Located in Michicagn, the Mission Point Resort lies on Lake Huron, spanning over 18 acres of waterfront property. Guests will be able to participate in an array of activities such as kite flying, flower pressing, kayaking, golfing, garden and history tours, biking, and playing bocce ball, to name a few. Guests will also have access to state of the art Lakeside Spa and Salon, northern Michigans most luxurious health and wellness retreat. Services include a full salon, multiple spa treatment rooms, men's and women's saunas, steam rooms, and a spa shop.

The resort offers a wide variety of comfortable rooms. Decorated with uniqueness, charm, and comfort, amenities include free WiFi internet access, free access to the fitness center, iron/ironing board, in-room coffeemaker with coffee, cable TV, hairdryer, spa bath amenities, daily housekeeping, in-room dining and in-room refrigerator (upon request).

Offering five restaurants, guests are sure to be delighted at the variety of cuisine. Chianti serves up traditional homemade pasta and food from the Chianti region of Italy while The Round Island Bar & Grill features all-day dining and signature drinks from the resort's cocktail garden. Bistro on the Greens is the place to go for excellent summer bistro dishes, and Reserve is the spot to indulge in sweets and wine. Boxwood Coffeeshop & Cafe serves coffee and made-from-scratch pastries.

Pros (+) The resort was away from all the commotion of downtown and there was plenty to do; enjoying the quiet waterfront, playing glow golf, exploring the grounds and more. It's the best place to stay in the island for a couple or family getaway.
