Turim Europa Hotel

1. Cleanliness - cleaning/housekeeping staff very good and pleasant. 2. Breakfast 3. Comfortable double bed 4. Kettle in the room with complimentary tea/coffee/sugar 5. Fridge

1. No sachets of milk to go with the tea/coffee. Went to reception to ask for some milk and was told that I would need to go to the bar. The girl at the bar insisted that I need to BUY a WHOLE glass of milk!!! I said I just need a tiny amount for my coffee but she was insistent that I buy a whole glass. Staff need to learn about customer service and going the extra mile to be helpful. What a difference it would have made if she said to me, "We don't normally provide milk, however I will give you a small amount enough for your coffee". Or suggest that I could buy a coffee from the bar. Instead I had to leave the hotel to find a cafe to buy a coffee. I noticed that staff do their "job" but are not overly friendly or welcoming or go the extra mile. It's all very "clinical". 2. Water bottles (small) were charged at €3.50 per bottle!!!! This should be complimentary. 3. Air conditioning not effective in the room. Overall I would say the hotel is clean and comfortable with a good breakfast. Regarding value for money it is overpriced due to the lack of facilities such as swimming pool, spa, massage, bar and entertainment. Customer service could be better.

I like the location. Pretty quiet and convenient. The bathroom is O.K. and the bed was good and comfy.

The room was very old, the TV is so small and doesn't have any, I mean ANY programs on english or other languages but portugese. This is international hotel and at least one news program is expected to be in English. Do not expect any help with your luggage at arrival or departure. You are not going to get it Breakfast is so-so... the worst thing is that the thing from the machine they call coffee is not coffee at all
