The location was convenient to the various events we attended while in town. Our door lock was broken and we requested a new room. The hotel manager said they would "fix" the lock. The repairman tried to fix the lock and left. We were locked in the room. It took a lot of hassle to finally get moved to another room.
Very spacious rooms. Beautiful landscape. Friendly hotel staff. I liked everything.
No air conditioning..what hotel doesn't have air conditioning!!
Grounds are well kept, location great and the restaurant served a top rate breakfast.
Very friendly staff, quiet, garden environment-we had a downstairs room with glass windows looking on to the garden and pool. Very restful and a pretty setting. There was a large party going on in the convention center but it was not distracting nor disturbing. We would stay there again and would recommend it to others.
The room was clean and comfortable. the hotel has a very nice swimmingpool
It was convienent for the function we were attending. The room had a tub and shower combo, but no way to plug the tub if you wanted to take a bath. We have stayed here before and the room we had before had a refrigerator, this one did not. The TV was kinda small for a place like this one.
It was beautifully landscaped and very relaxing. We bought takeout for dinner and sat poolside. Rooms are comfortable and for the price it is an excellent find. The diner was an excellent choice for breakfast!
We were traveling through Visalia and needed a place for the night. The price is very reasonable. The hotel, although old, is well maintained, especially the grounds which are beautifully maintained. The hotel could use some updating, but it is an old style, Route 66 type facility, albeit it very large with very nicely landscaped grounds.
It's an older hotel but I would have spent an extra 10 to have a thermostat at a regular spot. Doesn't seem like they care about comfort. It could be a decent place.
Breakfast not included
The room was very run down. The shower had no water pressure to take a decent show. The shower head was so low you had to squat to try and wash your hair. The water knobs were falling apart. The door knob to the room wiggled and was loose, felt like if we pulled it shut it was going to fall off. The facility was clean but very run down. We were disappointed with our three day stay. Would never stay there again.
The hotel had all the amenities to make it a pleasant stay. The staff were courteous and friendly. The breakfast buffet was excellent. It was a pleasurable experience. Being 4 1/2 miles from town was some what of an inconvenience.
Very nice restaurant connected with friendly staff and great food Not much not to like, good stay
The bed. Nice and firm. The room was in a horrible location. It was stuffy and humid in the room. Never stay there if you want fresh air.
The bed was very comfortable. It was a great value for the money.
I enjoyed everything about it and would stay there again. Nothing
It was clean. We were given a room on the 5th floor unfortunately it happened to be right under the air conditioner compressor that's on the roof! There was not one moment of silence in that room it sounded like there was a large fan blowing in the room at all times! I called downstairs to make a complaint and they told us they were completely sold out and could not change rooms. So they put our name on the list to see if we could change rooms the next day. We were going to be out all day and we didn't want to bother waiting to move all of our stuff. Besides, I would feel bad giving that bad room to anyone else and getting stuck with it. My advise, DO NOT STAY IN ROOM 524!! Worst stay ever!
Bed was terrible old shower and bathroom. Over priced.
Housekeeping staff is very courteous and did a good job cleaning my room. The in house service for food was really good as well. There was hardly ever front desk staff so when I checked out there was no one present to give the room key to. A staff member happened to walk by and I asked and they just brushed me off and said I could leave the key on the desk. Also when I was checking in the front desk clerk was not too friendly.
Really clean, convenient, comfortable and quaint hotel walking distance to Subway, Jack in The Box, Walgreens, and several other restaurants. Staff was very friendly and the hotel was well kept. The kids had a great time at the pool which was indoor freeing us from the need of sunscreen.
Walk ability - super clean - spacious
The staff here is so friendly, and will go out of their way to ensure your stay is top notch. They provided us with a list of restaurants in the area, and what their favorites were, and answered all my questions. Room set up was nice too, when my daughter went to sleep, I went into the separate sitting area where there is a second t.v. So I didn't wake her up. Good value for what you get and close to everything in Downtown. The only downside to this Hotel is there is no pool or spa. We had to go to the Hampton Inn up the freeway. But it was zero hassle from the staff there to use their pool area.
