10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property was fantastic! So nice the whole way throughout!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: They provide you with killer TV, very modern bathroom, and the perfect breakfast to be out the door to the airport in a hurry.
Cons: Only thing I’d like is a top sheet. Might be an American thing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I booked this stay as a need to stay somewhere last year (In 2017) but quickly changed my view when I saw how amazing this cottage is! My friend and I were greeted immediately and before talking Business was offered tea, coffee, or champagne. After receiving the tea, he sat down with us and outlined all the restaurants and bars in the area to try and ones to stay away from since it was a holiday. On top of the holiday there was a rugby match going on so it would have been hard to find a place to sit down and eat or have a beer. I was very satisfied with my service and given the opportunity to stay in Dublin again I would choose this in a heartbeat. Thank you rose cottage!!!
Cons: There was nothing in control of the cottage that was in satisfied with the weather is another comment.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Fabulous continental breakfast. First class accommodations and host!
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Our host, Dan, exlemplified the term. This was our first day in Ireland, and we felt utterly lost. Dan reached out to us before our plane even left home, asking when he might expect us. We had an email dialog that helped us use the public transportation system to reach the B&B. He let us drop our luggage off and explore Dublin while waiting for check-in time, then showed us the best bus routes to take. In the morning, he cooked up a great Irish breakfast for us to get our day started. About the bed, we took it for granted. It was a nice, comfortable mattress, which we wished we had for the next two weeks. It seems comfortable beds are not common in Europe and the UK, so it was a real luxury to have had our first night after a full day of travel at Rose Cottage.
Cons: It is a bit outside of Dublin center, so the bus ride takes about an hour...if there is not a hurling match happening.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Good view from bedroom. Breakfast/snacks was very well thought out and bed was comfortable.
Cons: N/A
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful property- gorgeous room, decor and all the little touches were fantastic. We really appreciated all of the snacks & drinks, Netflix and toiletries. Easy to find, easy parking and super quick to get to the airport from there. We were warmly greeted upon arrival and given tips on how to get food since it was late.
Cons: Nothing. It was fabulous and I’d recommend it to anyone.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The in room snacks & breakfast chest was over the top!!

Pros: Bernadette and Andrew were incredibly sweet and very welcoming. They thought of everything and were very accommodating. Strongly recommend if you like that personal experience and having a place that doesn’t feel so much like a hotel. We sure did!

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely traditional Irish breakfasts. Comfortable rooms. Very friendly and accommodating hosts.
Cons: We were satisfied with our short stay here. Public transport is not near the B&B so could be a problem for some guests. It wasn't for us.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were there just overnight before going to the Dublin airport the next day for a flight home Attlee 2 weeks in Ireland. The hosts were very attentive to our needs, gave us detailed directions and a map for getting to the airport. I loved that we were able to order breakfast the night before so our food was ready when we arrived in the dining area.
Cons: I can’t think of a thing...everything was very nice
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent bed, hosts, breakfast, location.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Jimmy and Mary, the breakfast, and the grounds were wonderful! The place is adorable, but you need a car to get around (which we had). I loved the stay and would stay again :)
Cons: nothing!
7.0 Good
Pros: The owners were very friendly and helpful with directions and choosing a dinner restaurant. The location couldn't have been better for proximity to the Dublin airport.
Cons: The only downfall were the beds -- they were really, really uncomfortable. They might have been fine for children but not for adults. It was our last night in Ireland and we had to get up early to catch a flight out. I don't think either one of us slept much at all. Too bad, because the place looked lovely.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was wonderful. We only stayed for one night before an early morning flight, but in that short time, Mary and Jimmy made us feel like part of the family. They are very friendly, communicative, and helpful hosts, and I would love to stay with them again, for longer! Thanks for the breakfast items in our apartment, too!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and helpful hosts! Great location of looking for something close to airport/Dublin but don’t mind not being in the city. Fantastic breakfast! Lots of extras in the room - fruit, tea, jams, butter, biscuits, etc. Cozy room.
Cons: Thought when booking the family suite it had two separate sleeping spaces. But all beds were in one room, so just something to be aware of.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Superb hosts
Cons: Nothing it’s was fantastic

Olive and Henry are very friendly and hospitable and gave excellent advice. We also had a brilliant time at Malahide Castle which we would highly recommend.

