Room is clean, spacious and comfortable. Nice view. Staff are friendly and professional. Near by places are closed for the Chinese New Year. We'll pick a different time next trip. Definitely stay in Sherwood next time. No self laundry facility.
entrance and lobby pretty fancy swimming pool is tiny!! and rooms are a little old
Very friendly staff who were more thank willing to help us in any way! Great stay
The breakfast buffet was not very good. Must of the hot food was cold.
Room was clean and classy. Service was excellent. Very accommodating in check-out time (extended to 3pm), which was a great help for me as my son napped in the early afternoon.
There's a bus to take you to and from the airport right to the hotel for approximately $3. It's convenient to get to the National Palace Museum, a fabulous museum of Chinese art. The restaurant is OK, but we enjoyed the club restaurant which is on the campus. This is a hotel catering to tour groups. We had a small room with nice bath, but it was on the inside so no windows. We used the concierge who went out of her way to help us but the front desk was less helpful.
It is beautiful, classy and full of history. But some facilities are too old and need updates. It took a long walk to get to my room. since I had knee joint problem, it was a painful experience.
delicious breakfast buffet ,good location
Right in the center of the city, metro & buses are close by and very easy to get around.
The MRT that's right beside the hotel. The furnishing of the room is too old and just out of date already especially compared to the up beat enviroment and atmosphere Taipei is surrounded with.
The hotel was good for the value. The wifi in the room was not secure.
First, for the rate Hyatt charges , the connection fee on internet should have been free or very minimum like many other 4 or 5 star rated hotels WW. \n\nI have used the Hyatt HK several times , same problem. The connection fee is even higher. \n\nAll other services are excellent. \n\nPlease be aware of certain $100 US bill.... some were not cashable with Taiwan Hyatt. I was told Taiwan has counterfeit on certain code of $100 US bills. Traveller checks and credit cards are much better. Best place to exchange Taiwan money is at the airport.
great location, close to MRT and HSR train ,great location, close to MRT and HSR tranin AC did not cool properly, could not get room below 72 f / /22.5 C, even leaving it on all day. big disappointment for me, when it is as hot and Humid as Taipei is.
This is a large boutique hotel, so you either love it or hate it. I loved it. It does have a dark look, but the quality of the interior is terrific. The detail in the room, everything from the desk to the venting of the air-conditioning is very well done. If you like to walk around, it's a little far from major attractions. The hotel was kind enough to arrange a cab for me anytime I needed it.
Great location. Friendly and helpful staff. Good food. Facilities - a swimming pool and a spa would be great additions
We will come back and recommend to all my friends
location, service, professional attitude nothing
Close to public transport. But the toilet can keep more close, we saw a big insects on our toothbrush when we back to the holel room. Same as above.
Great location, Large room with twin bed,
A perfect location - close to the shopping area and across the main train station. Expensive
Location was great, able to walk to so many things and taxis were cheap to travel anywhere a little further away. Room was very large in size (we did however receive an upgrade).
Have stayed here 3 times this year and have always found the staff courteous and helpful.
Very comfortable room The wrong English spelling on the welcome card looked very unprofessional for a 4 or 5 star hotel
Location was the only thing I liked. Looked totally different from the pictures on the website. The air conditoning was terrible. The room was cool but humid and sticky during the entire stay. Horrible.
connected to main train station and malls, street food outside hotel, comfortable bed Cold room, heater not working well
Good location to all the MAT station. A lot of restaurants are around. Equipment is old. No phone on the desk, but next to the bed. After shower, water is all over the floor - door of the bath tub cannot close. Not enough chairs for people to seat after check out - we ended up to pay $5 per person to have an exclusive room, but was so noisy due to the construction work was on going. They distributed newspaper to certain rooms, not to everyone. No enough light in the room One of the double bed is so close to the wall. Very difficult for the 2nd guest to get off the bed.
I like the convenience of the connection of the train station which can take you anywhere you want and also the nearby amenities and shopping area.
services the lack of facilities and choice of dinning places; expensive telecommunication and IT services
service was excellent, location great neighborhood didn't have stores that were of interest to walk to.
The staff lived up to its reputation as being both friendly and helpful. Also, we visited the Shangri-La while in Taipei and glad we stayed at the Landis. The other hotels had an industrial feel and totally impersonal. Will be returning. The only complaint was that the beds were a bit hard, but not a deal breaker.
excellent service, good but busy location.. buffet breakfast is not as good as used to be, compare with my last year stay.
I had updrade for suite room for 1 night, really lovely. Hotel modern with a delicious pastry in the ground floor. Staff really polite.
Friendly service, value for money, good sized rooms, with excellent facilities, well located for use of local domestic airport
Friendly service, great attention to detail throughout the hotel.
This is a very elegant hotel with a wonderful layout. The rooms were absolutely beautiful and very clean, with spacious bathrooms and a very comfortable bed. The staff were incredible. They all displayed high quality customer service and were extremely helpful, from getting us taxis to helping us find local places to eat as well as suggestions of where to go to see things in Taipei. The breakfast was very well organized and had a mix of western and Chinese food. One of the Manager's Johnny was very kind and respectful and always made sure that we were happy. The whole stay was amazing and would very highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Taipei. For the service and amenities this hotel offered I believe this was an excellent deal in terms of cost. I will definitely return to this hotel in the future.
Very clean - the most important thing I want in a hotel. Service efficient. Convenient to MRT - 5 minute walk, and public buses right in front.
This hotel offers little tv channels . Almost every channel is a bloody news channel. I will not stay this hotel in the future.
Location near the red line MRT is great! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Water pressure and temperature in the shower were both excellent--something that is often not true in hotels in Asia. Carpet in the room (#618) had spots on it. Definitely needed to be cleaned.
The hotel is lcoated on Chung Shan N. Rd. which makes great location.
I had great time staying here over the week of the Computex Show Taipei. It was a wonderful location. I enjoy the food the most. I will stay again.
Great location and the staff was extremely nice and helpful. I was on the 8th floor and there was a stale odor in the hallway. The electric toilet didn't work and the shower door leaked water on the bathroom floor. As for their breakfast buffet, while the service was great, the breakfast was disappointingly mediocre at best. They could have easily improved the quality, for example, if you're serving bagels and lockes, please have cream cheese available... and of course some sliced cucumber, tomatoes, and capers will be nice too.
