3. Second car was an "upgrade" but it too was not clean.

Reserved Car Online - No Car Available.
Pros: One of the three places I reserved a call with, of the 3, called me quickly to say they did not have a car.
Cons: I reserved a car online at one of 3 area Enterprise locations. They did not have a car. Neither did the other Enterprise locations I reserved a car with online. Two places did not call me to inform me they did not have a car. If you can reserve it online, there should be a car available. What is this, an airline??

Car broke down
Pros: I eventually got a new one
Cons: Bad attitude when I called to ask for a replacement.
No ability for help when I was potentially stranded at night on a highway.

Great but pricey
Pros: Great service, excellent car.
Cons: It's too expensive for me to be able to use this service very often. I'd probably use Uber or Lyft or the bus system next time.
Pros: We were very happy to be able to rent this vehicle in Boulder and return to an Avis outlet in Denver. We were also very pleased to receive a Ford Escape rather than the sedan that we thought we would get.

Great customer service reps - Great value for money
Pros: Customer service reps at this facility are awesome. Friendly, excited to be work, and very energetic when engaging with all customers who were there including myself. Pickup and drop off was a breeze and all charges were accurate. Got an awesome rate on a mini-van for the week and would be back here in the second for future rental needs.
Cons: Vehicle was a little more dinged up and dirty than expected but this was a minor inconvenience overall.

They wouldn't bring me another car
Cons: On October 14 I hit a deer. Was able drive to hotel that I was staying at. Talked to the people at Hertz hoping they would bring me another car since I was one hour away from the nearest Hertz and had no means of getting there. Colby Kansas didn't have any taxi service.

Cons: They charged me a lot of money and I don't know why... First 171 dollars, then 385, then 76... It's too much...
Cons: well, it's my own fault I guess but I did not check ahead of time when the rental place closed and I got there 1 minute after my drop-off which also was the time they closed and they were already gone! I called their # and got transferred to the main hub. I explained to (the kid!) that was on the phone with me and I was told that this particular store was not an "after hours" store and I told him that there WAS a key box on the outside and that I had put my key in there but he couldn't tell me if I'd get charged for another day or not! WTF? There should be some kind of standard for that. Seems to me this kid did not know his job. I regret not getting his name and asking him to put a note in with my rental that I dropped it off in time and that they left EARLY!

It worked, but below expectations
Pros: The car was ready and service was quick
Cons: Something had spilled in the trunk at some point, and the car smelled rough. Tires were acceptable for the summer, but not for driving in the snow.

Downgraded with no remorse
Cons: Bait and switch. No upgrade offer or comparable car within 100 miles? Still waiting to see if they honor the price, although I should get some kind of response for the downgrade.
