Clean hotel - under £100 in London. Small room with an en-suite. Kettle, TV, fan (we were having a heat wave), PG tips, milk/sugar, comfy bed - everything was clean - can’t expect much more for the price. Right by the station we needed for an early start, and convenient.
You get a code emailed to you for self check in- it gives you a code to collect your key card - but the box already had the code on it - so someone else could have taken the card. We collected whilst reception was manned so not an issue, but could have been if we were later.
It wasn’t the room I booked in the photo. Everything was dirty unless broken ripped A cigarette end was on the bathroom floor. Out side the window rubbish and broken clutter. The worst thing was two pubic hairs on the sheet. NEVER AGAIN. I wouldn’t stay there if you paid me. And this is the first time and the last time I will book with this company.
The room did not turn out as we expected. It was extremely small, the bed had some sort of wheels and kept moving around, the bathroom was so tiny you could barely use it, and in many areas (including toilet) it was quite dirty. Finally, no air conditioning in the room (although for clarity the service had not been featured), which made everything even worse considering the heatwave. I have been traveling around the world both for leisure and work for over ten years, both in comfortable and arranged situations, but this was a great disappointment and definitely not worth the £ 103.50 for one single night.
The location is great, very close to Russel Square, near restaurants and supermarkets. The room was comfortable and clean.
Everything, too warm, smells, tiny, nothing like pictures, a sliding cupboard for a toilet, ridiculously narrow staircase