Very noisy & slow elevator. Toilet seat not secure in the room or even in the lobby. Breakfast removed and/or empty before it was time to be over. Staff at front desk did nothing to get bathroom in room repaired during our six day stay. Told to try other floors and find a working ice machine - tried 3 floors before finding a working unit. Unsafe parking area - false sense of security with a gate to go in - yet public can drive in from a side entrance.
Easy check in, reserved parking, free breakfast. I was charged $25 extra upon check in I initially thought it may have just been a charge from the hotel for tax that may have not been included in the final kayak bill. But after reading my kayak confirmation and reading that NO EXTRA FEES OR CHARGES WILL BE ADDED UPON CHECK IN, I contacted the front desk and was told they couldn't do anything about it it was basically KAYAKS fault for sending them the wrong room rate and I would have to take that up with kayak. So I contacted kayak and was told that the hotel gave me the wrong information. Kayak sends the same conformation letter that I received and my room rate should not have been changed. They asked if they could put me on hold so that they can contact the hotel and get it straighten out. They returned rather quickly and said I should be receiving my refund and receipt from the hotel within a few days. So other than the hotel trying to get a few extra bucks from me. I really appreciate kayak and their quick professional manner in resolving the issue.
Love the pool, very nice The rooms had a funny smell. The hotel is older, needs new carpet.
Price for quality They Allow Dogs.
Nice facility, comfortable. Good lovation
Convenient It looked a little worn from the years open. New paint or something!
Nice rooms for a few nights. Somewhat close to Sequoia and Kings Canyon. Hot tub was shut down for the 3 nights we had reserved. One of the main reasons we booked besides being close to the national parks. The clerk the night I checked in didn't seem to concerned to get it fixed. He wasn't rude but didn't seem to care either.
Room good Bed ok Chewing gum chewing personnel Wifi slow
No in-room bath tube as shown in one of the pictures.
The room was very clean. We could not check in until 3:00 pm
Location and cleanliness The pool was cold and the spa was warm, at best.
Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Found used dental floss on bed.

Pleasantly suprised considering it feels like the middle of nowhere. Clean rooms and grounds. No complaints
The Motel was at the end of there remodelation stage and the room that I stayed in was completely remodeled with new everything. .Very nice room from what Motel 6 is usually known for. Didnt like that when I walked in to office clerk asked for my last name for my reservation and as im giving it, im cut off so that she can start a conversation with other staff member. She asked again, so I gave her my I.D. She walks off and starts talking to someone at counter about personal stuff instead of doing her job.... I went to sit down and waited for her to finish her gossip so I can get my room.
I was not expecting the room to be as nice as it was. Clean, it had a modern layout feel to it and a decent tv. Bathroom was comfortable and there was a pool if you wanted to use it. The parking sitch could have been better and the one way street it was on made it a hassle to get back to the room.
We spent one night there for $66 after a trip from Sequoia National Park. It was good. There are mini fridge and microwave in the room. The two queen-beds are comfort. The room was clean. I would recommend you to stay there. Check-in and check-out were quick.
Clean and brand new hotel great room, and front desk was very nice
No shampoo or conditioner
Quiet, close to restaurants gas stations and main freeway. Front desk customer service was ok. Housekeeper I ran into was very friendly, offered me extra clean towels. The NON SMOKING room we got smelled like smoke but we got used to the smell. TV was outdated and carpet was stained.
We appreciated the size of the suite, the comfort of the bed, the swimming pool and the fact that it was clean and there were enough towels for the two of us (including spcial towels provided for the people going to the swimming pool) The noise was terrible: the hotel is located right next to the highway. The breakfast was desgusting, so American: no fresh fruit, just greasy meet and artificial cereals. There wasn"t much choice and the few we got wasn't our taste.
Room smelled like Ben-gay
Clean, roomy, everything works, good real breakfast. Like everything
very peaceful, wonderful place after l long drive
I liked the Queen beds, the large rooms, fridge, microwave, continental breakfast, hot tub. The food supply for the continental breakfast was not kept up during breakfast hours. It appeared that staff felt irritated when I asked for more yogurt, coffee, etc. Also we did not get room service for the first days. We asked for more towels after all our dirty ones were taken and weren't replaced by clean ones.
