I had a room booked 2 weeks in advance. When I arrived at the hotel for check in, at 1h00 AM (after 4h of driving), there was nobody a t the front desk. I waited until 2H00AM. Nobody showed up. I left. They refunded me without any argument, tough. To me, your stay is in jeopardize if you plan to arrive late. You may not get to your room!
The room was very clean. The beds were comfortable. It was very quiet and easy to go to bed. The pool wasn't open even though they advertised that it was.
This was an UNquality Inn 1) Room phone did not work 2) Bathtub stopper did not work -- no bath tub use 3) Bathtub control knob was broken -- could not regualte temperature of incoming water
everything you need is right there cant think of anything
I drove in to the parking lot and never checked in. It is not three stars- maybe 1 star. Run down, random people hanging out in the parking lot. When I asked for a refund the front desk was rude and hung up on me.
Ok- so it's not the Ritz! It's Brattleboro Baby! It's a nice place where an amazing pool-spa area (looked at but never used it). I enjoyed my stay, pleasent people, complimentary breakfast. I liked not dealing w a chain. I'll stay again.
Dog friendly with a large area to walk the dog and outside waste cans. One of the dog friendly rooms was clean but had damage
good value na
Beds and Breakfast Hot tub was not Broken and after a day of skiing that's what I needed!! Hotel offered no compensation.
We needed to stay overnight in a hotel where we could feel at home. We like the roomy proportions of the Hampton Inn chain. The rooms are big enough so you can breathe, the decor pleasantly restrained and the breakfast outstanding.
The room was very clean & comfortable. Front desk was very helpful. Will definitely be back!
The location was convenient to recreation and shopping. Rather bizarre, but, because of a major design flaw, the toilet seats could not be left open, which is rather inconvenient especially for the male guests.
Waffles at Breakfast NO
It was good and meet the need at the time. No elevator, at times it was noisey.
Close to town, and the room had a working refrigerator There was an extremely broken Lazy Boy chair, which literally collapsed sideways. When reported, the lady at the front desk said, "um, okay". Nothing was done and it could hurt the next person. It snowed and the driveway was not plowed and had 10+ inches of snow to drive through. The bedding looked barely cleaned, and linty. No heavy blanket, summer coverlet in winter.
Close distance to McDonalds was good. Close distance to highway was also good. Breakfast was good. Too small space in the breakfast room.
Room was very clean and comfortable. Good value for the money. Also included a continental breakfast.
Extraordinary bargain for a room off the highway while traveling. We just needed to sleep before continuing our drive and the hotel was perfect for what we needed. The room smelled a little bit and the sheets should have been cleaner. The bathroom desperately needs a remodel/renovation, but considering the room costs less than dinner, I have nothing to complain about.
Bed was so comfy but I wish they had bigger pillows. I would stay again!
Friendly staff. Smelt like smoke. Very loud neighbors.
Good value and easy experience without alot of paperwork etc .
The price, the generous breakfast, the comfortable room.
the price was right people hanging out around the doors and the smoke
THE LOCATION. The lumpy bed that was covered with foam topper and the noisy air conditioner.
Stay was nice and comfortable. Breakfast included; I was able to bring breakfast back to room as well. Nice staff. Pool & hot tub were closed (our reason for picking this hotel, so it was disappointing). There are not a lot to do in the area. 45 minutes from mount snow.
From booking to extending my stay, Lynn was super-accommodating and warm. The Crosby House was immaculate with much attention to detail. The breakfast was not only from scratch but made fresh with delicious fresh fruit and a hot entrée, served in a beautiful intimate dining room. The other couple that were at breakfast were gluten-free and Lynn provided gluten-free, individualized breakfasts for them! I will go back for sure and recommend this bed and breakfast, it is worth paying the additional cost and you get much more in return than staying at the local hotel chains.
Breakfast, cleanliness, comfort

Great location, clean, modern and comfortable in every aspect. restaurant in same parking lot, breakfast in the morning and very good WiFi.
The place can't be very old. It is in great conditions. Everything exceeded all expectations.
