Pros: We loved the garden, the friendly staff, the layout, the cliffs and cliff jumping, good mix of alcoholic drinks(Razor the best), rooster showed us how to break open almonds, Beezy the dog was awesome, so relaxing great mix of shade and sun.
Cons: The fruit could of been riper for breakfast, air conditioner kept turning off, could of more juices. Thanks ! Great experience we loved it and would recommend!
Pros: Staying in a pillar was a unique and beautiful experience. The outdoor shower was especially nice. The staff were all exceptional, especially the roaming lifeguards. The best place to jump off a bridge into the ocean.
Pros: service was fantastic staff very helpful positive energy all good no complaints I plan to return can't beat the view or location
Cons: no microwave to warm up the leftovers
Pros: The location is breathtaking. The staff is welcoming. The cottages are peaceful and comfortable.
Pros: Everyone was really nice and accommodating. The view is more gorgeous than I could have imagined and swimming in either the pool or the ocean was great. We got a couple's massage during our stay and it was also wonderful. Also beezy (the dog who lives at the resort) was super sweet and cute
Cons: The bed could have been more comfortable.
Pros: Fabulous cliff top location, and safe places to jump in for a swim. Multiple little ocean side patios with comfy loungers and hammocks - great spaces to while away the hours. Delicious meals, attentive staff, nice decor touches in the rooms. Small-ish facility that feels quite private.
Cons: Was disappointed that the aircon in our room was not working when we checked in. We only noticed it as we were settling in for the night, so spent an uncomfortable first night. (We'd had a long day of travel and the fan in that room was just not enough). We flagged the problem first thing in the morning and it was repaired within a few hours, but I feel that when a guest is paying $325 US for a night's stay this should not have been an issue in the first place, and the inconvenience should have been acknowledged in some way - even a token complimentary drink or lunch would have been appreciated. The occasional slip-up is understandable, but "making it right" is a management judgement call and they missed it on this one.
Pros: We really enjoyed the accommodations and service at this hotel. From the moment we checked in, we were upgraded by the desk staff from a garden view to an ocean view room. The food was absolutely AMAZING!!!. It was made fresh to order and delighted the tastebuds. This hotel is within walking distance of the famous Rick's Cafe. I can't say enough about the service provided by Owen, Malcolm, and Leroy in the restaurant. Even though the property doesn't have the amenities of a five star hotel, the service is five star and then some. The setting and scenery is beautiful off of the cliffs. It really helped us unplug from the daily grind. Let's hear an applause for Tensing Pen!!!
Pros: Beautiful property on the cliffs. Me and my husband got married here and it was just amazing. We did not have our family or friends with us, but we never felt alone. The staff made us feel welcoming and showed attention at all times. Special thanks to Crystal who organized our wedding before and after the ceremony and to Charlie and Debbie (?) , frequent guests at Tensing Pen, for frendliness. Hope to come back soon ❤️
Cons: There is nothing to dislike.
Pros: Staff was stellar! Wonderful people
Cons: Having to leave
Pros: Loved staying on the cliffs and listening to the sounds of the ocean.
Pros: Spectacular cottages on the cliffs. Lulled to sleep by the sound of crashing waves.
Pros: Gorgeous!!! Each area has a lot of privacy. Character and style. Quiet and chic retreat from The tacky areas and hotels.
Cons: Honestly, our stay was so fabulous, that none of the comments I will really mattered. Could have had shuttle service to the beach. The dinner menu wasn’t great. I think they would benefit from having a less chi chi dinner menu, more casual, because they attempted fine dining and while lunch and breakfast were great, dinner was not delicious. But we didn’t have the heart to tell them because the staff is so lovely and accommodating!!! The only issue that we had was that we reserved on booking.com for a couple with a child, but for some reason on their side the booking said it was only for 2 adults. Our room was so small that there was no place to put a bed for our son. But in the end, we loved the place so much that it didn’t really Matter.

Pros: Everything, our 15th year!
Cons: Nothing, it was great!
Pros: Lots of fun acitivities especially the catamaran sunset sail. Guests were mostly middle aged which was nice. The resort is not huge so you can get everywhere quickly. Even though the resort was almost full it didn’t feel overcrowded. The food and drinks were very good. The majority of the people we met were repeat guests.
Cons: Room had a damp mildew odor when we arrived. After the air ran for a day it was better
Pros: Staff very friendly and helpful. Quality of food and drink good. Lots of food and drink variety.
Cons: Entertainment needs updating too quiet in evenings. Shuts down too early. Could do with a coffee shop.
Pros: The property was gorgeous, very clean and well kept. I loved the natural greenery everywhere. It created a lot of shade while walking to and from your room.
Cons: The staff wasn’t very friendly. Especially the wait staff. They weren’t rude but they did not go above and beyond like previous resorts where they were working for their tips. I don’t mind giving a few dollars here and there if it means the staff will treat me friendly! And this doesn’t go for all staff. Just some.
Pros: Relaxing by the pool
Cons: Couple of staff members were not very helpful must have been bad day
Pros: The beach! Adults only.
Cons: Maybe more variety for dinner and breakfast.
Pros: The beach is very nice and close to all rooms. The pool is very nice as well and even closer. Drinks are free and very good. Red Stripe only except in the piano bar which served Heineken as well.
Cons: Rooms are NOT beach front as advertised, but rather beach view as the buildings are perpendicular to the beach.
Pros: no kids is huge beach is spectacular very helpful and cheerful staff, well trained, right down to room maids security presence maintains safety great weather every day surprisingly good on-site medical care
Cons: my wife loved the food, but i'm not a foodie, and it was hard to find simple food to eat -- skipped half the meals the resort felt small by the end all inclusive watersports doesn't include the fun stuff (parasail, tubing, jet ski, etc) not much to do in the evenings -- the resort "activities" are lame and loud (kareoke, 80s night, etc)
Cons: Property need maintenance. Spa dont have air condition on massage room Rooms not clean Pool small Nude part look like a jail Look awful
Pros: Our room was very comfortable, the food choices were plentiful and wifi better than expected.
Cons: Nighttime activities could of been more varied. It was a bit quiet after dinner.
Pros: Where do we start. Staff amazing, cleanliness 10/10, resort 10/10. Spa is just outstanding, so relaxing. There is no faults, this was our fifth visit and we will be going back for sure.
Cons: Longer dive times & seperate dives for advanced divers. Although we loved it and the team were brilliant. Most of the dives were for open water divers, which meant more experienced divers missed out on some deeper dives.
