10.0 Excellent
Pros: Upper Letton Farmhouse is a wonderfully run B&B. The place is immaculate, wonderfully clean and well supplied. The owners are very considerate and ensure their guests comfort and needs whilst being unobtrusive. The bedroom and bathroom were generously stocked with everything a traveller needs and we were extremely appreciative of the fresh milk in the chiller! Breakfast was superb.
Cons: Our sat nav sent us down a narrow forest path but that wasn’t the fault of the owners. On receiving our booking they had warned us of that but we hadn’t opened the email. Our fault entirely!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Really nice rooms and good service
Cons: Bit tense at the breakfast table with other guests, some music in the background might have put us a little more at ease . Also would have been convenient to pay with card

Pros: Perfect. Room was massive and lovely and really well decorated. The bathroom was great too. We had a really comfortable and relaxing stay. The view was great, overlooking fields as far as the eye could see. Finally the breakfast was amazing! Such good quality ingredients cooked really well.
Cons: Only comment would be that the B and B is well and truly in the middle of nowhere. That's what we wanted, but worth noting.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quirky, luxury room in a very central position for all of the shops, bars & restaurants. Breakfast was delicious and different!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Pretty much everything was great. Little details Thought through and made it a pleasant stay.
Cons: Early check out time, especially on a Sunday morning - or without an option to drop a key. The duvet was a cheap/ sweaty hollow fibre thing. For such an expensive room, and one with a four poster bead, that didn’t make sense as anywhere else’s I’ve stayed at a similar price point uses feather.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was spacious and comfy. We had to go to a local café for breakfast which suited us, staff were friendly and the breakfast was good. Because we were central we could explore the shops, castle and market. There were walks around the river, really relaxing. The parking was fine once we worked it out.
Cons: All was good
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Exceptionally clean, central location, beautifully decorated and well equipped
9.6 Excellent
Pros: This is a very beautiful flat in a gorgeous old building. The windows are a great feature of the room as is the very comfortable four poster bed. The bathroom is modern and we'll appointed with plenty of hot water. It is situated right in the middle of town so it is handy for everything.
Cons: There is no onsite parking so you have to find your own and it's all pay and display by the hour. There is a loading zone at the front of the property so you can unload your luggage before you find parking.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good size rooms and bathrooms.
Cons: Great place to stay. Rooms are beautiful, clean and comfy
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Centre of the town with charm and excellent surroundings.
Cons: N/A
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, privacy, comfort, breakfast were all very good

10.0 Excellent
Pros: As a vegetarian, I am often offered poor choice for breakfasts, but the breakfasts were delicious and varied, with home-made compote, jams and marmalades, and scrumptious home-cooked granola. If we came home in the afternoon, as well as tea/coffee in our room, we could cut ourselves a piece of yummy chocolate cake in the dining room and take our snack outside to sit on the comfortable furniture and admire the beautiful garden, and the adorable chickens. Our hostesses also recommended places to eat in the evenings, which turned out to be excellent choices.
Cons: Perhaps a list of suggested places to visit would have been helpful, with appropriate leaflets and up-to-date prices. Only a small quibble - we were able to visit the information centre in Ludlow, or access the information on-line, but there is nothing to beat local knowledge.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is an exceptional B&B in everyway. Location, welcome, food - everything was well beyond expectation. It must be the very best.
Cons: Nothing apart from the rain on the second morning!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very lovely, homey, peaceful and quiet. Perfect for all the cross-country walks you ever wished for

Cons: The internet photos were slightly deceptive. It was little bit old fashioned and not as contemporary as the website photos indicated.
6.3 Good
Pros: Lovely view and great shower.
Cons: Bed in room 5 so uncomfy, hard and squeaky.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The hosts were excellent great to chat to
Cons: No fault of the host, was our fault for not checking was further out of Ludlow than we thought.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast & the owners were very warm & welcoming. Fabulous, colourful garden to sit out in with lovely views. Our room was very comfortable
Cons: Not too many restaurants were open in Ludlow on a Sunday evening, so a limited choice.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is 5 miles outside Ludlow which is a must visit town. Panoramic views from the house of surrounding Shropshire hills which are ideal for walkers. Afternoon chocolate cake was excellent as was the breakfast choice. All served with a smile by Lorraine and daughter Katie. Large very comfortable bed and 'oh joy' 2 chairs in the room; we usually find only one.
Cons: Nothing apart from 2 steps in the breakfast room of differing depth - just be aware.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast, good choice. Perfect location, beautiful garden and views across the valley.
Cons: There was not anything that we did not like.
10.0 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast with a huge selection! Need to stay longer to try everything? Superb rural location with just a short drive to Ludlow. Friendly and helpful owners who could not have done more for us.
Cons: Did not like leaving, but will be back? Mistakenly using the tradesmen parking, rather than that for visitors which is now known to be located at, ending.somewhere.firepower , the "what3words" reference.

