Our room smelled terrible.
That I'm not there! The desk clerk was rude. It was as if I pissed her off just because I walked in. The reservation was overlooked and I was 1st sent to an un-cleaned room. The next room the door wouldn't open and the room we stayed in had a ripped and dirty love seat and the bathroom light worked sporadically. Should be renamed Americas Arm Pit.
Nothing The room had spider webs in the corners, cigerette burns in the sheet, the fridge didn't shut and the toilet didn't flush. Thankfully we just needed a place to rest for a few hours. Will NEVER stay at another one again!!!
The owner/manager took the time to walk us to our room and explain the air conditioning, lights and TV. Very helpful and courteous.
We were welcomed by the manager with open arms. He was very accommodating and helped us with everything we needed. The purpose of our trip was an over night trip on the C&O tow path. The manager arranged for us to leave a car at the Inn for 2 nights before we arrived. NA
bed was really comfort, and room was really cleaned. owner is so kind and friendly. great value for stay here. free breakfast. i could not use wifi, it was not just working. no connection.
The manager, Abi, was readily available to answer any questions and assist in any way he could. The rooms are very clean and functional. It's not a luxury hotel, but it certainly served its purpose. The only negatives I can think of would be the pillows and towels. The pillows are on the small side and there are only two on each bed. The towels are thin and rough... But I would definitely stay again!!
