Room very comfortable, clean and quiet. Didn't like the staff who were somewhat indifferent to us and other guests. Staff could do with improving on their customer skills.
Friendly and helful staff, good location (5 minutes from Versailles, and I am sure in summer Golf players enjoy the stay and the swimming pool). it was very calm, children friendly and we had an excellent dinner in the hotel's restaurant (very good quality!)
Well located for travellers from Calais to the South of France. Quiet location The pillows were absolutely appalling - like light marshmallow - and that made it impossible to get a good night's sleep. The restaurant and bar personnel had the classic Parisian indifference to good service, which should have been trained out of them.
Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Room service dinner ordered 9pm took 1h40 to arrive. As some consolation, they removed any charge for this without question.
Helpfull, English speaking staff, excellent facilities, very clean No English tv channels
You can walk to the famous all-france-open golf course. Some staffs are not kind. Hard to find the hotel.
Quiet and accessible
Golf and tennis courts, swimming pool. Close to Versales and miniature France park. Free wi-fi. Breakfast for extra pay
the staff was very helpfull. The accomodation was ok.
Really liked the relaxed atmosphere in the bar. The cleanliness of the bed linen and the bathroom. And the service by all staff was exceptional.
The rooms in the Pavilion where we stayed were tastefully decorated, the beds were extremely comfortable, and everything was spotless. Room service was great - prompt and tasty. The highlight was the spa, I had a really fantastic prenatal massage that got rid of all aches and pains. The air-conditioning unit in the room was impossible to figure out! Luckily the windows opened so when it was a little stuffy we were able to air the room.
I loved the grounds and our little girl loved playing in there. The room was lovely and spacious and the staff were excellent.
Trianon Palace is a beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. The room we had was spacious and comfortable. The grounds are a pleasure to walk through. It is conveniently placed for the town and the Palace of Versailles. The staff are polite and attentive. One of the lifts was not working when we arrived and was still not working when we left. The one lift that was working was very slow. The hotel is very expensive. This is to be expected for a hotel of this quality, buIt is particularly noticeable when you add up the extras - parking is 20 euros per night, breakfast is 33 euros.
The hotel was fantastic, I used to stay in good hotels, but I've never stayed in a hotel like Trianon. Bring nice clothes to get confortable. nothing
Excellent service and comfort Desk was unclear about what was included in all-inclusive deal.
It was near the event I was attending so few minures walk to return hotel which was good Everything was so so slow. Wait for food 30 minutes, wait to finish checking-in for 30 minutes.
Great location, comfortable bed, superb location. Did not like staying in the pavillion... Would prefer to be in the main building. Had to request baby cot and roll out bed twice!
Nicely refdecorated hotel offering a great location for the Chateau de Versailles. Large comfortable room. Staff are very helpful. Internet very slow connection. Breakfast is quite expensive
You can't ask for a closer location to the Palace of Versailles and the parking is priceless. Cafes to the hotel nearby sell tickets to the Palace. We didn't take the breakfast but probably should have. Nearby cafes were very expensive.
The distance to the castle and conference location
Great location. Very clean rooms. Nice decor. Lovely staff. Good wifi in our room. We bought our own breakfast and were told we could not eat the rooms. They were still so accommodating in the dining room while we ate our own stuff.
The location of the hotel was very good. The staff at the reception was very nice and helpful. Breakfast facilities were poor. No, it was living up to my expectations.
the hotel was recently renewed. Room really small, the soap/shower gel never filled in in 5 days...
The hotel was near the Versailles Chateau, about 7 min walking. The staff was friendly, there is a parking garage and it is near the RER station for Paris. The breakfast was in standard, also the room.
The hotel was clean and the staff were lovely. The rooms were of a high standard, much better than the amount of stars that the hotel has ! The location was a bit hard to find, but was close to the chateau and the train stations. The nearby restaurants were also varied and very good. I would recommend this hotel highly.
Recently renovated, modern and clean, very good value for money. Offstreet parking for €11. Would recommend.
location, parking, efficient rooms, breakfast access from garage with luggage. elevator blocked with cars had to use stairs with luggage. not a small issue as we had been traveling for over a month.
Simple but effective! Tried to charge us 12 euro each for breakfast but no problem changing to 9.80 when we queried it
convenient for markets and restaurants
very small room and bed, medieval
Location. The staff was very helpful. The room was a bit small, but you are there to see things not sit in a hotel room.
Great location. Within minutes of the chateau. Very small room even in EUROPEAN standards.