The Queens - Ludlow - Building

Pros: Room was lovely, everything you needed was supplied, staff very friendly, excellent location bed really comfortable really enjoyed ourselves, thankyou queens, will defo be back at some point

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, hosts couldn’t do enough for you.
Cons: The bed was a little too uncomfortable for us, abit too springy.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely place in a great location for exploring beautiful Ludlow. Hosts couldn't have been more helpful, even giving us their umbrella when we were headed off to a wedding in the rain without one. They also posted the dress I left behind - they couldn't have done more. Definitely the place to stay in Ludlow!
Cons: The only thing that some might struggle with is that the shower is in the bathtub (maybe different in other rooms) so if you have mobility requirements then this is definitely something to flag. The rooms are also attached to a pub so if you want a completely silent evening in then probably not the place for you however the pub was completely quiet by 11 pm both nights were there (Friday and Saturday) and it would only be if people were in the pub garden that you'd hear anything. I'm a very sensitive sleeper and wasn't disturbed by noise at all.

Cons: The shower on Saturday morning kept on stopping with lack of water pressure.

Pros: Good pub food
Cons: Room was unbearably cold in spite of radiator being on. It must be a technical fault. I had to wear all my clothes in bed! Could not face second night as breakfast had sour milk! All these things are correctible. It is an ideal site for exploring church architecture round Ludlow.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location is perfect

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Food intolerances catered for and friendly welcoming staff
8.0 Excellent
Cons: Room on second floor a bit difficult for elderly pensioner who walks with stick, but the installation of a lift in this old building would not be practical.

Pros: Lovely location. Friendly bar and good food in the restaurant.
Cons: They allow dogs, which is fine but someone obviously went for breakfast at 8am and left their dog in the room for nearly an hour and it barked on and off the whole time.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Spectacular room , good site overlooking river
Cons: Steep staircase but minor complaint
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was excellent
Cons: We knew we had booked a small room it was fine through would had liked a larger bed and done without the side tables
7.1 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Until I got home I did not realise I had paid over £3.00 for the same drinks as before.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff & lovely owner but unfortunately too modern for it’s location on the interior. Great room, very clean, comfy bed and great full English Breakfast
Cons: Too modern for it’s location on the interior. Lack of history and local vibe. The Theme art pictures on the walls together with room names made totally no sense to the buildings location, nor it’s fantastic history. Such a shame that Gimmick Themes & over modernisation is more important than true character & history in a place like Ludlow.

