Pros: An absolute gem of a B&B in a beautifully restored building run by a very friendly team who own the facility and can provide good advice (and maps) on the local area. Incredibly comfy bed (which is easy to accidentally fall asleep in) and fantastic breakfast.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Kind and friendly gentleman host, went out of his way to feed us on arrival! Room small but lovely and very comfortable cosy bed. Bathroom compact , nicely done, plenty of towels etc. Excellent breakfast with good coffee.
Cons: Streets are narrow, hard to navigate but we found our way around and somewhere handy to park.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Way surpasses what most B&B's deliver. Characterful old building, lovingly restored, tasteful decor, beautiful furniture and fittings/tec bang up to date. Room ultra comfortable, extra large bed and great shower. Janne, charming owner and host, is warm, helpful and a natural with guests; chef Jasper is at the top of his game so breakfast is something to look forward to while Christina is a front of house asset. A great team (from Sweden)) showing the French how it's done!
Cons: Struggling to find anything negative. Property was initially hard to find as this old part of town is a maze of interlinking small streets. However once you got your bearings, it was very close to the port and other central spots.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything; the care and attention to detail the owners take with looking after the property and guests is amazing. Total dedication, being British our table was set for breakfast with a UK newspaper, the breakfast was of the highest quality and filling, the premise is cleaned both in and out, with Philippe taking care of the outside areas daily, getting down and hand cleaning when required. There is also garage parking for several cars which is appreciated, as is the fridge in the room. The property is a short walk to the centre and also the Marina.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: So well furnished and very comfortable.Andrea and her husband have done an amazing renovation and clearly work very hard to please their guests. Particularly like the option to buy beer, wine and plates of charcuterie, cheese, tapas rather than have to hunt for a restaurant when you don’t really want to. Slept really well -aircon as well as a big comfy bed. We had a ground floor room with small terrace so personalised breakfast service. Such good value for money. Thank you! Great choice. Highly recommend.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved the atmosphere. It was like staying at a friends house, the use of their pool, lovely garden to have breakfast in, great breakfast as well, and the hosts were great. Plus air con!
Cons: Nothing really other than a better window curtain in our room and a small mirror over the writing table so I could put my make up on but that’s only minor.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely breakfasts. Lovely hostess.
Cons: Cupboards in our room were difficult to see in to and use because of their position in the hallway. Just a small thing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The very warm welcome, the lovely large rooms with great bathroom facilities and nice touches such as bathrobes and slippers. We loved the relaxing outside space and the breakfast was fantastic. The host really cares for the comfort of her guests and we had a lovely stay.

Pros: Very pleasant and helpful hosts, who provided us with info where to eat and where to visit. Nice breakfast too. The provision of two fans was most welcome for the warm evenings
Cons: Our room was on the top floor accessible only by a stone spiral staircase, but you have to remember this is a very old house full of character.

Cons: A bit confused about the location
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
9.3 Excellent
Pros: We loved our stay! The place is beautiful, done with very good taste. The staff is very kind. The bedrooms have a nice size, the beds are very comfortable. The products they offer for showering smell very good and are without chemicals. We also used the SPA and the restaurant and both are top quality. Nothing bad to say about it. We definitely recommend this place to stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful and peaceful location. Entire premise is developed very natural and sustainable - no plastics at all. Perfect pool with warm water. Excellent team of young persons is really nice and user friendly (they cleaned my front car glass). We will come again
Cons: Everything is incredible.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Lovely staff, pool area is very peaceful. Dinner was excellent but make sure you book with plenty of time as they only do 30 covers and they are fully booked every night. A beautiful luxury stay - thank you!
Cons: Breakfast was quite expensive for just a continental breakfast although it was very tasty and so fresh with many ingredients from their own vegetable garden
6.3 Good
Pros: Great concept and design, spacious room, amazing sunset views from our terrace, highly recommended restaurant, friendly team, lovely pool with plenty of places in the shadow
Cons: The hotel construction isn’t finished and it should have been marketed as “soft opening”: from noisy constructions next to the pool to open pipes in the room, from no toilets by the pool (yet) to no internet, from machinery in front of our room to many topless workers, etc. The team is also quite junior - while they make a good effort (e.g. arranged delicious lunch despite closed kitchen) some appeared helpless at times (e.g. inability to set up a table for breakfast). Our criticism was received with a bottle of wine but little appreciation of the points we raised.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Pretty and secluded
Cons: The room. Was not well planned.
6.3 Good
Pros: The food in the restaurant is very good!
Cons: The room could have been more clean. Breakfast was good, but there was no variation and no possibility to order something warm.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff were lovely, very attentive and the accommodation perfect. The breakfast, sitting on the terrace in the sun was perfect. The lovely girl that served us told us that they were proud to serve local food and it was excellent. We didn't get a chance to use the Spa facilities as we were there just one night, but we will next time! The pool was lovely. The rooms were of a good size and the bed was amazingly comfortable. And huge! Loved the fact that it had a practical walk in shower plus an indulgent tub to soak in. Absolutely loved it and can't wait to go back again soon.
Cons: They have only just opened and there are still a few snagging issues but it's going to be perfect. We ate at St Bart that night (one of my favourite places to eat) and booked this hotel as it's owned by the same family and I was told it was just next door. Unfortunately it isn't. The hotel offered bikes and said it's a 15 minute ride.(not ideal in long dresses) A suggestion would be to offer a taxi/tuctuc ? As it's owned by the same family? Not complaining though! I loved it!