Pros: The property is centrally located in Negril and very easy to navigate. The Couples staff organized the best New Years Eve Party for all the guests. The hospitality was extra ordinary. The staff valued their jobs and the quality service required to ensure that all guest under their care are treated with respect and each guest’s needs are immediately taken care of. WOW we had a great time and will return. Big shout out to the staff at Couples Negril. We loved our vacation because you made it so worthwhile!
Cons: The digital images are still being sold on CD and not just emailed to guests. This needs to be modernized.

Pros: Very clean and the scenery is beautiful.
Cons: I like everything
Pros: You need to play music at the pool
Pros: this hotel fell short in every way
Cons: upon check in we were told passports were needed but there was nothing in Bookin.com to confirm this the hotel receptionist was half baked and unhelpful - also there was no salt and pepper on the table at breakfast nor was it confirmed what we could order in our deal - we were served tea with no milk and had to ask this took 10 minutes to arrive - we also had a server hinting that he was waiting for a tip as he was due to go off shift soon
Pros: Food was very from Zest restaurant The bed was comfy Nice balcony for eoom Beautiful grounds... With mini farm
Cons: The shower was not enclosed... Misleading information for paid meals Bug infested pool
Pros: The Cliff Hotel is paradise!! Beautiful hotel rooms, great/friendly staff, wonderful views, spacious rooms. Excellent food!
Cons: Wish I could have stayed longer.
Pros: Never felt crowded, amazing staff. When do the pictures on a website get exceeded when you arrive? Hardly ever except here
Cons: Too short of a stay! I wish they had a floating bed in the water and an easy way for poor swimmers to get to and from the bed.
Pros: The property was exceptionally clean and the view was absolutely amazing.
Pros: The staff was attentive and wonderful.
Cons: Advance payment process was cumbersome.

That is why the resort houses the Miniclub, which is a resort-sponsored activities space that is open from 9:00 am to 11:00 pm. Here, kids can engage in a number of activities based on their age like crafts, games, painting, video games, and a children's play park. Of course, all activities are supervised by a trained staff member. Naturally, adult guests need plenty to do as well. Grand Palladium Jamaica has adults covered as well with amenities like an aqua-gym, water polo pool, minigolf course, archery range, three tennis courts, two volleyball nets, one basketball court, a soccer field, ping pong tables, and an18-hole golf course that will take players throughout the island. As for dining options, there are 17 different quick-service counters, restaurants, and bars on the resort property. These range from El Agave, a dinner-only Mexican eatery with fantastic margaritas and regional specialties to Lotus, an authentic Asian-fusion restaurant that offers sushi as well as other flavorful Oriental fare.
Pros: This place was really awesome. I can honestly say I had no complaints. Staff was really professional, courteous, friendly...you name it. I would definitely be visiting again as well as recommend it.
Pros: The resort was beautiful. Grounds were kept in excellent condition. The staff was very friendly. They also had a lot of entertainment.
Cons: Food in the restaurants was not good. Buffets were good. Room service horrible. After the second day they would not answer the room phone and I had to use my cellphone. Also room service took 1-2 hours to arrive.
Pros: Breakfast was always great, different variety of food. Met every hunger you can think off.
Pros: Everything good
Cons: Food could be a little better but ok
Pros: Everything was great especially the SPA
Cons: WE experienced a lot of noise on where we were placed first, however this was resolved when we were shift to another location.
Pros: The stay was wonderful. There was always something going on so there was no time to be bored. It was a great experience.
Cons: Some of the shuttle guys were very impolite and rude. The waiting time for them to come after a call was longer than they told us and when they did come they would drop you off a distance from where you wanted to go.
Pros: We got married at the resort and all the staff was incredible, fun and professional. The resort is beautiful. Perfect.
Cons: The romantic honeymoon dinner was disappointing
Pros: Breakfast was well thought out and sufficient. The location of the resort was awesome as well. The food at the specialty restaurants could be better and the rib eye steaks could be thicker and not 1/4 inch thick.
Cons: The ice machine in 39 block of the Lady Hamilton side does not work and was not fixed after being reported more than once. Also my fridge in room 3904 was not working proper and was reported multiple times. Had to settle for average temperature beer the entire trip from my room.
Pros: Excellent location on beach Fridge well stocked Large comfortable room
Pros: Pool, access to central locations, exercise staff at the pool
Cons: Mouse and cockroach spotted at two different restaurants throughout the stay. Some of the customer service positions could use additional training.
Pros: It was clean
Cons: The food in all the restaurants was not very good, the staff was rude, the air in the rooms was on a timer, so it was times the room was very very hot! The refrigerator in the room was broke

Pros: Beautiful ever staff nice food good
Cons: I like everything
Pros: weather and swimming pool
Cons: service food location activities rooms....
Pros: The service and staff at Grand Palladium were undeniably excellent!!! They were polite, accommodating and very attentive to our needs. The culinary staff were friendly and provided impeccable service. Ricardo and Andrew, chefs, went above and beyond to ensure that our culinary needs and wants were met!!! I highly recommend this hotel.
Cons: Could use more live entertainment at night. Some of the amenities such as the pool close earlier than expected...6 pm.
Pros: It was great.
Pros: The staff was awesome
Cons: It’s far from most excursions...but plenty to do at the resort
Pros: Love the facility entertainment staff. Excellent they catered to everyone. Kept to their schedule More staff was needed in the dining facilities. They were frequently understaffed although they did a great job
Cons: Dining facilities staff worked so hard however they need more staff
Cons: Lots of unfriendly staff Room had bad a/c
Pros: 1. Continuous activities for all age groups 2. Shows every night 3. The actual staff very nice and most time attentive always with a smile 4. Food choice at the various venues 5. Tours available offsite 7. Spa
Cons: Overall poor quality of room Moisture problem within the 2 rooms allocated Ventilation within the bathroom poor, an underlying uncertain of moldy smell Towels never truly felt dry Poor room service Wait time for service / item on menu not available for consecutive days No elevators so be prepared if you select a unit on the 3rd floor Peoples skills should be from top down/not only for the immediate staff that you would meet Appears short staffed- frequent apologies for services/items not available Furniture/telephone seems old /bathroom tiles in poor condition or not being cleaned in accordance For the amount of money that this resort ask for per night I say you can get better/same for significant less $$$$$$$$ at another resort Prices at spa way way too expensive Why a facial is $289 US
Pros: Lots of options for food n fun. Older place but well kept. 3 beaches gave options.
Cons: Power went out in room couple times every day. Several staff were crabby n NOT in a hurry to serve or please. Unsold is for an ocean view at checking only to find huge palm trees blocking our view.
