Excellent facilities, great food, beautifully appointed
Restaurant food it's just perfect. Just book the table for the dinner because it's really busy.
The location was good, convenient for the sightseeing we did. We had excellent breakfasts, I especially enjoyed the porridge.
The room and bathroom are on the small side, but I realise old pubs and large "city-style" bedrooms don't always go together. There was not a lot of space to accommodate all our stuff, but we note how the room is streamlined to encompass the en-suite, tea-making facilities etc.
Beautiful clean fresh bedroom, and cookies in a jar & bottled water in our room.... great breakfasts & staff very polite & friendly...
Evening menus are bit too pricey for location.... very fish oriented...
Definitely book a dinner here but even if you dont breakfast here is amazing! The local pub and traditional music is brilliant along with the views.
Due to pubs being close by don't expect an early night (if you have the windows open)
