The rooms and bathrooms were very clean and reasonably comfortable. The facility felt secure. It was quiet after midnight. If you hang out in the nightlife until midnight And return to the hotel only then I think it is a great location.
NOISE!!! This hotel is across from Sid’s pub and around the corner from Jonker Walk. Unfortunately the NOISE from the weekend night activity, bands playing, the decorated rickshaws with BOOM boxes, meant you have no peace in your room from 8pm to about midnight... at a time when some of us are winding down for sleep. Breakfast was OK but nothing to write home about. This morning it was coconut rice, a hard boiled egg, serving of green spinach like vegetable, white bread toast. Yesterday an egg with porridge, toast. Day before, noodles with an egg, toast. All in all, the only real issue was the noise. I would not stay here again because of that.
Breakfast was simple. They served bread with jam, egg food and so on. It's just simple breakfast.
Bathroom was too small. It was too narrow to take a shower. Toilet space was extremly not enough and it was uncomfortable.
The staff are very friendly
The hotel is located at the end of Jonkers Street. Its near all the attractions such as The Stadhuys, Ruins of St Paul Church and even the river cruise. We booked the twin room and we got 2 single beds which felt like a king bed. The room rate also came with free breakfast (kway teow woth sunny side egg and toast with variety of jams with a selection of coffee or tea) All in all our stay was great. It was near the night market but as our room is facing the other side it was rather quiet. All in all it was a great value for money amd for sure we will stay again.
Too bad we werent able to take advantage of the viewing deck which was nice :)
I love the family oriented atmosphere. Cleaniss.and welcome attitude.
Room with window facing the streets. Very noisy. Coz of trishaws music loud
