Pros: The towels and beddings provided were clean and fresh. The whole resort is beautiful!
Cons: Need better, easy to operate lighting inside the canvas tent.
Pros: Great spot, clean cabin tents with everything you need, nice pool, lots of free outdoor games for the kids, very friendly staff.
Cons: The only thing we missed at our cabin tent was a little shade. No shade at all.
Pros: I liked the location, the check in staff and office were excellent. The pool area is great and the waterfall was probably our most favorite just to cool down.
Cons: The dinner was ok for some dishes and very good for the special. The service in restaurant needs improvement. Waited at least 30 min for Bill and wasn't even checked on after dessert. Cabins extremely hot...i know it's hot out
Pros: Breakfast was delicious, staff were friendly, cabins were AWESOME and the rafting was an unforgettable experience. A complete success of a trip!
Cons: The trains are really loud when trying to sleep BUT the resort does provide earplugs for every guest which I thought was really awesome! Slept like baby all night!
Pros: The staff
Cons: The price
Pros: For camping it was fantastic
Cons: Sharing toilet but that’s what I expected when staying in a yurt , but they were super clean and always stocked
Pros: -Swimming pool and Jacuzzi -Basketball court -Good entertainment for the kids! -Very helpful and pleasant staff -Car battery went dead and staff helped me get the car started. -Fantastic rafting experience!
Cons: - Boiling tents - Extremely frequent trains that wake you up throughout the night. - Right in the edge of a very busy road. - Meals are not cheap. - Expensive shops and restaurants in Lytton -Showers and toilet facilities are as clean as you can expect on a camp site. - Beds were if a good size but not the most comfortable.
Pros: Hot tub, live music, great views, nice food.
Cons: Next to train tracks so quite noisy but left us ear plugs so not really a problem
Pros: Washrooms, showers and our tent where immaculate. The pool was quite clean too.
Located in Lytton, Totem Motel is a 1-minute drive from Lytton Museum and Archives and 5 minutes from Skihist Provincial Park. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Extremely clean, comfy bed and great location.
Pros: Location is great. No breakfast, only Mr Rooster to wake you up, but short walk to eats. We loved the historical provenance and information about the Inn. Cute cozy & clean! Perfect for a nights sleep.
Cons: Needs a bit of updating for guests. Shower was slippery and nothing to hold on to. The Television had no guide and just had to keep flipping through channels. The Air Con fan was very noisy and would not turn down, had to shut it off and on as it blew cold air straight out.
Cons: Bad smell in the room, Room Maintenance - not satisfy
Pros: I loved where the motel was located. I loved our little cottage. It is also located beside the community pool-huge draw for kids. The beds were fresh and clean. No complaints. First night I slept through the night in our weeklong vacation.
Cons: I noticed the walls needed washing. It looks like someone splashed water on the main areas wall and left it to dry. The outside sprinkler was hitting the cottage and water was entering through the window. There was obvious streaks, not fresh, and the carpet directly below the window was SOAKED. There was a power outlet directly below the window and a plugged in extention cord along the floor. Hazard! Owner didn't seem overly concerned( like he was aware already) The bathroom floors had dirt. The back of the door had previous occupants smudges. The shower has what looks to be like black mould growing along the bottom seams, not a lot though. I didn't feel comfortable walking around in bare feet. If the bathroom and walls were cleaner I would rate much higher.
Pros: This place has warm energy and much reminded me of my grandma's home. Everything is cozy, village feeling. I love backyard and a view was pleasant. This motel was not the highest star hotel in our trip but was most liked. And only kid friendly place we had in our trip. Thank you for having that little slide on a backyard.
Cons: This place needs renovation. Run as a family business as I believe. I would have stayed there for another night, but I don't think that we would take on more. You also need to be aware of the trains coming every 20 min from both sides of the Motel. They stop after 10pm and start close to 6am. Was fun, not too much disturbing.
Pros: Clean, reasonably well equipped
Cons: Dated, no hair dryer.
Pros: A great place to stay! Staff are friendly and accommodation is comfortable.
Pros: The grassy area at rear of hotel was a wondrous place to view the two-colour stream in the brown Fraser River caused by the green Thompson River flowing into it at Lytton. Also, it that was a great place to view the huge CPR and CNR freight trains that pass through Lytton regularly.
Cons: The accommodation was OK within its limits, which were expected.