Pros: Cleanliness, food at private restaurants
Cons: Service was poor and buffet was underwhelming
Pros: The breakfast and location was excellent. Good food, pleasant staff, large portion and selection.
Cons: The furniture was too much for me outdated.
Cons: It was only 5 days. I wish I could have stayed longer.
The Caves offers its guests exclusive access to several amenities. One of these amenities is a concierge at the front desk who's ready to offer aid and guidance whenever necessary. Other amenities include access to a restaurant, a bar, a lounge, and a spa. This hotel also offers free parking so that guests can keep their vehicles on the property. There are several pools through the property and free high-speed internet that enables visitors to surf the web from their smartphones and laptops. There's also laundry service, room service, airport transportation, and children activities that may be useful for families on vacation. The staff here is multilingual and the property is entirely smoke-free. The Caves offers nine different room options. Every selection offers different features and conveniences, but every single one has a minibar, air conditioning, nightly turn-down service, and Royal Hut bathrobes. The air conditioning enables every guest to remain cool and comfortable during their stay. The minibar gives visitors the chance to indulge in their favorite cocktails with family and friends. WiFi, mosquito nets, and fans are included in every room, too. Thanks to its location, The Caves puts guests next to many popular destinations. For example, restaurants like Ras Rody's Roadside Organic, Kool Vybes Bar & Jerk Centre, Ivan's Bar & Restaurant At Catcha Falling Star Hotel, and The Lodge Restaurant at Tensing Pen Hotel are all within walking distance. Similarly, tourist attractions like One Love Bus Bar Crawl, Barney's Flower & Hummingbird Garden Jamaica, Rick's Cafe, and Negril Lighthouse are just minutes away. The Sangster International Airport is nearby as well.
Pros: The location is lovely, no beach obviously but a lovely sea to dive into from exactly what you expect, caves, and many to chose from! You're given absolute free roam of the place to enjoy. There are only 12 rooms so it never feels too crowded either. Help yourself drinks as well as bar, pretty lovely dinners as well. Very comfortable beds, nice relaxed spot in Negril.
Cons: Having booked an upper sea view cottage room, all pictures of this room type showed a balcony on booking.com and i was disappointed on check in to see we didn't have one and mentioned this immediately. The staff agreed with me the pictures on booking.com are misleading and this is not the first time they have received this complaint. So just to let you all know, only the 2 bedroom cottages have the little balcony looking out to sea, and as always, special requests to this hotel should always be a room with the most unobstructed view of the sea!
Pros: The views are unreal, the staff is excellent, the food is delicious, the drinks are strong & the rooms are clean and comfy!
Cons: Nothing! It was perfection
Pros: Amazing location and view.
Cons: No drink service...must walk up to bar everytime
Pros: Staff is on point. Facilities are beautiful and well maintained. Location is breath taking
Cons: Nothing really to improve
Pros: Everything was amazing!! We will be back every year , highly recommend to everyone!
Pros: Amazing views. Fun cliff diving. Ocean front cottage. Friendly staff. Unique. Secluded. Delicious food. Comfortable bed. Safe area.
Pros: Loved the service! The staff was awesome. Big room. Great food. Spectacular views.
Pros: We loved our stay here. - charming rooms and exclusive: only 14 rooms + a villa - super nice and friendly staff: say hi and get to know about Jamaica - water activities: they have snorkeling and kayaking available at the property for free. Tip for Mgmt: get a small boat for the Caves and organize outings on the water for guests - local ingredients used for food - cliff diving on property
Pros: Staff were GREAT! Food was delicious! Resort was amazing, intimate and romantic!
Cons: Everything was great, although a couple of days they cleaned the room very late, after 2pm. I recommend NAME TAGS for the staff. Although the resort is intimate, remembering names is a bit difficult.
Pros: Everything and then some
When you stay at Idle Awhile Resort in Negril, you'll be on the beach, a 1-minute drive from Seven Mile Beach and 6 minutes from Bloody Bay. Featured amenities include a computer station and dry cleaning/laundry services. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Our housekeeping person was great. Staff were very courteous. Love this tucked away place!
Cons: We had a wonderful Garden view room however, we did not have a telephone in our room so each time we needed help from the front desk we had to use our cellphone. We had an electric kettle and teacups and spoons in our room but no form of teabags or tea stuff to make the tea.
Pros: Large room great bed prime beach location
Pros: The location is great. Right on the beach. And the resort is smaller than most of the neighbouring resorts which makes for a nicer more personal and less crowded experience. The dining area is outdoors on the beachfront. One of my favourite parts of the day was waking up and eating breakfast and looking at the sea. Prices for breakfast reasonable. For $7.50 you could order a filling breakfast. We ate one lunch there and found the portions to be a little small, but the quality was excellent. On arrival we were given new water bottles which we could have filled with filtered water to take with us to the beach. This was a nice touch. Towels were provided for the beach and the hotel sun loungers were very comfortable. The room was well maintained and very clean. The gardens are well maintained and beautiful.
Cons: Breakfast not being included in the room rate. They should have this an as option. There were a number of air-conditioning units right below the window behind our bed and on the wall of the neighbouring building. At times it sounded quite loud.
Pros: The location
Cons: When I booked I saw the room with kitchen and I was in a room without it. I’m attaching the photo. Tv didn’t work and the rate didn’t include breakfast ( I knew that) however I’ve stayed in different hotels on the seven mile beach cheaper, with more amenities and they include breakfast.
Pros: Location, Friendly staff
Pros: Food is always fabulous . Location. Everyone Staff and guest very friendly like family
Pros: We stayed in the one bedroom villa with the garden view and it was heavenly. It was steps away from the beach and the restaurant, which was very convenient and also very quiet. This property is nice and small, but you are in the middle of everything on 7 Mile Beach. The accommodations are beautiful and they have provided every convenience. The kitchen is well stocked and it was nice having a full size fridge, with a freezer for ice, a microwave for left overs and a hot water kettle for afternoon tea. There is also a french press in the room for coffee. The bed was very comfortable and they had a nice assortment of pillows ranging in size and firmness for our comfort. The restaurant was great for breakfast each morning. We did wander down the beach to try different places for dinner each night. Charela Inn is next door and they have excellent live entertainment a few nights a week, which stops around 10pm. The staff were all so nice and accommodating and they treat you like a new friend. The beach is beautiful and cozy, lots of shade. We will definitely stay here again.
Cons: The only thing missing was a towel rack to hang our wet bathing suits and towels outside. There is so much shade here (which is wonderful) but our wet stuff did not dry very well on the patio.