Clean modern updated nice staff breakfast Shower floor slippery
It was nice and clean! The bed was so comfortable too! Also, even though I was on 1st floor near ice machine I couldn't really hear it, and got a good night sleep. My cardkey kept deactivating, and finally 3rd time a staff member told me it's my cell phone deactivating it. Breakfast could have been better as the scrambled eggs were a little watery and there wasn't even a waffle maker, but it wasnt bad though.
Very nice, large and clean room which provide not only space for sleeping but also extra space for more people to sit together.

The staff is very nice. The hotel is new and everything is so clean.
Wonderful old (but nicely renovated) hotel in the heart of Brattleboro's downtown with its many restaurants, cafes, bookstores and other shops. A live theater and four movie screen in the building! Friendly staff and cool guests.
The hotel is a historic building with an amazing theater. It is close to anything downtown and the parking is so convenient. A bit of street noise.
I loved that it was centrally located and I could leave the car parked for the weekend. Staff were very nice and the continental breakfast was terrific.
The fixtures were old but it had character.it was very clean i would stay there again.
Service was great, check in took under 2 minutes, and the guy working the desk was very helpful & polite. The room didn't have an iron, but the front desk had one available without hassle. Everything was clean & orderly. Very bare-bones, but value was way above the $50 price tag. As a single guy just passing through, I couldn't more highly recommend this place. It's just splitting hairs here, but the laminate floors were a little odd, and the shower had water droplets sitting in the tub upon arrival. Really don't have anything negative to say.
Cheap Very basic
The room itself was nicer than I had expected. It was set up in a way that made it feel spacious. It had a small table and chairs which was nice for working remotely. We were woken up at 8am by someone walking into our room. There was never a knock on the door as housekeeping usually does. Someone used a key card to access our room. Once the door was open my dog started barking and as we struggled to figure out what was going on in our sleepy stupor, we heard a man say "sorry" and the door was quickly closed. When we walked outside no one was in sight. Shortly after our rude awakening, my husband went outside for a cigarette. He stepped out into the balcony and hadn't even put the lighter to the cig when a man from the next room came running out threatening to call the cops because it's against the law to smoke within 25 ft of the rooms. Which my husband wasn't aware of at the time. We arrived late in the evening the night before and while the hotel did give us a notice about this policy, I had made the bed for us and he hadn't seen the notice. The man who threatened the police was wearing a Motel 6 shirt and we believe this is the same man who entered our room. Later that morning while my husband was rearranging and repacking the vehicle, this SAME man stood just a few feet behind him and watched the entire time. Not wanting to deal with any altercations, my husband didn't say anything to him and just went about his business. When checking out I brought all of these concerns up to the women at the front desk. I was met with deer in headlight looks as I shared my morning's excitement. They apologized and said they believe it was one of the maintenance crew members who I was referring to. I was assured the cops would not be called (which was the least of my worries!). The complete lack of and violation of our privacy was my biggest concern! They did not seem to care so much about that.
The Inn keeper-owner was excellent and very helpful. Retro décor was really cool
nothing everything... it was depressing. They had people living there in one room with 3 children. Drug addicts etc...
Simple, unassuming road motel Some minor maintenance issues
There are newer rooms on the second floor. Stay only in one of those! The room was dirty and the decorating was awful. When asked if I could change rooms, the manager was not friendly and told me there was nothing she could do. Eventually we were given another room that wasn't much better, but at least it was not surrounded by smokers having a tail gate bbq in front of the room! The shower stall was a module unit that needed cleaning and the door would not close. The night tables were sticky. The breakfast offered is meager and I had to ask for milk and cereal since they containers were empty. The pool was in need of work , it didn't even have enough water in it to reach the filters.
Comfortable bed for sleeping. Vermont is too beautiful to spend any time in the room except to sleep. Old worn carpet, old furniture, damp small bathroom. Bathroom sink drained poorly. No protein sources for breakfast!
Clean and secure, nice location Rooms smelled like smoke, did not honor Kayak price, cigarette burns on bed and bathroom vanity. Being the cheapest hotel in town it attracted the lowlifes who figured it normal to yell and scream outside until 2am about wanting to buy and modify a MF Landover and drive around with the " homies" bathroom was tiny and took about 5 minutes to actually get hot water. No room thermostat to control temperature.