Cons: The bathroom was a little bit tired.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: breakfast excellent
Cons: All was great
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Food was excellent.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The Cliffe presents itself as a restaurant with rooms but we were going to a wedding reception in Ludlow and it was only the rooms bit that we needed. Having enjoyed a quite excellent breakfast at the hotel the next morning we have considerable regrets at not having been able to enjoy dinner there also and, if it were not quite so far away, we would have returned already to enjoy what we missed. The proprietor could not possibly have been more helpful with taxis and directions and made us very welcome. The staff were great too; we had a young and presumably inexperienced waiter at breakfast but any forgetfulness was more than compensated for by enthusiasm. The room was excellently presented and we had an enjoyable stay.
Cons: The thought of having to find it in the dark!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely view. Fantastic food and very attentive staff.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were so helpful and kind and the hotel was beautiful. The food was really wonderful as well.
Cons: Nothing!!
4.6 Okay
Pros: Cosy bar atmosphere, pleasant and helpful bar staff. Easy parking....pleasant music.....nice breakfast room.
Cons: The word 'luxury' was used in error to describe our attic room. Rather 'basic king attic room with basic en-suite bathroom' would have been more appropriate. Breakfast did keep us going to lunch time (as the waiter said) however, yoghurt and cereal may have been more favourable than the cooked breakfast.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was clean and unfussy. We enjoyed sitting in the garden, which was full of flowers. The café on the site was great for breakfast. It was good to know that an unused school building was put to such good use by lots of groups.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was excellent.
Cons: Room was a little cramped. Had trouble locating the reception on arrival.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The building and location. It's three minutes walk from the centre of town, and handy for the station.
7.5 Good
Pros: Room was spotless and bed was comfy, although pretty squeaky when turning over.
Cons: Having to wait to be let in when it was pouring down with rain. I had to phone a mobile number and wait for the lady to arrive. There no where to shelter under.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Central location with easy parking. Price is very competitive. Breakfast available in Pea Green cafe adjoining and again at a very reasonable price with friendly staff.
Cons: Signage and instructions for entrance. Reception was away through a locked door and only by chance someone saw me and helped me . No tv or radio in room (however I realise accommodation is cheap) . I am 72 and came in from a family wedding at 11.30 pm and everything pitch black as lights had fused. I think there should be emergency lighting.
7.5 Good
Pros: Excellent food and service. Great value.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, spotlessly clean, staff very accommodating. I arrived earlier than expected and the out of hours staff made themselves available to meet me.
7.1 Good
Pros: Lovely rooms and comfortable
Cons: My friend didn't like the sausages sandwiches.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We'd had to book in a hurry for this location and weren't sure what to expect, but this was such a pleasant surprise and overall experience. The location couldn't be much better, right next to the police station, good parking (check your registration in on arrival) and just a few minutes' walk from the castle and high street. There's a really nice cafe on site (book breakfast in advance if you're in a group of 6+, the menu is in the booklet in your room), serving local produce. This accommodation is close to major routes into town. The room was on the small side with a shower en-suite but had everything you need including tea/coffee making facilities, and was very, very clean (the beds were also really comfy). We really loved the fact there is a little kitchen area guests can use, with a microwave and small fridge, and a TV lounge/working area. The WiFi was fine too, and the information in the booklet in the bedroom and on the walls some of the clearest and best thought-out I think I've ever seen. Well done to whoever put this together - just about any question you could think of is answered in there! Definitely now on the list for the next time we visit Ludlow (which is such a lovely town to visit).
Cons: Sat-nav - ours took us round the houses and into the local residential estate. Now we know the accommodation is next to the police station we know where to head for next time - though the sat-nav directions don't reflect on the accommodation, so I'm just including that to help anyone else booking.

6.3 Good
Pros: The food is good.
Cons: The room was a bit bleak, and the bed not to my liking.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The accommodation was generally very good, including restaurant / bar. Apart from the full English breakfast (see comment below) all meals were very good. The farm shop sold a good range of food products.
Cons: The full English breakfast was not freshly cooked, with the bacon, sausage and black pudding all a little dry - having been reheated?
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our rooms were large ,beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean. The tea/coffee tray was generously stocked. The dining room was comfortable and the food was excellent. All the staff we dealt with were smiling and helpful.
Cons: Leaving!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Spacious room and a comfy bed. The bar and restaurant area were stylish and comfortable with plenty of social space. The food was modern in style and maybe a little fancy for the type of place although we had a decent meal.
Cons: The breakfast beans need to go, they may be homemade but they did not fit with the traditional English breakfast and I feel sticking to the traditional variety is a must, why try to reinvent something for the sake of it.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Good quality, stylish and comfortable. Staff helpful and allowed us to store bikes overnight.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is our fifth visit and as always was truly enjoyable. After refurbishment The Clive is modern, stylish and yet still retains its character and charm. The staff are exceptional, both welcoming, professional and give excellent care and attention. As always the food top class in both presentation and quality.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Room was very good. Waiting staff and meal excellent
Cons: Asked to book in early as arrived early. Abrupt bar man refused waited in car park for 35mins. Same bar man later in evening leant on bar yawning. Unable to name as only member of staff without a badge
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We have wanted to stay here for a long time as we always came to the Farmshop when holidaying in Shropshire
Cons: The Clive was very tastefully decorated, it was just a shame our room was a ground floor annex & not the main building, which I thought was not as comfortable
7.0 Good
Pros: Lovely light & airy rooms, toiletries fabulous