Pros: NB This review applies to HIDE AWHILE, on the cliffs because although the Booking.com website allowed us to book two nights at Idle Awhile, on the beach, we were then contacted to say there were no rooms available for one of our two nights so we would either have to move hotels after one night or stay both nights on the cliffs. In the end, with the hotel's help, we changed the booking and stayed both nights at the cliff hotel. Huge apartment on two floors with excellent views of pool and sea as well as gardens. Two balconies to sit out on. Good AC. Nice bathroom (and outdoor shower). Well equipped kitchen (full marks for providing an Italian stove-top coffee pot AND a French press AND an electric coffee machine!), huge fridge and decent stove etc. Lovely pool. You could jump off the rocks into the sea and climb back up the ladder, but you'd need to have a calm day, lots of strength and courage! Good breakfast (Jamaican). Free access to the famous beach at the sister hotel, Idle Awhile, down in Negril, with free parking, friendly staff, loungers, towels etc. Yes, you do get offered ganja, jewellery and lots else, but by and large if you decline politely you won't have too much trouble! Hide Awhile is quiet and secluded and we enjoyed it.
Cons: Service a little variable. If you do not have transport and are counting on dinner you had better book ahead because it might not be available otherwise- and if it is it will be very early! The fact that Booking.com allowed me to book two nights at the beach hotel even though there was no room available on one night. Through the hotel we switched to staying both nights on the cliffs (at Hide Awhile) which was better for us.
Pros: The beach was very clean and the food quite decent.
Cons: Dark, damp, loud rooms with absolutely no privacy since the windows only consisted of wooden shutter (no glass) and you could hear everyone and everyone could hear you... at night the proximity to the road made me feel as though we were staying in a road Motel. It was also full of mosquitoes, that bit me every night despite drenching myself with repellent. If only our bed had had a mosquito net! To top everything off, some of the staff at the restaurant is clearly unqualified, bad- tempered and bold to costumers. They’d start arguing with me when I politely pointed out that they had brought me something different to what I ordered, which is totally unacceptable.
Pros: Paradise on earth ! Staff is amazing and location is ideal.

Pros: Perfect location, wonderfull staff. Great value for that price. The hotel is literally on the awesome beach with a bar and a restaurant. Definitely recommended!
Pros: Not too big, nice layout, easy to get around.
Cons: Should have fans on lanai or patio, can get a little warm
Pros: The staff is so friendly and amazing!! We will never stay at another hotel in Jamaica! Kiki and Charles were OUTSTANDING!! The resort is so clean and beautiful, and the location is absolutely PERFECT!!

Room service is available. The private sandy beach offers guests a place to read a good book or wade in the shallow water. Guests can also enjoy lounging by the pool, or go snorkeling in the clear waters. The on-site fitness center, along with beach volleyball and tennis courts can allow guests to stay active. Guests can enjoy Caribbean and other international menu choices from the Palm Grove Restaurant. The Lotus Leaf restaurant offers a more upscale dining choice, while the Palm Breeze Bar & Grill offers more casual dining options. The swim-up Bamboo Bar allows guests to take a cool dip while enjoying a favorite cocktail. The all-inclusive Sunset at the Palms Resort is an adults-only destination. This makes it a great choice for couples celebrating those important milestones. Honeymooners will appreciate the relaxation and serenity the resort offers.
Pros: Very clean. Gorgeous resort and beach. Most staff were friendly.
Cons: Tons of mosquitoes made it impossible to enjoy the grounds, and the daily fumigation wasn't helpful and seemed dangerous... Limited dining options as the restaurants other than buffet aren't open everyday
Pros: Quiet, tranquil, and the log cabins for each guest offer privacy. Staff are warm and responsive. Food is generally good, especially Chef’s Showcase. Beautiful property with tropical vegetation throughout. The spa staff are fantastic btw.
Cons: There was too much loud yard work going on throughout the day, especially use of loud and smelly gas leaf blowers. Use rakes and save the environment and your guests’ ears, please! Also, the bands varied in quality. A Jamaican resort should be able to do better given the musical talent on the island.
Pros: Very nice hospitality. We also loved the gardens/ landscape.
Cons: Fake bug sounds from around 6:45pm to approx 4:00am. First night thought it was unbelievable... I was right.
Pros: The resort and staff are all excellent. The staff is always so welcoming and service-oriented. The resort is clean, private, and has beautiful landscaping and nature all around. As a guest, you will always feel welcomed like family. They really take care of their repeat guests too. It tends to be very easy to make friends with other guests on the resort, though you can certainly opt for privacy too. The food is mostly excellent with a few different options on the resort. The beach connected with the resort is clean and provides a wonderful view of the water and surrounding beaches, and the staff ensures that you are not hassled by beach vendors. The short walk across the road to the beach is not a big deal at all given that a security guard is always at the crosswalk to look out for you. There are plenty of options for activities on and off the resort and its beaches, and there is plenty of transportation always available. This is not a high-energy, party atmosphere place, but rather a quaint, private resort to relieve stress and relax, and it certainly surpasses my expectations from that standpoint.
Pros: On entire The property is welcoming, the grounds is well maintained ,the accommodation offers privacy and relaxation.myself and my wife would definitely stay at sunset at the palms again.
Cons: The WiFi was very poor inside and outside
Pros: The location, the staff, the food
Cons: The mosquitos (but that's not their fault :-)) and the Chef's table, there's for sure a good intention but doesn't live up to the expectations
Pros: Clean, Cozy, friendly staff, good food and the beach (across the street with crossing guard) very privat
Cons: Bungalow (Bathroom) and some of the other buildings need renovation due to age
Pros: We loved the food!! The buffet everyday was themed and the food was so good! Also, the coffee was a great way to wake up each day. Mostly, we loved the staff and guests. We felt like we knew everyone and the staff was so helpful. When I got a little too much sun one day on an excursion, someone from the front desk actually took some time to come check up on me! I 100% recommend today resort.
Pros: The resort was beautiful and clean (a must-see). I loved the landscaping of the property. It is a small intimate resort and perfect for relaxation. The room was great and roomy, the food was really good and the staff was wonderful and greeted you with a smile. Everyone made you feel welcomed. I would definitely stay there again, if I decide to go back to Negril.
Cons: I was not too impressed with the beverages (many sweet alcoholic drinks) and their sodas tasted different from Coke or Sprite. They do not have a big selection of Liquors, which is the only downside. They use their brand liquors throughout the resort and the only bar you can get different liquors was at their Martini Bar, but like I said very small selection. I didn't drink too much for that reason. Also, I did not like all the peddlers at the beach walking around and constantly going up to people trying to sell stuff. I think all resorts should have a policy on this at their private beach areas, which wouldn't allow them to bother the guests of the resorts. Tourists go the resort's beach to relax. I did not take a stroll at the beach for this reason.
