The Wigwam is found in Litchfield Park of Arizona and is a full-service resort located on over 440 acres of beautiful landscape. The hotel fits right in with the surrounding Sonoran Desert. Built in 1918, it became a resort in 1929 for only 24 guests and has grown over the years to what it is today. It will accommodate every occasion whether it is a family vacation, business, or a romantic getaway.
The 331 rooms have been decorated with the Adobe style in mind and there are many to choose from. Between the casitas, suites and guest rooms, there is sure to be a choice for everyone. Colorful rosebushes, a variety of palm and citrus trees, and beautiful flower gardens are nestled around the rooms. The rooms were built and designed for privacy and exclusivity. Each room includes amenities such as refrigerators, coffee makers, an iron, robes, extra bedding, and WiFi.
Golf courses are a high priority at The Wigwam, with three championship golf courses that consist of 18-holes each and with plenty of golf packages to choose from. The golf courses are surrounded by the beautiful desert and includes streams, canals and lakes throughout.
Guests can have access to three pools which include a kids fun zone and two slides, cabanas and Jacuzzis, an activity center perfect for families, and a tennis court. Guests can take advantage of the fitness center, bocce and volleyball courts, and bike rentals.
The Wigwam Hotel offers many dining options for guests. There are four different restaurants and bars which provide cozy dinners at tables on patios, verandas or in the cool interior. All-time favorites such as soups, sandwiches, chicken and burgers are served in a casual setting at the Red’s Bar and Grill. In the Litchfield’s Restaurant, chef de Cuisine Jason Paterno shares his more formal dishes. Lattes and cocktails, as well as live music, are provided in the Wigwam Bar. Food and drinks are offered at The Tower Pool Bar and Grill as guests also enjoy the pools and waterslides.
