We had wonderful service from front counter service to calling and asking for extra towels which (Ryan) was so pleased to help! Staff was very friendly and helpful
It did have a lot of amenities and included a hot breakfast. Staff at the front desk was nice. It is aging a little and wasn't super clean.,It was aging a little and wasn't super clean.
The room was pretty clean. There were a few areas missed. The first day I returned at 5pm to find the staff just cleaning my room. The next day I returned at 4:30p to find my room was not cleaned at all. Maybe they were short staff? They have a small indoor pool and a small work out room, but both were empty when I was there. I feel the hotel is over priced for what the offer.
checking out and checking into the marriott down the street stayed 4 nights; service provided in the room on 1 day; had to repeatedly call front desk for fresh towels; clean cups; it's a party hotel for CU football games; if you're a family, stay away from this hotel.
Outdated and dingy. Elevator did not work. Staff called the place a "piss-hole".
This place is pretty run down.
I woke up and saw a bedbug in the folds of the sheets. I was able to kill it and positively identify it as a bedbug before bringing it to the front desk. They switched my room for the last night of my stay, but travelers should be aware of bedbugs in the sporting wing of the hotel.
The front desk staff was great Slow elevator and the interior of hotel was dated
Comfortable beds, good breakfast, nice staff, the hot tub is hot now (last time I stayed it wasn't), nice extra blankets. TV takes about 30 seconds to change channels, the heater stopped working twice, and they had no towels in the pool.
The staff was nice and the breakfast was better than most. The kitchen was dirty. The bathroom had black mold on the wallpaper. The exhaust fan was spinning but obviously blocked.
We went for our son graduation at CU in Bolder Co. the service was excellent, the personnel very attentive at all levels and assist us when requested. We like Residence Inn and must of the times we try to stay in this hotel.
staff is very friendly no

The room is studio. It feels like you are staying in your own apt. The location is bit far from any object atraction.
The room assigned to us was great. Fit my family well, king bed and hide a bed. Free Parking & next to bike trail Pool was smaller then the pictures made it look.

I liked everything, it was clean, nice, convenient and friendly. Kind of a ways from the interstate with traffic but other than that no complaints!
Large studio with kitchen. Very comfortable bed. GREAT lighting over the vanity. I did a 1:00 am checkin and the staff was exceptional. Offered snacks from the kitchen since I had been on the road for hours and local restaurants were closed. Located by busy highway. The traffic was louder than normal.
The hotel staff were very friendly and willing to make our stay a great one. Nothing.

The happy hour was nice. My husband and I ended up getting a handicap room by accident, so there was no tub and the shower flooded the entire bathroom. The room smelled musty all night as a result of the wet bathroom floor.
The swimming pool, water slide, and little frog slide were great. My son loves it, we had to physically remove him to go. He is 2. We took turns going down the slide with him. There is a lifeguard on duty when the slide is open. The breakfast was good, they had biscuits and Gravy, pancakes, and then everything else you usually see if free breakfasts. The hotel was clean and family oriented. You could see the mountains from our window. It's close to many restraint options, with lots of variety from bar food to Chinese food to pizza delivery. The soap in the bathroom is bath and body and smells really good, it's white citrus. There are many channels on the tv, with HBO so we never ran out of movies. Beds are comfy. Our room did not have a mini fridge. I wish every hotel room had this. For how much we paid for the room, I assumed we would have one. Also, my blow drier only worked for a minute and then stopped. I couldn't get it to start again.
Awesome old building, with good food and drinks. Lotta stuff to see and do with in walking distance. Super nice and helpful staff as well. Little spendy, but a cool place none the less.
I enjoyed the ambience of the hotel. The accents in the room were very nice and make staying at this historic hotel very enjoyable.
Location was excellent; staff was very courteous and professional, surrounding were very historic. Nothing
The hotel could not be better located. The restaurant was reasonably priced, though we just ate there for breakfast. It had the modern amenities with the feel of a historic hotel. The have a small fitness room, but you can work out for free at ONE Fitness which is a two block walk.
Loved the elevator! Loved the old music playing! The staff was friendly and attentive. Great valet service. Restaurant was yummy. And the Corner Bar had a nice selection of good beer. Didn't find any fault.
This place is awesome - Closest lodging to the Boulder Downtown and more than accommodating. Would recommend for Business or Pleasure stays.
The bed was wonderful. We also like the decor and location. Room service was good. Wall paper
I can still remember my last stay. Staff was not friendly.