Pros: It was paradise on Earth
Cons: Nothing I didnt like

Pros: Just returned from a visit 4/1-4/6/17 and were thoroughly impressed with the resort. Food was way better than other resorts, and the grounds are spread out enough that it never felt crowded. Always was able to find a beach chair in the shade, even when we got to the beach at 11 am. Always found a seat at one of the bars, hardly waited for drinks. Staff is friendly and helpful. Had the atrium suite and didn't miss the tv at all. Beach is raked every night and the grounds are meticulously kept. Already planning to go back!
Cons: Food at the cabana and sea grape took a little long to get. I can't even believe I'm complaining about this.
Pros: The accommodations were clean, comfortable, and well up to date. The staff were pleasant and helpful always. The service was excellent! I felt like i was treated with royalty, especially when dining in the restaurants.
Cons: The fan vent in the bathroom was noisy and annoying. When asked to complete a survey or evaluation, no pen or paper was available, in the room, or at the reception desk.
Pros: Nothing !!!
Cons: This hotel was the worst hotel I ever stayed !! The conditions were horrible!! I need a refund ! I had to strip naked in front of the rooms for the message on the beach while people begged me for money !
Pros: This was our second trip to Couples Swept Away. It was a great resort. The clientele was younger this time which is good. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an adults only all inclusive.
Pros: The location of the property was one of the saving graces of this hotel. As well as the smile and services of Chef Erica and Masseuse Miss Joy and Shane in Patois Patio and Stacey Ann. The beach was magnificent. Very close to Margaritaville and the local shops and church.
Cons: There are quite a lot we did not like. Firstly, this was the most lacking “all inclusive” we have ever stayed in. The food for the most part was sub par. The drinks were minimal. We waited 2 days in our short stay to get our bar stocked. Front desk staff DID NOT explain anything to us upon check-in as first time guests and as a result we had missed out on so many activities. Majority of the staff were unpleasant and unprofessional. For the price we paid, we regretted staying there and should have stayed at Sandals instead. The buffet is not a buffet everyday and the spread is severely lacking. The activities are sparse. The crowd that stay are also quite boring. Overall very very disappointed.
Pros: All the Staff is so helpful and happy. Everything is included and I mean everything. Best beach ever.
Pros: The food and the staff was amazing.
Cons: Well there were roaches in my room , the whole time I was there . They sprayed my room with bug spray for two days straight and the smell was horrific...it gave me a headache, they offer to move us but we was with a group and didn’t want to be far away , I’m really disappointed because I couldn’t sleep good thinking about the many bugs that were in my room and the tiles in the bathrooms should be cleaned thoroughly because the dark spots and bugs just caused my trip to be awful
Pros: The Atrium suite was fantastic with very close access to the beach. The views were gorgeous. The activities in the Water Sports area was awesome. The staff were so friendly and helped us navigate different sports very well. Total value for money will be back again for sure :)
Cons: The reception could have been better. The experience was not so good.
Pros: Awesome entertainment committee headed by Carlos and his crew-Richard, Matthew, Adam, Alexis, Shanice and Antoinette. Played volleyball everyday catamaran sunset cruises and piano bar and dancing the night away everyday. Came home refreshed!
Cons: Food was so-so. Breakfast buffet at The Palms smelled ok but never tasted good. Best meals were at Feathers and Lemongrass-shrimp pad Thai was my favorite, however it was not spicy at all.
Pros: Everything!!! In love with the resort, staff and location.
Cons: I only wanted more jamaican food!
Pros: Everything in this hotel is perfect!!We will be back for sure!I highly recommend!!
Pros: Great location and food.
Cons: Drinks at daytime bars are watered down.
Nestled on the beach, this Negril property is within a 5-minute walk of Bloody Bay Beach and Bloody Bay. Seven Mile Beach is 0.5 mi (0.7 km) away.
Pros: Friendly staff,good location
Cons: The furniture and floor were dusty, and the tub did not work
Pros: The staff in the dining area
Cons: Having to pay extra even though my booking allow 3 guests. Very juvenile staff at the reception that constantly questioned openly ones pocket based on appearance, very negative quality
Pros: The staff was AMAZING. The view, the room, all so very nice and took great care of us. Orane, Dametri & Christopher were great!!
Cons: Wish there was a free shuttle from Mobay airport
Pros: I loved the cleanliness, courteous staff and services.
Cons: I absolutely loved the facility. Staff and service was awesome. I thought the entertainment could be better.
Pros: Nice room, good food and butlers were very helpful.
Cons: Wifi was down at times and service to make phone calls was poor.
Pros: Stayed at the Royalton Spa instead of Grand Lido (nude facility) The butler service The room comfort and design (swim out ). The food was excellent. Most of the staff was extremely helpful. Room was very clean and information was readily available,
Cons: The location of the toilet facilities in the room its a little far from the face basin for washing my hands after using.
Pros: Rooms are excellent as was food.
Cons: Personal item taken
Pros: Very friendly and accommodating staff. Hotel very serene and quiet. Rooms comfortable and clean
Pros: Nothing like it used to be. Not much
Cons: Grand Lido was a beautiful nude resort. Spacious with a beach. Torn down to make the Royalton. Now grand Lido is about 5% of the resort. No beach. Very small service is terrible.

Pros: We enjoyed breakfast by the sea, it was great
Cons: The beds were not the most comfortable.
Pros: The staff was helpful and thorough. Breakfast was delicious everyday. Facilities were spotless, extremely secure and safe, beautiful and peaceful!
Cons: We loved EVERYTHING about this hotel!
Pros: Location on the cliffs was perfect ... nice vibes . Personal pool n cliff jump .Cassandra is a plus , nicest manager on the west end will help you with anything .
Cons: Nothing .. everything did well clean
Pros: Location, food and Cassandra :)
Cons: Just a niggle with the morning staff at the restaurant
Pros: Great staff, spacious accommodations, excellent food
Pros: The grounds were very well kept. Bigby, the gardener seemed tireless in his efforts to keep the property looking great.
Cons: Food was so so, and restaurant service was slooow.
Pros: I loved the scenery & I took some bomb pics!! beautiful hotel I will be back again!
Cons: The wifi in the room could be better.
