FRIENDLY STAFF CLEAN ROOM / BATH FREECOFFEE/ DRINKS ;MOVIES
AMAZING & FRIENDLY STAFF!!! DVD Player in room & DVD Library in reception; Recliner in room; Pool; Breakfast
Everything, the rooms were clean, the staf was outstanding. I work at a hotel part time in el paso. And I have told everyone what a great place you have in Lomppoc Cannot think of anything that I did not like
Breakfast was good, coffee good, gluten free cereal, boiled eggs room very clean, staff was very helpful. I would recommend to friends, bring ear plugs Asked for quiet room, very few people there. We were staying for one nights, so we didn't want to drag all our stuff up stairs if we could have a quiet room. We got a room on first floor, told no one would be over us. About 9:00 PM it sounded like elephants over us. 1 adult, 3 children were put over us. For sure there was over 25 empty rooms. Get room on 2nd floor
All the little hospitality items: water/soda upon arrival and to go at check out, ice cream bars, dvd use, and... really, four (4) drinks per person at the bar?! It was a slightly higher rate than I normally pay, but all those extras make up for it! The buildings are a little worn, but were okay. The restaurant (for evening drinks and breakfast) also had a worn look to it.
the room was very old
Size of the room was nice, bed was comfortable. Front desk staff was very nice, and friendly. Always said hello when you walk through lobby.
The desk and housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and well stocked. The suite was a smaller than expected and the living room sleeping area was very cramped. The bathroom opens into the bedroom, not the common area.
Staff was trying hard. Dated, dirty, and dingy. The heater in our room didn't work, so we were brought a replacement. That also didn't work, so we needed another. The breakfast layout is ludicrous- ALL hot food is supposed to be handled by one cook, who had way more guests than he could handle. why not have sausages or hot potatoes in a buffet style so that people can grab those if they don't want to wait and in an enormous line? Won't be staying here again. Lompoc as a town is also awful!
The room was nice, the staff extremely helpful and courteous and we were very impressed with the cooked to order menu and chef.
Open Bar Happy Hour Good made-to-order breakfast needs renovation
It's a good place and located right in the center of Lompoc Our first room smelled so bad we had to change rooms. The second room was a little better but still had a bad odor. When we turned the Fossetts on there was a heavy smell of sulfur. We were later told that the rooms smell musty Because of the water.
We staid there because Solvang was sold out for father's day weekend and I found this hotel so the price was great so we gave it a chance and let me tell you was great, my kids loved it, The staff is very nice, the breakfast was delicious, the location it's great very close to stores and restaurants. We defiantly going back to this hotel on our next central coast road trip. Parking, give it that there is construction going on and there is a lot of storage containers everywhere, with that being said there is not a lot of parking lot even if you remove those containers, the pool supposed to be heated and it was not but we enjoyed the Jacuzzi.
New Facilities are very nice. The variety of food was less than the past. The happy hour was very skimpy. Staff was extremely accommodating and your night Security (Mike) was a gem. He made us feel very safe. Noise from renovation and lesser quality of food products was a surprise. I have been a guest annually for 30 yrs. and can applaud the renovation. It was long overdue. Your breakfast buffet should offer more choices of food variety as in the past. Seems like cheaper products are being offered to cut costs,
clean, the staff was friendly and helpful the bathroom had patches on the wall. it definitely didn't look new
Literally one of the worst motels I've ever seen. A complete disgrace. More like a low income housing project than a motel. After seeing our room and the creepy drunken drugged out people lurking around, we immediately left and I demanded a refund. Do not under any circumstances spend a night at this dump.
Quick check in and check out $96 when all said and done? Even with cheaper Kayak price... Only one full sized towel, and it wasn't clean... Beds were comfortable enough, but just not worth spending nearly $100. No wifi, unless you pay more. No breakfast... What are we paying for?
the Price The non smoking room smelled of smoke The rooms window was broken and letting in a draft. One of the bedroom pillows had a yellow stain on it. The microwave wasn't plugged in. There was a ground broken off in the bathroom outlet.