Kind and attentive staff
The view of the flat irons was great. Location was awesome. The hotel was both modern and charming. The furnishings were nice. Second vanity and sink outside the bathroom. We did not drive (because we knew parking would be limited and expensive). Although I would have expected a pool given the price, there was a lot to do in the area. Everything we wanted was within walking distance. We like room service. However, the one breakfast we ordered did not come with any condiments (salt, pepper, butter, jelly). The woman who delivered the food did not make any eye contact (although she was perfectly polite). We did not order room service after that. Also, there is no table on which to share a meal in the king room we had. One person had to sit at the desk on the other side of the TV console, so we could not even see each other while we talked and ate. A little TV tray for the other wing-back chair would have been nice.
Loved the turn-of-the-century decor - stained glass ceiling in the lobby, original 1900's caged, operated-by-a-person elevator, fireplace in lobby, original safe behind the front desk etc. Loved the location right in the middle of downtown Boulder with access to shopping, restaurants and the beautiful trail beside Boulder creek. Staff were delightful - as the hotel wasn't full, they upgraded us to a suite, so the 3 of us had both a living room and a bedroom in the historic side of the hotel. Perfect. Enjoyed a perfect dinner in the hotel restaurant. Had to eat breakfast at the airport. There was a coffee pot in the room, but not really a convenient place to grab a quick breakfast. It would be great if there were a coffee shop either in the hotel or next door. Some of the antique furniture in the room really needed to be re-upholstered. But the feeling was very turn-of-the-20th-century.
Hotel is wonderful, with great character (it's on the National Register of Historic Places). Staff are very friendly and appropriately attentive without being intrusive. They addressed me by name after 2 days. The hotel had a water leak in another room and the room in which I stayed had a musty, damp smell to it as a result.
Friendly, helpful staff. Everything in working order. Sent to an already occupied room at check in. Quickly resolved with another room
Nice guy working register, got me in fairly quick Room had nasty stains on ceilng, reeked of chemicals but somehow missed the 3 foot streaks over one bed
main floor clean beds and linens, helpful staff too much road noise, breakfast could have more healthy varieties.
The room with 2 queens was large. The beds were comfortable and this room was very clean. Breakfast was basic fare but good. Some road noise but really not too bad considering our proximity to a major thoroughfare.
Friendly staff Price
You get a great room for the great rates. We had the King Suite so I was hoping for a better view, but it wasn't that bad. Just a covered pool and fallen leaves.
Location to where we wanted to go. Room cleaning service was spotty and only half of the front desk people we spoke with were very good.
The location and the value of this hotel were good. It was very quiet. Everyone could find what they wanted to eat at the morning breakfasts. Also, the staff promptly attended to an issue we had with another guest (they were smoking [weed] in this non-smoking hotel). For me personally, the beds were too soft. After a week, my back gave out. Luckily, there was a massage and acupuncture place across the street.
Everyone was very nice, and took good care of me. Nothing
People were very nice and helpful. Great to have complementary water bottles available!
Friendly staff. Good location in central Boulder. Walls were a little thin.
Newly built, very well designed room Sectional sofa, have guests without making them sit on a bed. Lots of shared space on the ground floor Proper DirectTV with Program Guide & 10 free premium channels Whole Foods 1/4 mi away Empty mini-fridge Twinings Tea in-room $10/day parking. A couple of quick train passes overnight (earplugs on the nightstand, but I didn't need them).
Friendly staff, very clean rooms, loved the layout of the rooms and how big they were, had a beautiful view of the mountains, comfortable bed, overall very pleased! There really wasn't anything we didn't like, even the parking was reasonable
Upon entering the parking lot, the was an entire windowpane cracked and duck-taped on the ground floor. Already nervous, entering the lobby was worse. It was dirty and smelled. There was no one at the desk and when the clerk finally arrived, he became agitated when asked about safety and the window. We politely explained that a single young woman was going to be staying alone without a car and the broken window was concern. The clerk became threatening, would not refund our reservation and followed us out to the car and stayed in the parking lot until we drive away. We ended up having to pay another $150 for a room and still have been refunded the Travelodge booking.
I have no complaints about the hotel except that it was a bit farther from Pearl Street and campus that I was lead to believe in the description. However, since we did take a taxi to and from the areas, it could have seemed longer because of the horrible construction traffic. The hotel, although, not fancy had everything I needed for a short or extended stay. I would stay there again if the price was right (and it was!)
Hotel was convenient to all our activities. Room was very clean and the beds very comfortable. A rental car is essential if you do not have your own transportation. A bit further out from downtown and Pearl Street area, but still very easy access to everything. Would definately stay again.