Pros: The morning coffee views over looking the cliff edges and into the sea... breath taking. Evenings were even more breath taking with the hotel's use of light which definitely set the setting perfectly for romantic evening dinners.
Cons: there was nothing not to like, from the service, access to the sea, food and setting. We couldn't have asked for more.
Pros: Really cool property on the cliffs in the west end that’s quiet, safe, clean and picturesque. It’s right beside ricks cafe too (popular hangout) and the food is some of the best in Negril. The staff there were superb. Vivian looked after us the most at Ivan restaurant pretty much every day, and Mike the manager upgraded our room when our tv cable box wasn’t working. This really made the trip. The ladies in the management office were also first class by helping us sort taxis or day activities. The property catered to everything above and beyond.
Cons: You have to take taxis to the beach which were about $25 a pop one way. There is no beach walkable, but the views as well as the availability for snorkeling from the property are amazing. The Capricorn room we initially booked was quite small, but the Aries room was spacious (His and Hers sinks) and top class.
Cons: Suite was very hot. Bedroom was hot the first night but the a/c cooled it down enough the rest of the time. Shower water pressure was terrible, hard to wash soap out. Didn't want to deal with changing rooms though. Overall everything was great though.

Pros: Been there 8 times and it is getting better with the new management. Entertainment has really stepped up. Not for everyone.
Cons: Hot water didn't last during premium shower times on prude side.
Pros: The food was very good. Our room was clean and they did clean the pools regularly. There were a lot of activities and a traveling group was there trying to get everyone involved.
Cons: The only thing we really didn't like was the prude vs nude beach rules. I walked over with bottoms on and was told immediately I have to take them off. So on the prude side why are people allowed to be completely nude? I think it should be individuals choice. After a while it's nice to use our imaginations. Also most of the staff was very pleasant but a few were the opposite of friendly. And overall it's a bit overpriced.
Pros: The entertainment selections are always a plus. You can tell there have been upgrades to the food. The fitness activities available were also a positive.
Cons: Some of the rooms still have issues and the room I stayed in was dated save for an upgraded television. Basically my room hasn't changed since my first trip in 2005.
Pros: The food was good, the room was good the staff were excellent the entertainment was excellent the beach was awesome the excursions were awesome.
Cons: We weren’t exactly sure where the events were being held and at what time, we weren’t informed of what every nights themes were going to be prior to our trip. A map would have been helpful.
Pros: The staff was super friendly and helpful. Food was excellent.
Cons: Would have liked air conditioned dining in the main area.
Pros: Food and staff was excellent. I liked no-cash policy and that everything was inclusive. It is easy to be mind free and not think about the money. Property was also very nice with lots of options.
Cons: Some parts of the property were little warned out, so I would suggest some renovations (like the AC in the gym, the smell was unbearable, also some columns around the yard by the store. Wifi did not work in the rooms or the beach, and the room phones did not work at all. Wifi only in the lobby and dining area. Small pool in front of the club with the bar in it, had leaves and no one was using, did not seem clean.
Pros: They were actually fixing the wifi during my stay
Cons: The room could have been cleaner and the wifi was bad.
Pros: The staff is fantastic! The location is great! No complaints. Just suggestions. Will visit again! Very freeing and open experience!
Cons: The rooms were a little dated and there was no music at the pool at night. Even some ambient music would make the pool more appealing. Could use at least some mister in the dining areas to provide a little extra cooling. Just could be a little more luxurious but overall we loved our stay and will visit again.
Pros: The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The food was great.
Cons: This was my first time at hedonism. The hype and reviews of the place made me have high expectations for more of a party aspect. I wish there was some way to know what weekends would be slow and what we’re the best weekends to go. Apparently, coming on the weekend is not as eventful as coming in the weekday. We payed the same price for the slow weekend so I wish there were a little more activities & party available for single ladies that travel together.
Cons: Utterly and positively amazing!!
Pros: EVERYTHING YOU EXPECT. 3rd time there and it only gets better
Pros: The food was amazing, the entertainment a surprise bonus. Staying at a clothing optional resort was fun.
Cons: The rooms were very outdated & needed some repair for how much we were paying, but the bathroom was nice & newly renovated.

Pros: Every meal we had was excellent. The rooms were spacious and clean. We never had an issue finding lounge chairs on the beach. Staff was friendly and fun. Entire property is gorgeous.
Cons: Our bed situation was disappointing. Their king bed was two doubles pushed together, with each one being tucked in separate from the other. My husband and I would have to undo the entire bed just to feel like we were sleeping in the same bed.
Pros: Beach, good food
Cons: No complaints
Pros: The staff is amazing and the food was great as well.
Cons: Do not like how king size beds are put together with 2 twin beds.
Pros: The staff was the friendliest we have ever dealt with. Most anything you want with a thank you.
Cons: Out of hotels control, but a lot of vendors and dealers walking the beach offering goods past the secured areas
Pros: Location, pools
Cons: Mosquitos in the rooms
Pros: The staff was great. Bartenders were very friendly! The entertainment staff gets everyone involved and everyone is very laid back.
Cons: Beds are very hard, probably need an upgrade. Also the whole push the double beds together to make a king doesn't work. The hustlers on the beach are a major turn off to the entire beach. Tried to watch the sunset on the beach and was constantly haras
Pros: The staff and selection of food
Cons: The putting together of twin beds to make a king
Pros: Great location, huge beach
Pros: The staff was awesome.
Cons: It didn't have much entertainment the week I was there.
Pros: The staff was very courteous and polite, they reach out to ensure that all your needs were met with maximum effort.
Pros: The large room, extra large bed, the fabulous beach, excellent staff, all inclusive meals/drinks. Food was good, we went to buffet and to all 4 restaurants, all were good.
Cons: Our room was as far away from everything as it could get. But, maybe that is for the good, as we had to walk off some of that food and drink. Not a hotel problem as the beach is public, but there are too many people selling things on the beach.
Pros: The views were breathtaking no matter where you looked!! The staff was absolutely amazing from every aspect - entertainment to housekeeping to waiters/waitresses to front desk. So incredibly friendly and helpful at all times!!

Pros: The staff was friendly helpful & accommodations were excellent. Loved the private dinner ( sorry Delro for running you back & forth in the lighting storm) . Massage was very relaxing.
Cons: The only negative was a couple nights in a row our waitress didn’t hide that she didn’t want to wait on us but by the last night she switched us to someone else who didn’t seem to mind questions about the menu.
Pros: Again everything was good
Pros: The salt water pool and hammocks an amazing peaceful private place.
Cons: There was no shower gel, very unusual for a hotel of this standard, also the room could have done with a small coffee table.