Personal was nice The hot water did not work the first night. After that it worked
Location is amazing. Right across street from Paris train and Starbucks next door!! Bathroom needs a little more work (cleanliness).
Reasonable proximity to Versailles Small room for 3 people
Good Value for money, close to supermarket
Hotel very clean and quiet. Hotel staff nice
With the smoking ban now extended to France the opening onto the hotel grounds was a boon. In the bathroom the shower head was fitted about 2 metres off the bath floor. Ok for people of restricted growth but not very appropriate for average height people.
very quiet hotel in the country near von Versailles or Paris with the high way
Close to Versaille and Paris
Clean and good after hours service. The toilet extraction fan does not seem to work very well.
Convenient for visiting Paris and Versailles Although it was relatively out of the way, it was not quiet during the night as it's in the middle of an industrial estate. Also a coach party arrived around 11:30pm and the coach sat with its engine running for about 20minutes. The shower didn't work as the pipe was full of holes.
The room and bath were clean and in nice condition. The hotel has free wireless internet, which we find very useful. We arrived at the hotel about 17:00, on July 13th. The door was locked, and there was no one at the reception desk. A page on the door showed our name, as a new arrival, and indicated the room number where we would be staying, but we could not enter through the locked door. A message said to call the hotel phone number, but we had no phone to call from. Another hotel guest eventually let us in, and told us the combination to the electronic lock on the hotel door. Our key was in the door to our room. The next morning, a receptionist was at the hotel desk.
The whole experience was a great experienceN
I really loved the atmosphere here and the close access to all the special areas in Versailles. They need to work on storage while staying for longer visits. They need draw space and a little bit newer furniture at this price level.
Very close to all facilities in Versailles Inability of the reception staff to properly recognise an Accor A-Club member
fitness and sauna The restaurant and the breakfast room were closed and we had to wait our turn for the brekfast
Close to Versailles palace, quite hotel, friendly staff. Renovation overall is needed.
Very expensive as 4 stars hotel, with normal rooms and normal facilities charging for the internet Wi Fi connection is not necessary since they are charging high rates for the rooms, good hotels provids Wi Fi free as a facility,
Location is perfect, near the Chateau. Interior is very modern, not inviting. Bathrooms need makeover: shower in bath etc. Very small and badly equiped wellness, turkish bath was out of order
The location of this hotel was excellent, just 200m walk from the front door of the Château - there is nothing better. The staff was excellent, helpfully pointing out the lovely square close by that was full of great restaurants. The breakfast was not worth the cost. We should have gone out for breakfast, but as we wanted to beat the crowds we had no easy choice.
Excellent loction near to Chateau de Versailles, very friendly and helpful staff, hotel very neat although somewhat impersonal, free wifi. Own covered garage None.
Location ideal for visiting the Palais de Versailles. Friendly and efficient staff at reception and conciergerie. Bathroom rather 'cramped'. Some attention to decoration (e.g. peeling paint) needed.
Room was a good size and very clean. Bathroom was excellent. Food and service in the restaurant were a real let down.
Better facilities than many in the immediate vicinity, good, value for money, restaurant, friendly helpful staff Poor English language TV!
Spacious room and bed. Crisp and clean linen. Helpful and professional staff. Excellent value. Quiet location.
The room was very clean with excellent bathroom facilities, and the beds very comfortable with quality bed linen. very limited for food on the evening we stayed. But breakfast did make up for that, although a little bit too expensive.
Nice, spacious room. Very noisy party going on downstairs.
rooms are big, quiet area it was a little cold in the room, but nothing could be done with the heating system
We stayed here because the Novotel at Versailles was full. If you have a car and a satnav this is a great spot to be based to see Versailles and Paris. The hotel is in a village surrounded by fields. Versailles is 15 / 20 mins drive - park in front of the palace in the huge car park.Paris (Trocadero / Eiffel Tower car parks) is 25 / 30 mins drive. Without a car, this hotel is probably too far out. Room big and comfortable. Helpful staff. Good breakfast.
that the hotel cleaning staff were always smiling and helpful and that even with a full day of conferences they and the front desk and the kitchens did not forget us simple visitors
Reasonably close to Versailles (15-20 mins drive), very good value for money for a Novotel. Although it's close to a busy road it was surprisingly quiet. Not many dining alternatives if you're not prepared to drive; no luggage storage facilities (we wanted to leave our bikes somewhere secure and ended up bringing them into our room overnight!)
