I only loved the receptionist an Algerian woman.
Dirty, old forniture, Beatles and uncomfortable bed. I finally slept in a friend house
The location was excellent, and there was very little outside noise so I slept well. The room was very basic but this is reflected in the price. The staff were good and for a weekend of sightseeing and dining the hotel is ideal.
The room wasn’t particularly clean and was a little tired but it still wasn’t too bad.
The hotel is very close to the tube station.
When we arrived, we left our luggage in the breakfast room. We came back later to check-in and we wanted to pay by credit card, but our card was denied a couple of times (which was strange because we paid everything by card). We had to pay by cash and we were given our key and the staff didn’t ask for our passports or ID. We did not worry because we thought they would ask for that the day after, but they didn’t. Anyway, we went to the breakfast room to take our luggage back, but the door was closed so i had to go back to the reception to ask for the key. Our room was very tiny and it sure wasn’t a Triple. We had two single beds and the third bed was more similar to a camp bed rather than a real bed. There wasn’t enough space for us to move and also the bathroom was very very small. Also, the bathroom door kept getting stuck and we had difficulty opening it. The next day something strange happened: when we came back from our sightseeing, there wasn’t electricity in our room. I went to the reception to report the problem and they told me to try again, I did but nothing happened. I went back to the reception and we discovered that they had cut the power to our room (weird). We tried to spend very little time in the hotel because everything was very bad, including the staff (they were very unfriendly). I didn’t enjoy my stay and we paid too much for what we were given. I do not recommend this hotel AT ALL.
Great location. Clean rooms. Nice bed linen and sheets.
Carpeting on stairs is old and worn
Location is just perfect! 1 min from the tube, many restaurants ans supermarkets nearby. Friendly, clean and safe area.
The hotel does not have a "Do not disturb" sign (very basic!). Rooms got cleaned after asking not to clean them. Room space is bad organized, no interior design planning, big old furniture block the small space. Breakfast was very poor, small room too crowded, we ate somewhere else. There was no way not to pay for breakfast.