Pros: The friendly staff, the great pool, the serenity and great gardens of the hotel
Cons: Not enough shade during breakfast, not many amenities in the bathroom.
Pros: EVERYTHING! It’s a home away from home.
Cons: There is only one restaurant; selections are good though.
Pros: We had an amazing stay!! The atmosphere is unique. The friendly staff and the beautiful rooftop rooms make this place one of the best I have seen on Jamaica. We will come back for sure!!
Pros: After 12 + trips to Jamaica I can honestly say that Blue Mahoe Restaurant has some of best food in Jamaica. As for the staff, they are wonderful. They are very friendly and attentive to guest needs. I must mention that this area has the most amazing sunsets you will ever see!
Cons: This was our 3rd trip to the Spa Retreat in a 12 mths. There will be many more for us in the future, so i still have not had a negative experience.
Cons: I didn’t like that the dogs were in and out of the pool and it didn’t say before I booked that there were dogs on the property. If a guest who was afraid of dogs booked that would be a big problem
Pros: The resort had a nice garden, spacious rooms, lovely menu, good snorkeling opportunities, and very friendly staffmembers.
Cons: The parking was a bit small. The toilet didn't function properly, but was repaired to satisfaction.
Pros: We loved our stay, truly the best resort in Negril! The food was fabulous, the staff made you feel like you were their family. The spa was beautiful and the staff again was amazing! We are counting the days to come back.

Pros: All was great locsation is fasntastic. Quite remote from Negril beach but we were happy for that as its really in the country . RThere a free transit to Negril beach 3 times daily and more often for a small fee. Fresh sea water pools right on the rocks , very beaqitiful and well kept gardens very tranquil. we will be back!
Cons: Just a bit more attentiuon to room service cleaning
Pros: This property is nice and peaceful. It is fairly quiet and secluded. It is farthest property in Negril on coast. I would book again
Cons: The only thing I did not like was the location was somewhat far down from anything else. We wanted to make a little groceries but no store close by. However, if you have a car or make use of the shuttle (pay attention to pricing) it is not really a bad thing.
Pros: I like the set up of the property in cottage style individual rooms and the opposite end which gives a cliff view of the ocean.
Cons: It’s impossible to swim anywhere near the property, a couple feet tall waves crash in all throughout the day and management advises against swimming in the ocean. There are leisure pools with salt water and fresh water. The hotel is located about 20 minutes from the center of Negril town so you will need to drive, shuttle or use a taxi to get to major activities around town. If you are looking for a quiet isolated vacation then this place would be ideal.
Pros: The view from the room was just perfect, right on the sea with a great terrace to relax in your hammock. The bed was big and really comfortable and the room was spotless. The staff at the hotel were just wonderful and so genuine and caring. The bonfire on Sunday nights is brilliant. The hotel is about 15 minutes drive to the beach and the hotel offers a shuttle service which is great, we had loads of good recommendations of where to eat. Cannot wait to come back.
Pros: I can’t say enough good things about this safe, comfortable and friendly place. I wanted a getaway and I found the perfect one. The staff felt like family at the end of my week. What you see online is exactly what you get. Maybe a little more. I miss it already.
Cons: I wasn’t too impressed with Jamaica as a whole but it grew on me. If you’re going to Jamaica I don’t think you’ll find a better safer and friendlier place than the Westender Inn. It has a special place in my heart!
Cons: Great place... friendly staff...
Pros: Breakfast was included in our stay and we could pick one thing off the menu. It was tasty and included coffee and small fruit plate. Staff were friendly and the shuttle bus was handy, you can have free rides at 10, 1 and 4 but otherwise $4 pp each way and the shuttle bus will leave on the hour.
Cons: When we arrived we were given a garden suite not ocean view as booked. We also had some issues with money and needed a refund. The property isn’t really 4 star, quite worn down, the hooks were falling off walls, toilet roll holder falling off wall, fridge smelly and covered in a liquid inside. Generally the place needs some tender loving care. Quite far from Negril and seven mile beach so not much to do, unable to walk anywhere and the sea is rough so unsuitable for swimming. I wouldn’t stay here again, the place needs some work done and then I’m sure it will be wonderful.
Pros: I loved the grounds and the location of our room, although the rooms was dated it was satisfactory. The hotel itself is at the very end of the WestEnd and very secluded. I found that staff friendly, however the service in the restaurant was extremely slow.
Cons: The service in the restaurant and bar.
Pros: The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful! Food was great.
Pros: Lovely place surrender of nature and Caribbean vibes , awesome ocean pools great atmosphere ,services amazing
Cons: A little far but it’s worth it for the peace and vibe is amazing , they help you getting you around easy and fast .

Pros: Everything was just PERFECT!..The place..the staff...my room...the food...and the location.!!.. I will definitely return. Thank you Ms.Jackie..Mike and Christine for ensuring me a wonderful stay. Your dedication to your guests concerning their safety, and making sure they have a great time goes above and beyond any place that I've stayed . Thank you All. Definitely looking forward to coming back to see you .
Cons: There was nothing that I did not like .!!
Pros: Like I was at my own home. Will b back very soon. Mrs. Jackie is the best.
Pros: The location was perfect. The property is beautiful. Everyone was so welcoming. Price was very reasonable for the accommodations. I felt safe and secure. Ms. Jackie, her husband and Ms. Christine were very accommodating and just genuine good people. As well as their grandson Kai! Such a sweet little boy! Ms. Jackie has this nurturing instinct that cannot be denied. When I say she took care of us, SHE TOOK CARE OF US. The entire time we stayed in Jamaica. It was my best friend and I, and our first time in Jamaica. The way our intinerary was set up, we only booked one night at Ms. Jackie’s property and stayed at two different locations that we previously booked. She personally made sure we made it to our other locations, made sure we were safe and made it back to the Montego Bay airport! And I still cannot thank her enough. For her overwhelming generosity. Such a sweet woman. The day we arrived, I had never met or seen her before, but me and her talked for about 2-3 hours non-stop! Right on her beautiful patio area. The weather was perfect. I didn’t tell her until the next day, but I had these chill bumps every so often while we were talking. Not sure what it meant but I knew it was something very special about her. She’s my Jamaican mom now! I cried when we departed. I plan to come back to Jamaica in a few months and there’s no other place I will stay. I absolutely loved it. If you’re in Jamaica, this is the place to stay.
Cons: There’s not one thing I didn’t like.
