Nice room for older property
Right on the Fremont strip
clean room, expected room amenities, availability of fitness room, excellent internet connection, availability of McDonalds in their limited food court which made grabbing a coffee on the go in the a.m. convenient. Not as many homeless loitering on premises as in the past years. Visible Security on the premises which was reasurring.
checking in / out, minimal staffing of 1 front desk clerk which led to a long wait in line of 20 minutes from the midmorning checkout. tight fitting bathroom. NO refrigerator. Resort fees! is a big ripoff. sneaky way of tacking on additional charges to the room rate.
Location was great.
Fridge and microwave in room.
Outdated but not bad
We had a good view of the city and the beds were comfortable
The heating system would come on every 40 minutes or so and would be really loud for a few minutes and then turn off. The sheets on at least one of the beds were clearly not changed as there was small wrappers tucked in between the comforter and sheets. The most annoying thing though was booking through kayak we were comparing prices and Getaroom was the cheapest option at $44 and they said you paid $0 at the hotel. There were other options that came to $53 with a $20 resort fee included but we thought maybe Getaroom had a special deal worked out where you didn’t have to pay the resort fee. Well we got there and they tacked on the resort fee so it was $10 more than what we could’ve paid. That was frustrating
Water smelled like sewage
The hotel it’s self was not terrible, nice style, cool location.
The staff was rude and unhelpful except for like 2 people, the water smelled horrible, tv was broken, they told us the hotel was sold out and we couldn’t check in early but when we complained (after completely unpacking) offered to move us to a different room.... and when we said we didn’t want to move because we were unpacked they were completely unwilling to explore any other options. Still don’t know how they were going to relocate in a sold out hotel....
Windows so dirty I could not see out of them
The lady at the roulette table
Pool was shaded ,no balcony
The hotel smells and it’s too old. I got charged too much for resort fees which was not mentioned on the notice. It was not worth the money.
The noisy air con
Quiet room. good staff. clean place. would stay again
in a bit of a shady area of town.....a bit noisy outside so bring ear plugs or white noise app
Clean, Confort and Budget Friendly.
Everything especially the Sports Book. The main reason i keep coming back to the Plaza is that you are 1 of 2 hotels left in Downtown LV that does not require a $100 security deposit for rooms. PLEASE.. PLEASE i urge you NOT to change that!! $50 is more than enough.
Better choices for 24hr food besides McDonald's and Subway.
