The bed was super comfortable
I arrived 2 days before the hotel was to shut down due to COVID-19. The only part open was the hotel. The TV didn't even work. I felt considering there was no resort type accommodations that charging a resort fee wasn't appropriate.
Room staff didn't meet expectations. Did not clean up our room.. didn't empty waste baskets. I called for bathroom products to be replenished, extra towels, remove trash from waste baskets. Pitiful
Pros-location on Fremont Street, McDonalds open 24/7 for after beer snacks, clean room, great view, quick walk through the casino to get out when we wanted. Small nice resort.
Never got new clean towels during our 4 night stay even after requests were made. Housekeeping starts EARLY (8:30am) and if we were still there they would leave but never come back. Our trash was never removed, no clean towels, nothing for the entire stay, again after requests were made. (I thought someone was supposed to open doors to check rooms every 24-48 hours now after 10/1) Security-one of the women with us had a man following her for the first 3 days & when he got to the point following her to the bathroom upstairs & coming out face to face with her, security was notified. Their response “we asked him to leave”......he was back less than 4 hours later! Security told her that her & her husband “could stay in their room if they were worried”. Inappropriate! The guy wasn’t even a guest, they were. They went to security with a security problem & were given the worst response. Such a joke.
Everything - was just like the American films you watch and more
Our room was non smoking, however there was the smoke smell lingering from the vent. Had to request for the “ozone “ treatment which got rid of smell for a few hours. Had to request for this every day. Also bought a plug in air freshener. It was noisy. Even though we were on the 33rd floor, but got used to it after the first couple of days, it didn’t spoil the holiday (which was a bonus).