Overview Reviews
Situated on private mature gardens. Only 5 minutes from Dublin Airport and 20 minutes to Dublin city, the picturesque town of Malahide.odern family run B&B ideal for guests looking for the Irish experience with private parking.||Comfy ensuite rooms.
6.0 Good
Pros: Cathy is a kind and well-meaning hostess. She kindly called a cab when asked. She seemed attentive to her guests. There seems to be a bus nearby which takes about 30-40 minutes into the city-centre, depending upon the time of day. The price of the room(s) is commensurately less expensive than in the city-centre. Close to the airport.
Cons: The property needs updating and perhaps a deep-clean. There was some red mold in the shower stall, which might be acceptable in one's own home, but not in a hotel or B&B. If the window treatments in the breakfast area are not replaced, they also could use a cleaning. I was well-aware that it was going to be a haul into Dublin city-centre from this property. And while it is close to the airport, a cab or private care is necessary as I don't believe there was public transport available to the property.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great people. Close to Dublin. Very close to the airport.
6.3 Good
Cons: Host seemed quite concerned to collect money right away and we hadn't even brought our luggage in yet. Made us feel she didn't trust us to pay.

Cons: Nothing, it was all great.

Pros: Amazing comfortable beds and pillows and a nice room. Warm, helpful and friendly staff. Lovely areas to sit and relax including Jameson’s bar.

Pros: Location was relaxing

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful beach with great views from our room
6.5 Good
Pros: This resort is situated on a spectacular property with unparalleled views. Our room was nicely appointees, very clean and quiet even though there were a couple of major events. Upon arrival the person at reception was snobby and did not even offer to have our bags brought up to the room and honestly acted as if he was doing us a favor by checking us in. We had traveled from Killarney and were dressed very casually and it was apparent that we were very under-dressed--not a place to stay if you want to be casual and laid back. The staff, especially, Emma, at the restaurant where we sat for a drink, was courteous and very friendly. We ordered room service and to be frank the food was awful--cold and just not good. Beautiful spot but with room for improvement.

Pros: The grounds are nice and there’s lots of parking. The soap smells nice.
Cons: For the price I thought our deluxe room just average and the breakfast OK. I’ve had a better breakfast and more comfortable bed at a Premier inn. There was nothing wrong, just a lot of money for what we got. We needed to be in Dunboyne so it wasn’t fine but would be disappointed if we were going for a treat.
9.6 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were excellent, we were having a surprise birthday party and the staff not only kept our secret but even joined in on the secrecy and provided additional entertainment. The following day when we were all checking out, the manager came over and offered us all a fair well coffee free of charge in the lounge. Excellent location, staff and service.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The whole hotel was lovely . FOOD STAFF ETC Great
Cons: Didnt like that they charge you to use the pool even if your staying as rooms are pricey enough and the down fall is that there is no pool for kids etc
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast options were good and it was very quiet. The bathroom was great with seperate bath and shower. Hotel very quiet overall
Cons: Check in was slow as we arrived at 4 to be told the room was not ready. Sat in the bar till 7 and still no one had told us it was ready. We eventually found a staff member who told us to go straight up?
6.3 Good
Pros: Room was spacious and clean
Cons: Most of the staff were quite ignorant. Got my food served to me burnt and nothing was done about it. Not worth what I paid.
6.7 Good
Pros: The location
Cons: That some staff were not very friendly.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel was perfect
3.4 Mediocre
Pros: The reception service was nice.
Cons: The room was dirty, the bed had several stains. We asked for a change of room, or, at least, a change of duvet; neither of these changes happened. The room furniture was old. The walls were paper walls, you could hear EVERYTHING which was happening around you.

7.1 Good
Pros: Location and staff . History.
Cons: Deceptive advertising in that the no breakfast was not stated clearly and concisely on the internet site .(Informed) It was an immediate turnoff that we did not expect and turned us off which was unfortunate as we are mild mannered people who had high expectations .
