Pros: The resort itself was beautiful! It's close to many elephants camps and many out door places! It located on the mountain but not hard to drive there, and you will able to see the foggy in the early morning! Also there was a small waterfall right behind the resort you just have to take a little hike to get there. The staffs were so nice and helpful, it was what I liked the most! Altogether, it's worth what I paid for, would highly recommend for anyone who is looking for the place to stay in Meateang, Chiang Mai!
Pros: This really is a beautiful place with a lot of adventurous activities near by. The staff was super friendly, always eager to please. My breakfast was ready every morning within minutes, without even needing to asking. Dinner there was especially tasty as well. With the elephant nature park and plenty of adventure tours near by I would highly recommend this place.
Pros: Cozy remote location close to the river.
Cons: The beds where a bit hard and the rooms a bit dark.
Pros: nice people, fantastic location, falling asleep hearing the elephants, great room, wonderful area
Pros: Excellent service! The staff and owners are really nice and helpful people that will do everything to make your stay perfect! We are looking back at a perfect stay!! The rooms are actually houses that are nice and clean and give a real Jungle experience. This area of Thailand offers a lot of recreational possibilities such as; rafting, meeting the elephants and enjoying nature.
Pros: Had the place to ourselves and had a great time in the pool. Staff were nice and breakfast was great. Its just a short walk to the river. They have fixed previous guests comments by adding blinds and some additional lights.
Cons: The bed is rock hard and they need replacing with modern mattresses for this price.
Pros: Every different breakfast. So perfect food. Quietness. Freshness.
Cons: The bell or interphone has to be on the counter.
Pros: Perfect location to enjoy nature. Quiet, somewhat secluded with easy access for the adventurer to go on guided tours in the jungle (ATV), rafting down the rapids on the Mae Taeng River, many elephant sanctuaries nearby. Hike to the waterfall or (if you’re younger than we are) all the way up the mountain behind the resort. Nice pool area. Good breakfast and lunch/supper menu items were tasty. Cultural immersion...bring your Google Translate app.
Cons: Sometimes it was difficult to find the staff to get another beer/service. They were VERY nice and didn’t want to disturb us...but then we had to get out of the pool, go to the area they were at, and ask for something. I would highly recommend they partner with a place for scooter rentals. There are so many little cafes, coffee shops, local restaurants, etc. where the adventurous person could explore. As it was, the 3rd night got a little boring for us city folks to find things to do without transportation. Plus the WiFi strength was poor or intermittent. No streaming movies, only 2 English speaking stations, no online games or similar because of the WiFi while chilling in our room. PS. with scooters I could easily stay a week.
Pros: Our hosts were amazing and always took care of us. We had a great elephant tour and visited a tea plantation and they brought us there. We got great self cooked food when ever we asked for it. The location was great. Near by the Mae Taeng river and 200 meters walking distance to an amazing waterfall. The rooms were clean and well equipped. We hope to come back one day.
Pros: The english speaking owners of the property are very friendly and go out of their way to make you stay enjoyable. There was a large selection of very tasty food on the menu. We really enjoyed staying in the mountains and were pleasantly surprised that a beautiful waterfall was only a 200m walk from the resort. There is lots to do in the area including tubing down the river, ATV rides, hiking and elephant sanctuaries are in abundance around this resort. This is a new resort but well worth staying at.

Pros: Food was excellent. Very friendly host and cat. Beautiful room looking over the river.
Pros: Excellent food and great host.
Cons: No time for the breakfast. Pool could have been cleaner.
Located in Mae Taeng, Le Cocotier Resort is within a 10-minute drive of Mae Ngad Dam and Reservoir and Mae Ngad Dam. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: A hidden oasis in the Chiang Mai countryside. Peaceful beautiful location. Very friendly and attentive staff. Great local food. Large comfortable rooms. Great opportunities for cycling provided.
Cons: Everything was great
Pros: Beautiful, peaceful, and quiet location surrounded by rice paddies and banana trees with mountain views. We live in Chiang Mai, so this was a welcome escape from the pollution and noise of the city. The property looks brand new, very clean. The beds are comfortable. Dinner was tasty (Khao soi). The staff and owner were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was included and was the Thai standard 'western' breakfast, overcooked eggs, and low quality hot dog/sausages and white bread. However, the coffee was excellent, not instant! Would recommend staying here!
Cons: Breakfast food. Room was a bit pricy, especially in the rainy season.
Pros: Very beautiful and peaceful place to stay . Friendly staff and always willing to help . Dinner and breakfast were great and tasty. The manager Alex is very nice guy and the next day it was raining heavily and he drived me to Buakaw village himself and took pic and video for me when i was training . Will come back . :)
Pros: The staff were attentive and the food was really delicious. The rooms are great and have beautiful views over the surrounding paddy fields and banana plantations. A very relaxing spot.
Cons: Plan and book your onward travel to Pai or Chiang Mai. The hotel can offer you a shuttle to the bus station but you may have to wait a long time for an available bus.
Pros: The spacious and impeccable rooms, the beautiful garden, the magnificent setting and the peaceful little local area makes it a must see. It's a nice and easy place to bike around with the whole family (no traffic at all on small country roads) or to just do a refreshing kayak trip to beat the heat on river and lake all organized conveniently for you by the lovely staff.
Pros: The cafeteria
Cons: The room is too small, no place for luggages and no tables. TV has no remote control.
Pros: beds are comfortable & feel relaxed, breakfast is good.
Pros: Large, comfortable rooms with superb views over the beautiful rice paddies and mountains. Great food and coffee, very friendly service. This resort is perfectly located for many great trips into the surrounding countryside - biking, hiking and kayaking are right on your doorstep and can all be arranged by the resort.
Pros: Our hosts were wonderful! The food was top level and we rcould realy relax and enjoy our time. We spent the afternoon and morning as a break on our way to Pai, but it turned out to be more than just a break- pure pleasure!
Pros: Beautiful get away spot. Our hosts were amazing! We were a little secluded from the activities and town but that's what we wanted. When we did want to do things they were willing to drive us when they were available.
Cons: Beds were uncomfortable
Pros: The hosts were amazing, both accommodating but not too in-your-face, giving us plenty of space to relax. The pool is perfect for taking a cooling dip after a delicious breakfast.

