Pros: We apprecieted the Staff Kindness and the hotel location in the country side with a nice garden.
Cons: A room is too small for two persons and too dark in the day.
Pros: We were made very welcome, we had a good nights sleep as the thick walls meant it was very quiet. Breakfast was very good & they were happy to do an early sitting (06:30 Sunday).
Pros: Breakfast was served at requested time.
Cons: Requested change of room as original was dark and smelled musty. Alternative Bedroom was small and rather cramped and wash hand basin in en-suite was tiny !
Pros: Friendly and welcoming. Good centre for touring the beautiful surrounding countryside
Pros: The gardens of the hotel are exceptional, very comfortable. Owners excellent, very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Had a baby but due to misunderstanding hotel did not have a cot - this made it difficult to sleep in two single beds.
Cons: No wifi or internet access although advertised as available. Very small attic room with double bed that left no space between the end of the bed and the desk to get round to put luggage on the stand. Only way to put luggage in the corner was to heave it across the bed. No bedside tables. Unable to sit at the desk as the tv on the wall bracket was above the desk and in the way. Blind on sky light window broken so had to sleep with light coming in. No complimentary toiletries. Had to get tv re- scanned to get all channels. Not worth £50 per night.
Pros: Staff friendly and welcoming
Cons: Central heating in bathroom leaking, toilet seat loose not fitted properly. See general review below.
