High in the Eastern Sierra under a great ski mountain, the SureStay Plus by Best Western Mammoth Lakes makes a comfortable base in Mammoth Lakes, California, under the ski runs. Mammoth Mountain's slopes and bike park rise just up the road for winter skiing and summer trails, the alpine lakes, hot springs and meadows of the basin spread close by, and the columnar basalt of Devil’s Postpile and the spray of Rainbow Falls sit a short drive off. Yosemite's high country opens over Tioga Pass in the warmer months. Newly renovated rooms and a free breakfast round out the stay, with dining and the village close by. The slopes and bike park of the ski mountain rise just up the road, the alpine lakes, hot springs and trails of the basin spread close by, and the basalt columns of Devil’s Postpile and the falls along the river sit a short drive off. Mountain bikers and anglers fill the summers. Bodie's ghost town and the blue water of Mono Lake lie a short drive north.

This hotel was a very bad experience for us. No hot water, it was freezing cold and dangerously on the body. Was told it would be fixed and never was. And we are still waiting for our refund back.

Pros (+) Nothing to like!!!! I don’t normally write reviews, but I needed to for this place, to save anyone else from staying there, don’t stay here, you will regret it!
Cons (-) It was absolutely terrible, the room was disgusting, outlets didn’t work, shower/tub had a hole in it, lights didn’t work, hair dryer didn’t work. Really bad!!!

Pros (+) I didn't like anything but the location.
Cons (-) The moldy tub, nasty carpet, intermittent hot water, terrible breakfast, empty hot tub, crazy loud air conditioner, missing smoke alarms, musty smells, giant hole in ceiling where the bathroom fan goes and to top it off the broken fridge that ruined our snacks. The worst.! Would rather stay in my car in a blizzard.
