Gym was great
Room smelled like vomit in two different places as if recently cleaned up, and they didn't have the suite I reserved and tried to put me in a smoking room until I complained.
Spacious rooms Comfortable beds Included Pull-Out Sofa Location on the strip On-Property Dining Options
Byzantine shopping mall and hallways to access rooms
Property is well maintained. Restaurants are to die for!! And lots of choices as well.
Great Room. Very friendly staff.
Could hear conversations in the hallway and slamming doors while trying to sleep. Also, the fire alarm went off at 6 am by mistake.
Room Service came too early
check in took hours, hotel didn't respect our reservation. After waiting for them to sort it out, they couldn't put us up at the Venetian. ended up putting us up at the palazzo with no view although we paid for a panoramic view and booked with a legitimate booking venue.
Room was very clean, very comfortable. Entire facility was well kept and gorgeous. Wide range of options for food and play inside the hotel itself.
Not very well positioned relative to other locations on the strip. Absolutely horribly laid out, getting around within the hotel itself and its annexes was a constant trial.
Nicest room I have ever been in
Great location, excellent service from every person we talked too. The room was amazing, huge, clean, quite, what else can you ask for.
The rooms were very nice, one of the nicest I've stayed in.
Didn't win any money though.
The room decor, size and amenities.
Room was spacious, beautifully decorated, overall very nice. Would book again in a heartbeat.
The majority of restaurants were Italian - I understand this is an Italian resort but it seemed all restaurants had the same staple dishes - grilled fish (usually sea bass), a couple steak dishes (same cuts), chicken parmesan, a couple salads and done. It's all from Sysco and would have expected more original dishes. some signature dishes that differentiate each restaurant from the other....We went to Zefirino....got the seafood medley dish for 60, the veal marsala for 30 I think and the tuna appetizer for another 20 or 30.....we were satisfied with food. However, the ice bowl had fingerprints all over, the flowers on the table were fake...for a restaurant with 50 dollar dishes I would rather see nothing on the table. And as the waiter was pouring the sparkling water, he actually asked if we "would like some water to start, sparkling or still?"....he was already pouring it! I wish there was a bit more attention to detail. The room was great but the restaurant left some to be desired....
Clean, beautiful, excellent service. The free in-suite breakfast was perfect.
It was very loud when someone from a different room (likely above) was taking a shower or using water. We got used to it but it was shocking at first.
The carpet it is so bad
I liked the limited stay there. But I thought the hefty price includes atleast some of the shows inside the Venetian. But I have to pay for everything.
Rooms are spacious and well-appointed.
Room seemed to be poorly-cleaned - there was a fluff of dust when I sat down on the bed. The wi-fi in this hotel basically doesn't work (and of course they tack on that resort charge for it). It constantly kicks off my phone and laptop, and the reception itself is very poor.
Location, amenities, room
Some one swiped my key ring & keys between the car and my room.
The restaurants and Grand Canal shops, 2nd room amenities
The original suite given was dirty. We were promptly given another suite but nothing was initially given for the inconvenience. We had to ask for an upgrade or credit. One was given. Once in the new room, we waited 45 minutes for new room keys even though keys were promised within 20 minutes. 25 out of those minutes waited, a cleaning lady remained in the suite and refused to leave. We had to call the front desk and have someone speak to the housekeeper in order to get her out. We nearly missed dinner and our show due to the room switch and waiting for keys. I once again asked for compensation and our resort fees were waived. One huge problem I saw was the lack of a separate entrance to the adult pools. The same entrance was used for families trying to get to the kid friendly pool as was used for guests and non-guests making their way to Tao Beach pool. Lots of the people entering the pool area to access the adult only pools were drunk, and/or inappropriate (dress & speech). It was uncomfortable taking my 6 and 16 year olds to the pool because of the environment. This experience really diminished the classyness and reputation the Venetian once held for us. I had a chance to venture to the Palazzo hotel side and that seemed much better than the Venetian in terms of class and family friendly atmosphere (excluding the casino of course). We likely won't return to the Venetian because of our overpriced experience.