Pros: The garden the plants.
Cons: The room housekeeping was poor.
Pros: The resort is surrounded by mountains. The landscape is beautiful. The room is very nice.
Cons: Some menu in restaurant is not ok.
Pros: The grounds
Cons: All ok
Pros: The scenary around the resort and the views from the resort are amazing. Very easy to walk into the hills and long the river. Amazing locals and the elephant nature park is just short drive down the road.
Cons: The property was very quiet, with almost a deserted feel. The outdoor spa pool was not filled with water and the bar in the centre of the swimming pools was never open and filled with sun loungers. The resort has the potential to be an amazing retreat but for the few days we stayed it fell short of the mark.
Pros: Beautiful grounds. Huge pool. Lovely rooms. Excellent front desk staff. Good breakfast. Excellent cafe.
Cons: Food in restaurant was poor.
Pros: It was in a beautiful location perfect for elephants and countryside- nice big pool (though still a little chilly in Feb) lovely room, glorious bathroom. The coffee shop in the river was heaven with amazing coffee. Dinner ws delicious and it was only a 5 minute walk to eat road side if you wanted to. We did and ate very well for £6 for two with beers! And DO go to Thai Elephant Home: they do anything from a 2 hour feed, walk with and bathe elephants to a whole day and have an elephant baby nursery too!
Cons: Mini bar was not restocked and breakfast wasn’t great because it was Chinese new year and very much catering for that so for a european the choices were limited
Pros: Nice location and calm environment very friendly English speaking stuff
Cons: For a 10 points rating this place needs some redecoration. Especially the aircons ate too noisy. We came at Feb so we could switch it off at night
Pros: This is the second time for me in this paradisiac place. It is surrounded by nature and incredibly charming. My stay woul d have been perfect but...
Cons: ...We got badly POISONED by the food served to us at the restaurant of the resort!!!(in that moment it was only me and my boyfriend as clients). Shortly after the dinner, we both felt bad and spent an horrible night with vomit and diharrea and also a very unpleasant day after (better not to go into more details). The staff proposed us a 50%.discount for the dinner but I think that episodes like that should never happened, in particular at so high level. The food safety should go first decorations and furniture etc., and honestly a 50% discount is basically a ridicolous way to deal with this serious health issue which completely ruined our stay there and in Thailand.
Pros: We loved the secluded location of this resort and everything about it was so tranquil and beautiful. The staff went above and beyond to help us with activity bookings and any specific requests. The food at the restaurant was by far the best we've had in a resort.
Cons: This one thing we noticed was that on the second day our room started to have a sewage smell which was noticeable. Not sure if it's due to the green vegetation and the stream that was nearby our room.
Pros: Beautiful resort with superb surrounding. The atmosphere is more than perfect

Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. This hotel has 2 meeting rooms available for events. Pros: Everything was wonderful. We used this lovely base to vist our friends, up in the mountains, in Mae Rim and over on route 118. A perfect Festive Season after driving from/to our home in BKK.
Cons: Nothing to dislike for us. But, you do need your own transport to get around and vist the excellent nearby attractions (the temple 1 km up the road maybe the best in Chiang Mai area) and Chiang Mai city.
Pros: Arrived late and they up-graded the room to a great view accross the rice fields. Nothing seemed to much to make our stay more comfortable.
Pros: Comfortable bed, beautiful bathroom and bedroom, views were incredible.
Pros: The view from the rooms
Cons: Mattress not soft, Thai style. The food was soso
Pros: The owner is a very nice young person who was very erlcoming and when i complained that the bed in our room was not comfortable to us she immediately upgraded us to a better room with bettet beffing and it wa perfect to us!
Pros: The restaurant served the best food I tasted throughout the whole of Thailand. This coupled with the standard of service from management to housekeeping has undoubtedly made Phusanfah Resort a highlight of my trip this year.
Pros: Very nice staff who tried to make our stay very comfortable. Location convenient if you want to visit elephant places nearby. Elegant rooms. Nice breakfast
Cons: Our villa was separated from the hotel grounds by a traffic road - very odd and inconvenient location to place guests.. Our villa doors were close to impossible to close and lock from the inside- the stuff to their credit offered to move us to other rooms but we chose to stay as we were there for 1 night only. Pricy dinner. Signature recommend fried rice in pineapple shell was too sweet and bland in Thai standards so not very authentic taste in my opinion
Pros: Accommodation nicely presented
Cons: Location in the middle of nowhere and the hotel charged 1200 baht for a half an hour taxi journey from the airport. Check in staff didn't speak English which meant they couldn't answer any of our questions.

Pros: This private cabin is surrounded by an amazing garden full of a variety of fruits, herbs and beautiful flowers. The room has large glass windows from floor to ceiling that provide plenty of natural light and makes you feel like you are in a tropical garden. There is a private porch and rooftop patio that also offers a great view of the gardens. The host Nuan was very kind, and treated us like family. She took time to show us around the neighborhood on bicycles (which are included with the stay). She also provided a healthy, hearty breakfast and dinner from ingredients that were grown mainly on the property. We would highly recommend this homestay!