I've stayed at several different hotels in Boulder and this is by far the best. Not quite the best location for the University but very clean, comfortable beds and nice staff. My first choice when visiting Boulder. Draw back is it is a little removed from main area but within 5 min. drive to many places to eat, shop and movies.
Very comfortable. Easy in and out for one night stay. Clean. Staff was accommodating. Good value for price. Located near shopping, Target, restaurants.
This hotel worked out so well on our first trip, we stayed there again. Really enjoyed their cafe for breakfast (something as simple as oatmeal became a little special with assorted dried fruits and nuts to mix in). The hotel is nicely appointed, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Free newspapers, coffee and computers in the lobby 'business center.'
Hotel was very comfortable. Enjoyed the indoor pool and it was very clean. Room was good size and beds were comfy. The room had a balcony which is hard to find these days. Enjoyed having morning coffee, evening glass of wine and just the pleasure of letting fresh air in, loved the balcony!!!! The breakfast area was nicely decorated, spacious and created unique spaces for all different situations. Food was excellent, health conscious and affordable. Staff was accommodating.
A little ways from Pearl St but a solid overall choice for staying in Boulder. Clean rooms and friendly staff.
I recently stayed here for a local film festival and was very pleased. It is located right off of Foothills Pkwy (Highway 157), so it was easy and convenient to find. It is also only five minutes from lovely downtwon Boulder and maybe seven minutes from the University of Colorado campus. The staff were very friendly and even remembered my name the next morning! The rooms are spacious with very large TVs. The lobby looks recently rennovated and is decorated in a very chic modern style, and the food at the little cafe is pretty good. I stopped by the pool and the hottub, but did not get in. We also used the laundry facilities, which are convenient and reasonable. Overall, a great place to stay. Next time I'm in Boulder this will be my first choice.
When I saw the Pearl Street address online, I had mistakenly thought that the property was CLOSE to downtown - IT'S NOT. It's out on the very outskirts ..did I say out? You are not within walking distance of anything....\nI had some Marriott giftcards that I planned to use to pay for my trip - $800 worth. When I checked in, the hotel did not know how to process the giftcards, and didn't know who to call. They told me that I would have to put the room on my credit card, until they figured it out...which pretty much ruined our stay as I didn't have an 'extra' grand on my credit card - since I also had a car rental on it!!! To me, there was no excuse - they should know how to process their own gift cards, and not have left me 'high and dry' for 7 days. They did comp me breakfast (whoopee...$10...) for 2 of the 7 days.....
Everything was excellent, healthy breakfast and very well served.
This property has recently been redone & we loved the clean modern Zen look. All the amenities for travelors are there from email to printing out one's boarding ticket & more. We extended our stay so we didn't need to move.
I liked the premises Even knowing my sister was going to be on the same room later on the same day, staff removed my belongings from the room and evidently they lost my beloved cap. When coming back from work I found out my luggage and things were on a room behind the lobby. I was on a hurry to catch my flight and didn't even bother to mention it to the attendant. Now I'm telling you
Cleaning lady was always able to get my room clean even if I left the hotel late in the morning. Breakfast was quite good. Key always worked. Minimal need for help from staff makes for a good stay. Excessive noise in halls after midnight in halls on Friday, Saturday & Sunday. Sounded like a frat party was going on. Did not figure out there were several movie channels in the 500 channel range until a couple of days went by. It would help a lot to get some sort of guide sheet. Mattress felt a bit hard and made it hard to sleep.
A clean room with a comfortable bed in a good location.
Rooms were comfortable and clean; common areas were very nice; good restaurants and shopping nearby; only 10 minutes to CU Boulder Bistro seemed very slow and understaffed, especially in evening; popular items on breakfast menu were only available until they ran out of what they had prepared ahead, so get there early; mattresses were too hard and pillows too soft
My wife and I slept very well the first night. Easy access to the toll road and to Lafayette. The options for breakfast were very poor, even though you're being charged separate from the room. Being disappointed we walked out at first, but then returned for the most minimal breakfast: bagel plus coffee/tea, with the idea that we'd follow that with a proper breakfast later and elsewhere.
Staff was great. Front desk lady super friendly and accommodating. Made you feel welcome and very helpful. Good coffee. Basically in a truck stop area but not a big deal. It was convenient for what we were doing and could jump on/off I25 easily. No elevator so had to lug lags up stairs. Not a problem for me but others may not appreciate. Am sure they would get someone to help.