Very clean, nice furniture, good lighting, good TV and channels. Bathroom was very clean and well appointed. Breakfast was excellent--food was very fresh.
very good location for next day visit in Sequoia Park; clean and comfortable room; very good breakfast
Nothing didn't stay got charged anyway Staff and ownet
Pros: Hotel was clean and safe. 24-hour check-in. Hotel had been renovated in the last five years (which you don't always get for a hotel in this price category). AC worked well (which was important; it was pretty hot!) Pleasant staff. Hotel is conveniently across the street from a Starbucks, sub sandwich shop, and many other convenient stores and pharmacies. Hotel is about 45 min from the Foothills entrance to Sequoia National Park. It's about 1.5-2 hours from the General Grant Tree, Lodgepole Base, Big Tree Museum, etc., since these are in the interior of the park. Overall, this hotel was only $65, and it was clean and safe, so you could do a lot worse!! Cons: Included breakfast was not too good. Unhealthy, starchy options; coffee was really poor. Also, this hotel is evidently really trying to save money -- there were lots of signs all over warning you of extra fees if you get the towels too dirty, or remove them from the room during the day (say, to go swimming in the many nearby swimming holes). They tried to save so much money that they unplugged every lamp and even the fridge during the day. This was frustrating when we came back to the room with sandwiches one night. We wanted to put them in the fridge to bring them hiking the next day, but the fridge had been unplugged and was warm inside, and would take many hours to get cool again. So we had to throw our sandwiches away. :-( Same thing with putting breakfast items in your room -- it's tricky, because fridge will be unplugged during the day.
Cheap, convenient place ... within driving distance from the Sequoia & Kings Natl. Parks. You get what you pay for ;-) There was some road construction just outside the motel - quite noisy but I'm sure that's just temporary
Quick check-in and check-out, fridge, free parking, free wi-fi, clean room. Although it is good, that there is an air conditioner in the room, it is extremely noisy. Room door was too thin and unreliable to give you the feeling of safety.
Nothing. It was awful!!!! Everything. It was really dirty, noisy and situated in a dangerous street.
Friendly staff. Nice swimming pool. Good location for 1 day visit of Sequoia and King Canyon national parks. Very close by walk to "The Hometown Buffet" (just cca 500 m), where are served every Friday and Saturday very nice steaks!
Close to the main roads, TV, Microwave & fridge available on each room Air-conditioning very loud, you could hear every step of the people in the room above yours, poor breakfast
The rooms were as expected, very clean and comfortable with great air conditioning.
I liked its location within the city limits , close to all the restaurants and other facilities. It was within walking distance of many shopping areas. The first two nights of my stay there were hotel guests staying there ., that made alot of noise both night , they were young guests , that started around 11pm and continued until after 3am , outside their rooms, laughing and talking loudly, keeping me awake. It was very disturbing and not very restful.
near parking swim pool area was dirty
The sheets were clean and the location was near the highway to Sequoia. The pool is not in service which was a huge disappointment. The owner said that the pool will be fixed in a couple weeks, but it looks like that water has been there for months. When we asked about a discount because the pool is out of service, we were told nothing could be done because we booked through a third party. This hotel should remove any mention of having a pool. Also, no iron is in the room. The breakfast is not anything special. Here is what was available: -waffle maker -bread and toaster -cereal -coffee -juice On our checkout day, we got a call at 10:45 telling us that checkout was at 11. At 11, housekeeping showed up and basically kicked us out. I would not stay here again. There are better hotels in the area.
Room is clean, although table is losing paint. Breakfast is OK. Close to many restaurants. The air conditioner is very loud. But I have to leave it on through night since it is hot. The lady in charge did not look very friendly.
Good location Bad cleanliness
Not much Was solicited by a prostitute staying in the room next to us, walls were thin and could here her with her customers all night long! Thank god our kids weren't with us on this trip!
Nothing The place smelled bad, its falling apart from the inside, the staff is completely uncaring and even though you call to make sure to verify information, they still manage to change it by the time you show up and change 20$ by the time you check in. The worst experience i have had in a hotel.