Lots to do for children Room price was good, Restaurant and Bar were over-priced
Nice clean room. Staff polite but very busy/understaffed so was difficult to get served in the bar
The food was pretty good and plenty to do with the kids.
Garden and swimming pool were excellent for the kids. Very child-friendly atmosphere: playing corner, special kid-menus, etc. Room was extremely warm (no airconditioning).
Large free parking lot available, clean room Not really friendly staff, bad smell in the corridors, french style bathrooms, few TV chains
The hotel is centeraly located near the train station (1 min.).
The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. They went to great lengths to ensure all our enquiries were dealt with properly. Nothing open at the weekend. No bar or restaurant. Very dissapointing.
Reasonably priced and equipped. Close to restaurants and a walking distance to the business center in Guyancourt. I plan to stay there again.
The restaurant and bar were closed on Sunday. Breakfast was incomplete most of the times.
staff were excellent, room was very clean, hotel was very "cute" very romantic
Decor good, breakfast good, breakfast room charming. Bedroom a little small for a delux,
Good location Being given incorrect information about location of petrol stations that sent us across town when there was one just around the corner
Staff very helpfull and friendly location very good warm cosy homely room seize very good for France very modern good breakfast
The hotel was lovely, staff were very friendly, Room was spotless, Would recommend for people wanting a more traditional place to stay rather than a large commercial hotel that crop up everywhere nowadays.
On both nights there were only enough towels, toiletries etc for one person. On both occasions this was pointed out to Reception who promply forgot to deliver the missing items. Bathroom lacked any ventilation and room filled with condensation. Room far from 'deluxe'
Very close to the Palace of Versailles and various restaurants, hotel adequate for our needs of 2 nights
Concierge was especially helpful and gracious. I loved that I was able to open the window in my room. Small bathroom . A little musty when I moved in.
Friendly and helpful Rooms were small for family room
The hotel is located near a beautiful park and a lake, the way to the center of Guyancourt through this park is very pleasant, though rather long. The hotel staff is very polite and well-disposed. Internet service is comfortable. The air conditioner was not effective enough during such a hot weather that was at the end of June, 2010. The table and chair in the room are good for the, but are not suitable for a work with paper and documents. A translucent curtain made of white tulle should be hung on the window, as the window looking at a car park, where inside the room is clearly visible.
Restaurant and staff organization ( very kind ) - I chosen this hotel for its position and its fair.
Functional room, good dinner and breakfast. Friendly helpful staff. Free internet that actually worked!
The rooms were small (but clean and stylish) and had no air conditioning except a window.
Good sized room. Nice view over courtyard. No availability of table for evening meal in preferred dining room and for preferred menu, even though we arrived at 6.00 p.m. and the restaurants were not due to open until 7.30 p.m. Wedding party went on late into the night disturbing our sleep. Expensive charge for breakfast. Disinterested staff.
Bathrooms were very clean. Staff pleasant. No pool or tennis courts. Beds very saggy; bedding cheap - pillows infirm and blanket and sheet instead of a duvet is archaic. It is too far away from any amenities meaning you either have to spend every hour there or drive to anywhere you want to go and pay for parking, making sure you have change for all the car parks and parking meters in your purse - bring a huge bag of change with you! Ville d'Avray not particularly nice. Hotel should offer a minibus service to Versailles and Paris. There is no incentive to stay there when you could be in a city centre hotel. I am also unsure how it has four stars as it lacks leisure facilities.
Our room was large and had a view of the lake and trees. We saw another room which was much smaller but still very well furnished and with views to the lake. The food is very good but relatively expensive. The restaurant is by the lake, request a lakeside table if you want to enjoy the view. The restaurant is covered but open on the sides.
Charming Hotel, lovely decor, good food. Gardens and courtyards were particularly attractive being on different levels with interesting plants and flowers. We loved it. Nothing. Would definitely go again. Maybe the lack of lifts and the many steps would not be suitable for older and infirm people.
The room was comfortable and spacious and the food in the Cafe restuarant was of a good standard The hotel were preparing for three functions and the staff were so engaged with these, we received rather poor service. To get pre dinner drinks we had to find the barman and we had the feeling that as ordinary guests we were not looked after. Additionally the Hotel itself is difficult to locate (even with Satnav} and also access to the underground car parkl is not easy. For a luxury hotel the bedding was sub-standard. The implication on the website was that the hotel stood in extensive grounds. This is not the case, it merely backs into a public park and lake.
