It´s really hard to say something good about this Hotel, but one of the receptionist was nice. In the first day we arrived one hour earlier, the rooms were ready but they made us wait until the 2 pm to enter the room. This is an example of the kind of treatment we received in Hotel Borik. The air conditioning is extra paid (10 EUR/day). No lift (6 flights of stairs). The room was never cleaned (4 days we stayed). No shampoo or soap. Bad breakfast, bread was old. Staff treated us with disdain. We really felt we weren´t welcome, they only care with money (we paid in advance). Probably the worse 3 stars hotel in the World.
Landscape, village and beach are very fine. - Make shure, you book a room in the newer building, with sea view. mattress and bed were of a very poor quality, no fridge, no minibar, ants in the room, breakfast is of poor quality (water in the milk, no real orange juice), the Hotel is actually "Hostel Quality". - I still recomend this place, because of the unique location and the beautyful landscape.

I liked the room, the comfort and the cleanliness
The best thing about the hotel is its location, the views from its terrace and the pool. The reception staff was very helpful, too. It is obvious that at the renovation, most money has been spent on the outside, cosmetic fixes only. Underneath this mask, this is still just a 2-star hotel with the management mindset that reminds you of the workers-resorts in the times of socialism. The room and the bathroom haven't been properly cleaned for the whole week of our stay.

It needs to be made very clear which rooms you get air conditioning with or not. We were made to pay extra when we arrived for a/c which we were not pleased about. Also TV in room but have to pay extra to watch it!!
location in Lumbarda had to pay more (100 Kuna/day) if we wanted air-conditioning but was not listed in the website information.
Staff was very professional and kind. Rooms have been cleaned every day. Towels were changed regulary and the bathroom was cleaned daily. Food was very good.For breakfast there were lots of various choiches and diner was also very good. The view from the terrace is beautiful Hotel is for recommendation.
Nice location, with probably the best beach and the best view in Orebic. The room was recently refurbished, and plenty of parking available. It's a nice walk into town (about 15 minutes) and to the ferry, for restaurants and excursions to Korcula (well worth it). The hotel building won't win any prizes, but that doesn't really affect the holiday experience, does it? Breakfast was nothing special, but not horrible, either.
The pool area was pleasant and the views good. The room was small and would have been good if had a balcony. Food and drink prices were more expensive than Korcula and Mljet and the standard of food was lower. The entertainment at the pool was very loud and disruptive. The staff were rude and unwelcoming.
Hotel is very well equipped, recently renovated , very clean ( including the beach and the pool ) , very comfortable Crowded pool, breakfast could be served with little more imagination ( although food quality is very good )
Appalling attitude of staff, both at reception and at the bar. Have never encountered rudeness like this and would certainly never return. Also, a 4 star hotel should at the very least have a room service option or a snack menu up to 11pm. This hotel had a buffet restaurant only which closed at 9.

I liked its location in that its nestled into trees and mountain side and is off the beaten path. Some of the staff were shocking, very rude but perhaps that is their way??? I pulled the two who were the most offensive but didn't make any difference. Management did make up for putting me in a single room the first night which was good of them.
We loved the location of this hotel and the walk into the town along the water. The stff were friendly and the beach was clean with lots of places in sun & shade. Internet connections were in each room. The breakfast buffet each day was delicious. Nothing.

For the exorbitant price paid (200 euros) we receied a room without a view and had to pay for internet access and all other electronic facilities. The breakfast espresso coffee was an extra which was not the case in other similar hotels in Croatia.
The hotel is located 5-10 minute walk from the old town of Korcula on the seaside. Room furniture and comfort are recent. Bathrooms were quite large and comfortable. The hotel is ideal for a relax stay. A wellness centre is available in the hotel as well as a small fitness centre. I did not try the wellness centre, but only the fitness centre which has many gym engines though quite old. Excursion and cultural events are proposed at the hotel. The parking is common with another near hotel and may be impossible to find place, presumably during the high season.
Nothing Everything. The price for the room was ridiulous. The bfast for the price was ridiculous and they closed the coffee maching without asking if anyone wanted more. This hotel is a 2 star!

It was newly renovated
Hotel position (a short walk to the old town). Size of, view from and facilities in room (after changing rooms - see below). We had to change rooms after the first night as the first room smelt strongly of drains. Although a superior room, it was also relatively small and had only a partial view to the sea, over a roof and with a wall to one side. After complaining twice (once on arrival and again the following morning), we were offered an alternative room that was excellent. The staff did not deal with the complaint sympathetically, there was no apology and a (small) discount was given only after being demanded. After moving rooms we were told that there had been a serious plumbing problem and parts of the hotel had to be evacuated. Coffee at breakfast was undrinkable.
not the hotels fault but someone in Korcula needs to do something about the rubbish in the water and on the beaches. maybe a "clean-up Korcula "day, before the tourism is adversely affected.

The view over the marina and the old town. The hotel was built in the 80's, and the rooms are now in urgent need of updating. Drawers did not work, curtains were hanging off the rail, one wardrobe door was missing. The bathroom was two colours - a pink sink, white bath, pink loo and white cistern. The bath was badly stained. We moved the second night to the Marko Polo, which was the same price but was superbly appointed.
The location was fabulous, wonderful situation and views from the room and the beach Many (though not all) of the staff were rude, surly or overbearing. The coffee was terrible.