The bed is so hard I might as well have been sleeping on the floor. I woke up several times throughout the night because my body was hurting from the rock hard bed.
It was moderately priced. "Better not bring yo' kids". Cause it's pretty seedy. Also not as close to the Wine Ghetto as advertised. The price was ok, but honestly it'd be worth it to pay a couple of extra bucks and stay down the street where you don't have to worry about the creepy guy sitting in his car outside your room for hours on end.
Nothing - except the cleaner who apologized. The replacement person did an excellent job and made up for the assigned one. Room - old and crusty. Even though they had larger rooms, we were assigned the worst possible room next to highway noise. Didn't ask for change as we were tired. Bathroom was missing towel hanger or hooks, no breakfast, sheet covers were old and spoiled.
The bed was very hard
The rooms were clean and new.. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly.. Comfortable and great location to their world famous Pea Soup! See you next time Ian lreland CEO : Sola Design All was up to par and no complaints !
Clean big room. Soft towels. Breakfast pretty limited, but lots of nearby options
The room was large, clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was good. We decided to stay at Pea Soup Andersen's Inn because it was located 10 minutes from Solvang and 3O minutes from Santa Barbara. We saved lots of money staying at the Inn at Buelton. We were pleasantly surprised how nice our stay was at the Inn. We slept well. We liked having a frig, microwave and free WiFi and continental breakfast. Families will like the pool, putting green and bocce ball court. We will return with a group next time.
the weekend stay , and the great pea soup'' loved it''
I liked that the room was on the ground floor. It has back glass door that will lead to a mini putt. I love that is near Solvang, just a short drive. Had a microwave and a refrigerator. Lots of room to move around. The bathroom door was like a folding door, was very hard to lock the door. Room smelled funny..like a spray for the bathroom.
Very clean. Better rooms than expected. Professionally managed. Common facilities maintained very well -- especially the swimming pool.
Decent facility : clean, comfortable, convenient location. But, where's the Pea Soup??? Grossly inadequate breakfast :-((( I would have give it a thumb's up, if they just improve the breakfast to the level of The Best Western!!!
Close to everything, staff great, room clean and spacious, quiet, great for the price.
Everything was clean. Even had a little fridge and microwave. Could not figure out how to use the tv. Other than that enjoyed our stay.
Very good place.... Very well taken care of property.
Clean room, good size. Very good staff. The place could use some freshening and breakfast is just Danish
Bathroom sink wasn't working. The room smells of paint & varnish. No breakfast available at this hotel. Poor wifi connection. The hotel manager doesn't even open the door. I got the keys through a window and had to drop off the keys through the same wind.
I was excited it had a kitchenett , nice stove and nice full size refrig. The floor was so dirty that my white socks were black on the bottom. When I took a shower after walking from bed to bathroom my feet was muddy in the shower after walking on the dirty floor. Faucet broke on first night. TV stopped working too on 2nd-1.
there is strong smell because newly decorated
very nice and helpfull stuff
There was no hot water the whole stay. We had tried many times. My whole trip we took no showers. There was no ice machine. The blinds don't keep the light out of the room and large amounts of light entered the room the entire night. I woke up at 2 am and thought it was morning until I looked at the time. Also no soap in the room not even to wash your hands.
It is very close to Solvang. The inn was clean and the staff was friendly. The free breakfast was nice and provided cold items (yogurt, breads, cereal, milk, juices, fruits, etc.) and hot items (pancakes, oatmeal, waffles, eggs, potatoes, sausages, etc.). The only complaint was that when walking through the hallway, you can hear occasional snoring/loud talking. From what I noticed, you can't hear those noises from inside the room.
Tub was leaking
Newer bathroom, clean room, nice location close to everything in Los Olivos and Solvang. Free breakfast, with bacon, egg, potatoes, pancake, and waffles. Don't have expectations of a 5 star hotel and you won't be disappointed. Staff was friendly and very accommodating. Everything was as expected. No disappointments.
