Breakfast was not included. I very much liked the location, a few steps away from the Tube Station and within easy walking distance of Kensington High Street. And the street the Hotel was on was quiet at night.
The furniture was run down and worn out. The carpet did not seem very hygienic, I had to "learn" how to flush the toilet, the shower was a miserable little spray going in all directions.
Nothing about that room was likeable
No tv no kettle it was simply a small room with a bed absolutely disgraceful for the price
The staff were lovely and accommodating upon arrival. Both women were very helpful and more than willing to help with any questions I had in regards to not only the accommodation itself but also the area. When ordering food certain staff members even provided me with service to allow me notification of arrival and when leaving the building allowed me 24 hour service for set Uriah purposes and safety as my particular room was on the second floor - leaving the lights on upstairs until everyone was in safe. And staff were present in the room next door to the reception at all hours - this made me feel more secure. I was provided with a tour of the breakfast area and told I could have free use of it for tea and coffee upon learning I had ordered in food for my room. Very accommodating. Alongside this the price of the stay was extremely low!
To access the building itself required awaiting staff upon reception instead of key codes/personal keys which meant ringing a door bell - for this reason I did not venture into the area as late as I had previously decided to for fear of staff not being in or potentially awaking other residents (unsure of how the system there may work in consideration of said doorbell...). This may be something to consider updating. My room was rather small but due to my late booking was the only one available - however, I had no actual issue with this. Perhaps a thicker duvet may be my only request in consideration of this room however.
Very friendly staff. Bed was quite comfortable.
It was a bit dirty here and there but on the whole it was okay. I didn’t like having to leave your key at reception when you left and that the main door was locked. The first night someone was trying to come in and rang the bell for like 15 minutes before staff opened the doors.