Closeness to the water and old city. Very spacious. My online booking was not honored. I paid above the on-line rate for one of my two rooms. I complained but the process for rectification was not worth my time.
The only thing I liked was the fact we were there for only one night. They did let us leave our bags after checking out, but I think this is hardly amazing. We had an awful room, of which it seems there are quite a few. The room was very hot and the beds uncomfortable. Given that we paid around 130 euros for one night, I expected more - at the very least to be able to get a good nights sleep.
I liked only the location. Everything else was very poor quality for the huge price. Max 2 stars hotel The price is very high compared to the max 2 stars quality. I am not very picky in general but in this case I felt very very dissapointed. The furniture is very old and I had the feeling nothing was changed since '85 when the hotel was built. It smelled like the hotel was literally passing a disinfection. It felt like a theft because booking.com does not show the room pictures and it is clear it has been done unporpose to mislead the customers. The location is very good but this does not compensate at all the fact that the rooms are not insulated and is a terible noise in the morning (coming from outside and also from the hallways). All needs to be refurbished (except common areas that are resonable). Breakfast poor. Price not justified.

It is an old fashioned hotel without a lift and without air conditioning but it is in a beautiful location right on the waterfront and has parking immediately outside (even for our almost campervan sized vehicle!). The hotel staff our very conscious of the need for quiet at night and in the early morning and a large yacht docked right outside the hotel holding a party on board was quiet after midnight. the staff also asked the refuse collectors to keep their voices low in the early morning. I didn't read any guest reviews on your website so can't answer that question
I was only at the hotel for less than 12 hours, but it worked out perfectly. The location was excellent. It was across from the ferry dock and a 10 min walk to the bus station. The staff made up a bag breakfast for us as we had to leave very early. I wish I could have stayed longer and check out the town more.
The room we had stank from the drains and we had to be moved to a new one, which meant we had 2 single, not a double bed. (The staff said they knew about the smell but thought it would be ok!! It was appalling!) To be fair they moved us quite quickly but we weren't offered an apology or any discount for the inconvenience. The single 'window' in our room was a letter box-sized hole, making the room feel like a cell. No air con so very hot despite the noisy fan in the room. Breakfast reasonable at best. Staff not overly friendly but not rude.
Location, Location, Location - right opposite the ferry and great views of the bay in Korcula town. Convienient for ferry service and has a lovely Al Fresco area on their patio/entrance area. Staff were very helpful and polite. This hotel's bedrooms (I saw rooms 105 & 106 only) are very dated internally and don't have the atmosphere that belies the outer facade and the bedrooms don't have the antique look you expect to see. The bathroom is 60s/70s look No air-con (sad fan in corner), one internet monitor for hotel and no wifi (essential these days). No curtains on the balcony doors so when you pull the one curtain back you are exposed direct to the public.

This hotel has a great location - the best on the island. If the State was prepared to spend money on this property it would have to be the best hotel available. Reception staff rude and very unhelpful. There are not lifts in the two storey property and there is no one to assist with luggage - definitely not the place to stay if you are unable to lug luggage up at least 3 flights of stairs. Property is old and not maintained - curtains had sign they may fall apart if opened! Very limited selection for breakfast. No airconditioning and temp was in the high 30's. Worn linen in room and very old bathroom fittings.
Clean, with good physical facilities. In an attractive site, with excellent views. Restaurant food/menus very poor. Institutional food and service. Total absence of 'thinking about the customer'.

Lack of air conditioning. Bathroom dingy with strange sheet of corrugated tin masking the real ceiling which was half finished. Not good poor for money.
Superb location close by the harbour and town and handy for the ferries. Public rooms all on ground floor and satisfactory. Excellent terrace for taking meals and snacks facing the harbour. Only 24 bedrooms. Ours was on the third floor up stone stairs (not lift installed). The bedroom had an internal mezzanine floor where the bed was located and accessed via polished wooden stairs. Not at all satisfactory for us 72-year olds. Breakfast poor with little selection.
With a foot in the Adriatic, it has a marvelous location. Value for money. Everything else was... laughable. In our bathroom, the hairdryer tube was full of holes, so much that no air came out of the end piece. I would only recommend this place to anyone who doesn't care about the hotel itself, someone who only wants a cheap place near the beautiful sea.
Not a single thing The staff were very rude, not helpful at all, booked a sea view room and received a tree view room that they list as a sea view, this is typical of 80% of there rooms listed as sea view which in fact do not have a seaview
The location was superb and the cleanliness standards were high. The swimming pool was superbly located overlooking the sea. There was no air conditioning in our room. There was a constant smell of drains at the back of the hotel. There were never any sunbeds available as guests were leaving their possessions on them the previous evening to reserve them. The food was overcooked and tasteless and there were queues so long that we eventually decided that it wasn't worthwhile and paid to eat out even though we were full board. None of the staff, excepting one young lady on reception, smiled or made good eye contact and we thought that this was the most unfriendly hotel we have ever visited. Our room was not available when we arrived after 1pm but they did not offer us lunch and then by the time we eventually checked in we were told that lunch was finished!
What i really liked was that the hotel was next to the beach which gave great scenery.Plus also the breakfat was substantial. I would have too say i was supposed to have a beach view room,what i got was a tree view room,not quite the same,i was not dissapointed though,i still enjoyed my stay.
location is excellent, close by the seaside and in the woods, food is ok, the staff is sometimes helpful. the price was too high for this kind of accommodation, "depandans B" (annex) is in poor condition, not renovated for long time, the staff is not always professional, and the hotel in general is outdated with not enough contemporary facilities. Information on your web was not always matching the info received from hotel staff.
The hotel has an excellent sea view, our rooms were really two steps from the beach, and a close walk to city centre, and ferry port. The breakfast is good, and the rooms even outside of the main building are nice.
Hotel was in a pretty good location with an easy stroll to the water. also good proximity to supermarket and restuarants Room was pretty tired and very basic (no airconditioning). Service could have been more efficient.
