Whether you are traveling for business or pleasure the Mardi Gras boasts one of the most convenient locations in Las Vegas. This Las Vegas hotel is located a short walk to all of the world-renowned attractions of the Las Vegas Strip and the Las Vegas Monorail. Best of all, for your convenience the Mardi Gras operates a complimentary "Strip" shuttle that also services McCarran International Airport daily from 7am to 10pm.
The hotel is inexpensive, clean, and has a friendly staff.
The hotel comes with wifi, however it did not work in my room. Also the television was snowy on all channels.
Cheap, payed less than $40/night. Room was clean & bug free
Some of the staff were friendly, some were not. Was told about cheap laundry facilities, but they not only didn't have a change machine, but the front desk clerk VERY rudely informed me that there was no laundry soap available. Advised me to walk to the corner store (20 minutes away by foot). For being one of the cheapest places in town to stay, I didn't expect to get much. But if all you're looking for is a place to shower and change, it was fine. Only about a 10 minute walk to Monorail, so if you're ok with walking a bit it's not too bad.
All I needed was a room with shower close to convention center
No hot water
good customer service
felt like a motel 6
My room was large with a fridge. Staff was good. Check in and check out was quick.
There were many things not to like: 1. Location was too close to the airport. Could hear the planes flying overhead. Very annoying. Difficult time sleeping. 2. Walls were paper thin. Could hear neighbors talking. 3. TV was not clear. And very limited channels. No ESPN.
ONLY ONE PERSON ALL STRESS OUT AND WITH A FACE OF NO FRIENDS! AT MY ARRIVAL I WAS CHARGE AN EXTRA EXPENSE?? I WAS WITH A DOWN LINE PERSON IN MY BUSINESS AND I WAS NO IN THE MODE TO ARGUE WITH A RUDE PERSON
The air conditioning worked well and was pretty quiet. The pool was pretty good, but was only open until 9:00 pm. The location was great for attending a trade show at the convention center. Most of the staff was friendly, but ineffective at fixing anything.
My shoes stuck to the floor. I spent 40 minutes scrubbing and prying little blue sticky crystals off the floor (no other rooms avail). There was an awful domestic fight above us at 3:00 am that we called in, hopefully before someone got seriously hurt. The pillows were terrible, like old decorative 16x16" with lumpy batting. Linens and cups were inconstant from day to day. Did I mention the cockroach?
Service, they charged my credit card five times after telling me my card had been declined!
It was super duper cheap.
The room was pretty dirty. There was something gross on the wall behind my bed. The bathroom had mold on the floor near the shower and the shower had very little pressure on our second day. The drain in the shower was clearly clogged as it drained quite slowly.
Smoke, smoke and more smoke! Went to eat in the hotel restaurant and had to leave almost immediately due to the cigarette smoke. We ended up taking our meal back to our room but had to shower and change clothes before eating due to the stench. I can understand the need to allow smoking for your patrons but you really need to have a non-smoking area for us non-smokers. Shower curtain was too small and water spilled all over the floor. A/C was so loud we couldn't sleep.
Bed was comfortable room was spacious
