6.7 Good
Pros: breakfast was excellent
Cons: The room I was in was on the ground floor did not have a terrace as described in the room details. The house did but I was ushered down to my room with my pot of tea on a lovely sunny evening. There was a strong smell of damp in my room. The windows in the room opened to the driveway and I did not feel safe to leave them open for air on a very warm night as the house was in the end of an old council housing estate.

Pros: Loved our dinner in this beautiful historic home. The staff are brilliant and really add to the ambiance. We strongly suggest doing the dinner at the home as it is lovely food, but the way they manage it, you feel like the Lord and Lady of the Manor!!! We came for a family reunion and this just exceeded all of our expectations. Lovely, huge room, just remember, it is an historic home, not a modern hotel. Loved exploring the various rooms of the Castle.

Pros: Great value
Cons: Room was small
7.5 Good
Pros: The beds were really comfortable. The Housekeeping staff, Bar and Restaurant staff and Room Service staff were very professional, polite and friendly.
Cons: I had specifically requested a quiet room and had also paid for an executive room, unfortunately, the room was small and the couple next door were fighting screaming and throwing things around. When I brought this to the attention of the receptionist, her response was " there is nothing we can do unless either one of the people involved choose to make a complaint" !! I had to ask to be moved. Both executive e rooms had awful views seemed to be large bins?
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location good. Ample parking. Beddings super comfy. Very clean. The restaurant and bar downstairs with the bookshelf over the sofa, very classy. Good place to watch rugby live matches! The food in the restaurant, superb! Breakfast is buffet, usual stuff. Very grand foyer and stairs. Extra friendly staff.
Cons: We were put in the last room upstairs before the other exit doors at the end of the corridor. That room was hot and the aircon, if it existed, didn't work. Lucky it was autumn and we opened out the windows to let in the fresh air and all was well.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: I arrived on my birthday and the staff was the nicest I have meet in everyway, they arranged a little treat for me which was a surprise, nothing big but it was a lovely thought. A little dessert with strawberry and happy birthday written in chocolate across the plate. The bed was so comfortable and the food was delicious, the only thing I didn't like was the noise when we were having an evening meal, I was wanting a quite romantic meal with my husband but there was a lot of shouting going on with groups of other people drinking and noise was over the top, so I wouldn't recommend a quite romantic meal, but I would definitely recommend the food and the stay. Over all it was lovely. I would stay again but would go to a near by restaurant for evening meal. Top quality staff with friendly smile and helpful and welcoming in everyway. Will definitely go back
Cons: Far to much noise in evening if you are wanting a quiet romantic meal

Pros: Extremely comfortable bed. All the staff were fantastic. They went out of their way to provide a sandwich for my room mate at one in the morning.I liked the little bits of local history such as the railway photographs and maps. Reception and bar/ restaurant area had the feel of a busy station. There wad a good buzz in this place. I really liked it. Also food was very good and very reasonably priced.
Cons: Upwards step from bedroom into bathroom. Would have liked a biscuit with my coffee in the morning. No room service or snacks available from kitchen at weekends. However as my room mate was diabetic, the staff got a sandwich made for her at one o clock in the morning.

Pros: DoublevBed was comfy and good size
Cons: The spring loaded bathroom door is a bit of a nuisance. Could do with fitting to hold door ajar

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our room was lovely and in a perfect location. We were in a really close walking distance to the main town and loads of great things close by. The hostel were so accommodating and friendly. The value for money was amazing! We were unlucky to lose the hire car key in the town one day and the staff at apple hostel posted on Facebook about it and the keys were found and handed back in. We had already travelled home but the owner dropped the keys off to the garage for us which we were so grateful for! Thank you for a brilliant experience we will definitely be back when we visit letterkenny again. Jack and Rhianne x

Pros: Friendly owner, gave us good advice for a restaurant. Free breakfast.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It was lovely and quiet, the room was kept warm and there's a large window in the room I stayed in that let in lots of light. I was working long days in the theatre 3 mins away so having somewhere cozy and quiet nearby was exactly what I needed.
Cons: The only reason that I gave it 3/4 for facilities is that I think it's under minor renovations so things like sockets near the bed haven't been put in yet which would be useful for charging electronics for alarms or bedside lights etc.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly welcome, very clean newly furbished room .

Pros: Straightforward honest offer for the price. Very friendly staff. Great location close to the bus station and the High Street. Very quiet.