Cons: The place smelled moldy. The beds were very uncomfortable. The staff was very unfriendly
Pros: Spooky city, spooky staff, spooky everything. The good thing was that the room was clean - nothing else to say. We will never go there again.
Cons: Outdated furniture, grumpy staff, the whole scenario felt like being caught in a Halloween movie. Clean room though.

Pros: Great location. Clean. NO bed bugs.
Pros: The hotel owner was very friendly and helpful for our stay, I love their cute dog at the front desk!
Pros: A very charming hotel that didn't look like much from the outside. We were pleasantly surprised! The restaurant on site was brilliant - we tried both breakfast and dinner in the Chinese restaurant here and both were fantastic quality. We really enjoyed the onsite pub with pooltable and jukebox and the sense of community there was really enjoyable. Room smelt very clean when we arrived and in-room fridge and microwave were very helpful.
Cons: Only complaint is that there was no elevator - our suitcases were pretty heavy and the stairs made for quite a challenge.
Pros: This is a very old hotel so we were not sure what to expect as Lytton is a very small town. We were happily surprised with our rooms. The rooms were a decent size, and clean. Despite trains going through often they were not really loud as they were down the embankment. The towels were really fluffy!! Roxie their dog was a wonderful greeter!
Cons: Ineffective A/C,no hot water.
Pros: It was old and not recently renovated but very comfy, clean, friendly staff. Much nicer than you’d imagine from outside. The area is lovely, tiny old town near the ferry to stein valley. Ideal for day trip to stein valley (romantic or otherwise). We really enjoyed our stay.
Cons: The keys were not fitting the locks well, the outside looked a little sketchy because it was not recently painted or updated. Inside so much nicer. No kettle or coffee maker provided but the fridge was big and worked really well.
Pros: It was quiet. The bed was so cozy, loved having a duvet instead of blankets and bedspread. It was exactly what I needed to go white water rafting at Kumsheen!
Cons: Really wanted/needed a blow dryer.
Pros: The location was great and the room was spacious and very clean.
Pros: Great old school hotel with clean and comfortable rooms, very nice front desk staff(including the friendly family dog)and hard to beat the price! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone seeking accommodation in Lytton and the cafe has a great breakfast.
Pros: Its a clean place but the room smells like 100 years of smokers stayed there
Located in Lytton, Rest Inn Lytton is a 1-minute drive from Lytton Museum and Archives and 5 minutes from Skihist Provincial Park. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The room was set up with a coffee maker, microwave, and refrigerator. It was everything we needed.
Pros: Fridge was cold. Coffee maker worked. Clean.
Cons: No deadbolt on door. You can open it with a good shake prob. The bed was very old and very noisy.
Pros: Amazing staff!! So friendly and clean
Pros: For having a sign saying newly renovated , it wasn't. Other than that it sufficed.
Cons: It was cramped and lots of train noise in evening and traffic going by during the day.
Pros: Room was clean, staff were friendly, bed was comfy, felt safe and good price.
Cons: Clean rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Good location walking distance to breakfsst spot.
Pros: The best of the three options in town imo, everything was as expected. There's a cute cat who likes to hangout nearby lol
Cons: The bathtub wasn't particularly inviting, but the bathroom overall was cleaner-feeling than others I've been to in the area especially thanks to the new floors.
Pros: Location is great if you are passing through.
Cons: Standard fair middle of nowhere motel. Nothing to dislike, but nothing to recommend.
Pros: It’s location is great. The rooms are clean, large and bright.
Cons: The structure is very old and not long for this world. Some nice Reno’s have been done but the floors feel a bit bouncy and for instance the locks old and loose. Still it all works!
Pros: Sadly, there was nothing to like about this facility.
Cons: The rooms were supposedly recently renovated, and perhaps they were, but not to an even mediocre standard. We were grateful the floors were not carpeted, and that the bathroom sink was fairly new; however, the mold around and above the bathtub was disgusting, and the fan did not work properly as it was totally clogged with debris. A coffee maker was supplied, but no cups. No hairdryer. The facility is located between two railway lines, which were active throughout the night.
Pros: Grocery store across the road. Quiet at night.
Cons: More electrical outlets !!! It was VERY hard to plug something into the power bar. Every time I changed plugs, the TV went off ! You should plug a second power bar into the current power bar so that it is accessible.