Location, availability, price Police (3 patrols) on site at time of arrival (Sat., 9:30p). Awakened 2am woman (clearly substance-impaired) pounding on late-arrival window (25 ft from my 1st flr. room) demanding mgr call 911 b/c "phone is dead", yells to him "I refuse to stay here" & wants him to "call me an Uber". 4am young man woke me by knocking on my door & fled when I opened door. After too little sleep found AM ammenities woefully minimal.
Clean Photos were not of this locations rooms or lobby. This Luton is much older and smaller. Lobby was closed before 830 pm so I had to check in through a window. Went to have breakfast at 9am the next morning and found a sign in the lobby that breakfast was only served from 730am to 830am. But since I was not allowed in the lobby the night before I had no way of knowing. Also, Over half of the tv channels had horrible reception. Also had a mildew smell.
One of the cheapest options. This was such a scary looking room. Walls were a disgusting orange and there was peeling paint every where. There was some sort of blood looking splatter on the ceiling and graffiti on the bathroom door. Some of the residents looked pretty shady too. Unless you're that hard strapped for cash I would urge you to stay elsewhere.
There is honestly nothing I enjoyed about this place I might as well write you a list: 1. Beds were dirty 2. The stairs are breaking apart 3. No elevator and I am disabled 4. No holder for toilet paper 5. Walls dirty 6. Windows dirty 7. Staff was rude 8. Sketchy people outside 9. Ice machine almost took my finger off 10. Pool looked like I would catch a disease if I swam 11. Was the worst part of my trip
Nothing about the experience was good Blood spatters on the door. Room dirty. Phone broken microwave had no door refrigerator broken and smelly. Asked to have it repaired and got yelled and cussed at. Asked to move and they said there no room and them refused to talk to me after. They need to be removed as an option from your website
The hotel is clean a little run down but clean, good location for downtown Visalia. People were yelling and crying all night and tweakers but for the price you can't expect much else.
The location was nicely in the mid part of town which gave us easy access to our destinations. I also liked the price, but will probably go a bit more expensive next time so I feel more comfortable with the quality. This place just seemed pretty dirty and it smelled musky or of mold. The bathroom was pretty dirty looking and feeling as well as the bedding. There was no sheet that wrapped around the corners of the mattress, just a normal sheet which kept sliding off, exposing the nasty mattress. There was no closet. I will not be staying here again.
I liked that it had 2 beds in 2 seperate rooms. And had a refrigerator.
The room was huge and spacious. Garaged parking was a first for me in a hotel. A few things: 1. Water flow in wash basin was minimal (but was fine in shower) 2. Internet was not working (it worked for first day and didnt work for next two, even after repeated call to the owner). 3.Refrigerator was not in good shape
This motel is surrounded by citrus orchards and cattle confinement pens located on the outskirts this small rural town about 13 miles east of Tulare, California. Don't expect nothing fancy about it. Rooms are very simple but clean. There is only one heater for two bedroom. I was bitten by mosquitoes all night that left me with several red itchy burning and infected spots on my chest and back.
refrigerator, microwave, Dinning area, a lot of drawers very weak shower, water was cold, no room clean for the 2nd day
No water pressure and water was luke warm at best. Very very old motel and a real dump!
The hotel was in a great location, and room was pretty well taken care of; certainly much better than I thought it would be. The water pressure was almost non-existent, I was almost unable to shower or shave, but made it work. Other than that (and the little spiders in the shower) the place was absolutely 100% perfect, and better than I expected.
Very close to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. The staff was available for late arrival and was very friendly. I purchased it because it was a budget hotel, and it met my needs perfectly.
The customer service was great here. They were friendly upon arrival and when our car broke down the staff asked if they could help us out somehow. They even helped us push our car onto the uhaul dolly we rented.
Motel was clean but spartan. Laminate floors are cleaner than crusty carpet. A/C worked great, bed was comfortable. Be sure to check out the historic murals in town. Friendly staff. Bathroom remodel looked to be poorly done. Room and carport have battle scars.
it was ok. Nice staff, clean room, and the garage was funny. the water was not really hot, but it was not so disturbing.
Located not too far from event I attended. In the shower area, no soap holder. Somewhat small shower stall and not handicap friendly.
Private little apartments-older but really clean, felt like a had a little house