Pros: Traveling alone I had an amazing time at Lorenton. I felt safe, relaxed, and comfortable. Mrs Gordon and Christine made my visit one of the best experiences ive had while on vacation. I was so comfortable in my King suite, Mrs Gordon hadnt really seen me my first couple of days because I was inside cool and sleeping in bliss. I was offered to be taken around anywhere I wanted to go, given breakfast, and offered food. I was more comfortable here than my visit to Grand Pallladium Resort in February! I think for this affordable price offered you and your family can have an incredible Jamaican experience that everyone will enjoy. There's a beach close by within walking distance and if not Mrs Gordon will take you out for fun. I absolutely loved my visit and plan to return in the future.
Cons: There is nothing I didnt like.
Pros: Host is such a lovely person. Very warm and caring. Made me and my boyfriend feel so welcomed
Cons: Everything was awesome
Pros: The property was beautiful and the mangos where in season and growing on property(a plus for me)
Cons: The better restaurants where a good distance away
Pros: We are three sisters. Our 5 days stay at Lorenton was great! Jackie was so entertaining and knowledgeable, so does Michael. She helped us tremendously in finding the best price in building materials for our project (Parents Tombing). Jackie is awesome!! While we were there we met some of her other guests, these people were so much fun we all did not want to leave. We are looking forward in visiting soon again.
Pros: Fantastic food, helpful host, comfortable and spacious in lovely grounds.
Pros: The hideaway is a cozy location at a prefect distance from the town. The beach was only a quick walk away. There were no frowns while we stayed as Jacky made sure my family was comfortable in every way...
Cons: Wish we didn't have to leave so soon.
Pros: Very friendly and warm-hearted hosts. Beautiful rooms and garden.
The Royalton Negril recently opened in 2017 as an upscale, family-friendly, all-inclusive resort with tons of features and a pleasant beachfront setting along Bloody Bay. The Royalton’s affordable rates combined with comfortable accommodations and plenty of amenities make this resort one of the best vacation values. The hotel sits along the southern section of Bloody Bay, which is a pleasant strip of sand with calm water and a quieter scene than most areas. There's little in the immediate area aside from other resorts, though the Kool Runnings Water Park is only a 14-minute walk or two-minute drive away. For a livelier scene, Seven Mile Beach is a five-minute drive south, where there are lots of restaurants, bars, and jerk shacks. Rick's Cafe, a popular spot for cliff-diving, music, and drinks, is only a 16-minute drive away. As an all-inclusive resort, most guests spend their days on the beach lounging or engaging in the non-motorized, free water sports or at one of the pools offered on-site. Diamond Club members are offered a private section of the beach, as well as an exclusive ocean-view pool with a swim-up bar. For ultimate pampering, the full-service Royal Spa offers a variety of treatments. Diamond members also receive luxurious benefits at the spa. Fun aquafit classes, sunrise yoga, and kickboxing are popular at the on-site fitness facilities. Meeting and event space is also available for business and pleasure. Lots of restaurants on-site include several themed eateries, a steakhouse, teppanyaki spot, and Italian eatery, plus there are several bars, but top-shelf liquor is only free for Diamond Club members. The 407 rooms at the resort are fresh and spacious, equipped with jetted tubs, outdoor spaces, free WiFi, and coffeemakers.
Pros: I really enjoyed my stay in Negril. The accommodations were great, the staff was excellent, and it was an overall great time! Everyone at that worked at the property made my my groups experience great! A big shoutout to Ashley the F&B Director, Maxine and Sheldon from Guest Services, Floyd, and many more!
Cons: I didn't really enjoy the lighting situation in the rooms. It doesn't seam streamline! Also, we had a swim-out pool but the water was freezing. This could be due to temperature and the time we visited but maybe having some sort of heating system would be great!
Pros: Location and overall resort is a positive. I would stay there again. Staff was warm and inviting. A beautiful place. Plenty of free activities to do in the sea through the hotel. Plenty of food options to pick from.
Cons: You are pressured to go to some sales pitch for their other properties as soon as you get there. My wife and I had a room with two double beds and were told we couldn't have a room with a single queen bed.
Cons: The swim out pool needed attention. There was a lot of sand & debris so I was not able to enjoy the pool, but this did not spoil the experience.
Pros: Location and Staff. The staff was very pleasant and inviting. Every waiter, bell boy, pool staff, chef, etc went the extra mile to make sure my stay was comfortable. I can not say enough about the staff. Met a wonderful staff member/Bartender named Nickresha who deserves the world's greatest review. She is exceptional. She would be the main reason that I would return. I watched her never forget a face and I also watched how she treated every guest with kindness and hospitality.
Cons: The food was bland.
Pros: The butler service and bartenders were great. The rooms are nice and the amenities are good as well.
Cons: The staff that try to sell you timeshares for points are very pushy and really annoying. They constantly harass you and push you to do their presentation for a free gift. We just wanted to relax, but found ourselves ducking and dodging these people on an hourly basis. The food is pretty sub par. They always run out of everything too. We never felt satisfied and constantly were hungry. We won’t be returning to this property.
Pros: The customer service was excellent
Cons: Nothing is perfect, anything noticed is to be expected.
Pros: The rooms were awesome. The staff was wonderful for the most part.
Cons: There is some miscommunication between the front desk and other areas you conduct business that can be a little confusing. Otherwise an amazing place to get away.
Pros: Loved it !
Cons: I LOVED EVERYTHING!
Pros: The hideaway restaurant, Dorado, was fantastic. The Chilean sea bass was what you would expect at a top-tier restaurant. The service was classy and respectable. Overall the resorts decor and design was very classy and well-appointed. We had a couples massage that was worth every penny!
Cons: This resort is not for those looking for a quiet romantic getaway. The pool is always loud with a member of the hotel’s “Vibe team” creating some activity, work out, or game. It feels like a spring break experience most would be looking for in a Cancun resort with college friends. Additionally, it did not seem like there was any one person in charge of anything. We made reservations for the Zen restaurant one night, only to find out an hour and a half before dinner that the restaurant was closed that night... every week. It turns out someone gave us a reservation but had no idea the workings of the resort. Seems like that happened a lot: told we could do this, but in reality no you can’t, or this can’t happen, turns out no problem mon. Lots of inconsistency. Overall it’s a classy place, just needs to tighten up around the edges and you need to know what kind of experience you’re getting. Also, no olive juice at the martini bar is a very small thing, but a good place example of not hitting the mark.
Pros: Location was fantastic.
Cons: Beach area is quite limited.
Cons: No drinks menu. Staff just make the cocktails and call them anything they like. For $600 a night that's ridiculous. All inclusive and doesn't include the movie channel. For the price of the room ridiculous.