Clean and convene the location
Learning about the history of the hotel and getting a tour of most of the other rooms. Very limited number of restaurants available in the vicinity.
We had a wonderful experience. It is easy to drive by Los Alamos without realizing all that this sleeply community can offer. The exterior of the mansion can mislead you to believe that you are entering your great grandmothers home with white linen & lace about the entire establishment. This could not be further from the truth. The interior of the mansion has hidden away six fantasy rooms for adults & children to play. We stayed in the Gypsy Room, Jacamo & his wife Dolcynia sleeping in a cart in the wilderness. Equally as inpressive was the Priate Room where you were teleported into a seen from Priates of the Carribbean or Horatio Hornblower. Each room was more impressive than the next. Diane, the manager, was as accomodating as can be. Next time we are in the neighborhood, we'll make sure we simply don't drive by hidden treasure.
My wife and I lived in San Luis Obispo for several years and made frequent trips down to San Diego to visit family, so we ended up driving past Los Alamos countless times. Never did I expect to find such a charming place just off the 101. The Victorian Mansion exceeded all expectations. We stayed in the 50's room, but got to see some of the other rooms, too. Each one s lovingly and meticulously crafted to transport you someplace else. The manager was so incredibly kind and helpful, and pointed us in the direction of one of the best restaurants we've ever been to. All in all, this was an amazing experience. Absolutely well-worth the cost. We're actually planning on making this an annual destination.
We were the first group to 'take-over' the hotel since it re-opened under new ownership. We stayed there 15 years ago- it's WAY better now. Each room has been redone top notch. The beds are VERY comfortable and the rooms extremely clean. Rob (new owner) was accomadating and freindly and let us enjoy ourselves fully throughtout the mansion. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a group getaway, that way you can enjoy all of the rooms. We stayed in the 50's room. The Cadillac bed is sooooo soft, we kicked back and watched a movie on the projecter screen with old drive-in speakers and all. Brings back fond memories of the old drive-in days. Very cool!!
The owner was wonderful. Our only disappointment was were thought we booked the French room but we didn't and were put in the 50's room. It was still wonderful, and as I said, the owner was wonderful. The 50's room was fantastic, however, it has a very small bathroom. I am 5'-11' and I had to stoop. The shower was also very small.
Rod, the new owner of this unbelievable victorian mansion, has spared no expense in ensuring that your stay here will be a memorable one. The rooms are so unique. Impeccable attention to detail fun but not corny each room is a delight complete with sound effects and custom themed beds and very deep jacuzzis. You can actually sleep in a 1950's Cadillac car while watching a drive in movie in your room! Disneyland on steroids! It is a very romantic setting too. Do not miss this fun opportunity, a must stay at.
The pool was closed and we wanted a pool for the kids. We didn't know when we booked.
We had 2 couples sharing a room, and reserved a room for 4 adults, with 2 beds, and early checkin. We got to town at 10, to find out our room was not abailable till 3 PM. We also Got a room with 1 king bed, and we're given 1 twin cot to suffice. We were given a restraint credit, but that's like saying "here, pretend I gave you something, but just give it back to me." We won't be stayin here again.
I like the location and the idea that these folks are trying to save the Americana Style Motel. I am sure they think they are improving the place but they aren't offering the basic, simple, comforts that wouldn't cost them much at all and would have people raving about the place.. King size bed came with only 2 standard size pillows that were as hard as a rock. The minimum requirement for a king size bed would be 2 king size long pillows and 2 standard pillows that are softer to sleep on. The flat screen TV came with Direct TV but no remote! So if leaning against the hard wooden make-shift backboard on one standard pillow wasn't uncomfortable enough - you also have to get out of bed to change the channels and the volume. REALLY in 2015? Only ONE bedside lamp next to a KING size bed. So if you are 2 people wanting to read or write you would have to share one side of the bed. These are easy fixes. So, looks like just pure negligence. I am sure this can improve. I hope it does because then I would come back and I would tell my friends.
