seems that they don't bother to tell their clients or put on their web site important information that may matter to their clients. We will stay at other hotels that don't have a $30 a day "resort fee" for a single coupon book that you can match in the magazines given away free on the strip. I wonder if the management of the other MGM Grand hotels are as uncaring.
My only real issue was with the bathroom. It was obvious it hadn't been cleaned well in quite some time, there were stains everywhere; sink, toilet (!), tub and floors. Everything else seemed fine.
Staff was rude, restraunts not open
nothing this place needs to be bulldozed
Very friendly. Kids has a blast. Room was clean. Very comfy beds and pillows. Friendly staff
Pool wasn't open.
The location was great..the staff was helpful and attentive also
I hate to leave such a review but I would want someone to be honest if they had the same experience! First, there were bed bugs found in our room. My cousin woke up with multiple bites and even killed a bed bug and kept it to show mgmt. We had to give all of our clothes for them to be washed. They then moved our room and said that Risk Mgmt would contact us. I have yet to hear from them, and it is almost 2 weeks later. Then I review my account stmt since I did a lot of traveling the past few weeks and I see that I was charged not once, not twice but THREE times totaling about $120.00 PLUS the stay in which they were refunding due to bed bugs was only half and not the full amount. I have contacted mgmt and risk mgmt and still no call back!! I have been staying with CC since I was a little girl so this experience is more than upsetting! I basically paid and was overcharged to have bed bug bites all of me. NO BUENO!!!
The parking access at the manor
Being lied to by the check in clerk. I made reservations for a smoking room. Clerk said that they don't allow smoking in the rooms. Come to find out that there is a whole building at the manor dedicated to smoking guest.
There was not much great going on here. The place is large which is good for exploring, bad if you don't like walking a lot. The rides/games in the adventure dome are a plus. Also, the rooms during the weekend are much cheaper than other places but you do get what you pay for.
I stayed in the Manor which is about a 12 minute walk from the front of the Casino... that go old. The decor and building materials in the room we sub-par. There were visible stains from moisture on the walls. Dents, dirt in cracks and the wallpaper. There was a smell in the room that was musty and damp. I switched hotels to the Rio and then the Linq and each was 1000% times better overall than this hotel.
price. the wonderful front desk people they were all so very nice interested in what I was talking about and made every effort to make sure my check in and out and in and out was done with no extra work or time for me. can't say enough about the service .
the early morning house keeping noise in the halls
It Is a very old hotel
Our front desk agent who checked us In was wonderful.
Old and dirty
The elevator where not working a few times n wasn't able to get to my room n was late to a meeting cause of it .
The bed was very comfortable, even though it wasnt what I reserved. The parking was very convenient as the rooms are close to the lot. (At the manor)
The check in clerk lied to me. I reserved a smoking room with a king sized bed, but upon check in I was told there are no king beds. At this point I'm thinking Wow! I received a two queen bed room. Unessessary as I was with only my fiancee. Next I was told that there are no longer any smoking room at the hotel. I overheard the prior guest checking in and received a smoking room. Granted they were staying at the main hotel and myself at the manor. I accepted the room later to find out that they do indeed have an entire building devoted to smoking at the manor. I was told that the king size bed was available on a first come basis.
Rude customer service !!!!!
It was a dingy outfit with outdated everything. The shower and A/C had a mind of their own. I totally would not recommend this place
Considering the location from the strip, lack of fridge and microwave, and overall cleanliness quality and comfort, the price was far too high. Hardly better than a motel.
Room was quiet and comfortable and not as run down as the rest of the hotel.
Either clean, repair and update or tear it down...... gross carpet and facility. Shame on MGM ownership. Dirty and in disrepair. Only stayed there due to new years eve room prices elsewhere 10x regular rates
I like the attractions for the children and that is all.
Our room wash very clean, Staff was kind and helpful. Great value stay in Vegas. Very family friendly place.
Aside from the buffet, the food options are limited in the hotel. Our bed was on the soft side, but not terrible.
Room was advertised at 25 bucks, somehow ended up costing 70? There's taxes, and there's false advertisement. We were told we were getting a "free upgrade", there was nothing upgraded about the room, In fact there was trash all over the room because clearly it hadn't been cleaned, and the hot water DID NOT WORK. Nah
Casino was nice.
Would have been nice to have a small fridge in the room. Had to upgrade to not stay in the creepy looking rooms across the street from the hotel in the parking lot.
Very very old property with not so good location and misleading price advertised on all booking sites. The price published do not include resort fee
I love the old time Vegas charm! It would take days to explore the inside of the hotel/casino! So much to do! Felt safe.
Long check in lines. Our room was a little dirty. There was water in the tub when we arrived. A tissue under a chair in our room. Old carpet. Noisy kids.
Loved the circus themes things and performers. Have things for the whole family under one roof. Can't wait to carry the kids back.
I love the family environment
I hated the inflated prices. Never paid this much to stay at circus circus
From all the bad reviews we didn't expect much, but our stay was perfectly adequate. The check in staff was great as were the bartenders. We never ate at the hotel, but all the restaurants looked fine.
The rooms in the West Tower are a hike to get to. As is anything else on the strip. Bring your walking shoes if you don't plan to take cabs! We walked the first night but the second day the sun was just too hot to do it again. Lots of kids.
Checked in with an employee by the name of Margarita. She was super friendly, and seemed to love her job. Was a pleasure working with her.
The location is great and the food at tatuados was amazing great for the family.
Check out time was 11:00 not 12:00 like usuall
I took my wife and 2 kids for a Vegas trip. This casino has everything you need for a great time. From my 5 and 9 year old kids to my wife and I, we had the greatest family get away. Vegas isn't really kid friendly but this casino is perfect for a family with young ones.
I didn't like the fact that they sent us to the motel part of Circus Circus. I wish they would specified that part better when booking. The room was clean and had plenty of room for our luggage. Above all, great experience for the money spent.
More Restaurant Options Needed.
The hotel price was inexpensive. The room was very comfortable. A lot of families with activities for the children.
It is a little bit separated from the rest of the strip. Overall the hotel is in need of a makeover. Loads of kids.
I Loved The Adventure Dome! &So Did My Daughter. All Day Passes When You Have Kids Are Totally Worth It! &They Give You Coupons For $5 Off When You Check In At The Front Desk
I Didnt Like The Fact That It Smells Like Cigarettes In The Casin But Thats Vegas For You!! LOL
Room was clean and comfortable. The rooms didn't smell like smoke!! Huge plus!! Surprised by the value of it. Would stay there again!
When we checked in we weren't given good directions for the parking. We were given just a general map and pointed out the door to try and find our building. Also quite a walk to other resorts. No shuttles offered.
Love the price hotel was clean and very accommodating
Didn't like the fact that they didn't have shuttles to the other side of the strip
Went to. Circus circus for a birthday. We had a three night stay all in all pretty nice. Stayed in manor room. Room was somewha t outdated and pool area a little outdated. However for the price and staff seemed nice all in all i would stay again