Excellent value for money @ 90euro a night. Very highly recommended.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was so comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful. The owners were extremely helpful and friendly. A very pretty little property. We arrived early in the morning but was welcomed and told our room was ready for us. The little town is a pretty diversion for a couple of night's break. You would never know there was a swimming pool tucked away at the back. Would definitely recommend to anyone but don't really want to share such a lovely gem to everyone!
Cons: Nothing. (But be aware it's cash only at the property so put some aside for that)

Pros: Very friendly, helpful host with nice sense of humor. Charming authentic vintage interior. Room was very spacious and even contained fireplace. Stay at this B&B left very positive impression.
Cons: Private parking available, but it is located not that close to the apartments. You definitely need to wake up earlier to get more abundant breakfast. WiFi might be a problem.

5.5 Okay
Pros: It is in a great location
Cons: We felt like we were imposing in the hosts home. And all the doors squeaked really badly
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful old house with many period features, yet immaculately maintained and with all mod cons - AC, WiFi, etc. Charming host. Copious continental breakfast. Short (easily walkable) distance to shops, bank, restaurants and the Canal du Midi. Very quiet street - no noise. We found a parking place nearby (but we might have been a bit lucky in this respect!)
Cons: A very minor irritation was that our bathroom, although private (i.e. for our use only), nevertheless involved walking across a small landing in public view. And it had a hand held shower head (no wall mounting), a personal bete noir, but my wife loved it as part of an old style free-standing bath.

Chambres d'Hôtes Cosy - Marseillan - Building
12
8.9 Excellent (54 reviews)
9.5 Excellent
Cons: A lovely chambres d'hôtes and charming and friendly owners. Excellent breakfast.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great stay, nice hosts, in the middle of the charming city centre.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Christel and Vincent are wonderful hosts! We were made to feel so welcome even with our late arrival. They were very helpful too, giving us practical assistance whenever we needed it - and going beyond that at times. The décor throughout the house is inspiring - a pleasing mix of country chic with modern accents. The owners certainly have the artistic touch. Good sized rooms with high ceilings and all comforts. Breakfasts on a wonderful terrace under a leafy pergola. Freshly squeezed juice, fresh bread and croissants, homemade jams, great coffee, yoghurt with fruits and nuts. A perfect beginning to each day in a magical setting. Perfect location in the middle of the village, close to everything, harbour, shops, restaurants, markets.
Cons: No complaints with our accommodation or location. If you want to relax totally without exploring other places then Marseillan is the right spot. We didn´t have a car but that´s not necessary for exploring Marseillan or enjoying long walks along the coastline. If you want to visit nearby towns/villages, the buses work fairly well until the end of September. After that, the service is limited. Unfortunately for people without cars, Marseillan is not on the railway line. There are not many buses from Marseillan to Agde or Séte which have railway stations. People without cars should be aware that the beach, Marseillan Plage is 5km away. If you are staying longer than a few days and have a car, then Marseillan would be a perfect base. Peaceful and clean and "just big enough".
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Christel & Vincent were brilliant and welcoming hosts. Breakfast was good and our room was clean and comfortable. Excellently located in the town, easy walk to the port or centre.
Cons: Booking.com says each room has private bathroom, but this isn't the case. Our room had a shower, but it was a shared toilet, situated opposite.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: A hidden gem, nice decor, VIP feel, super nice host, fantastic breakfast at the oasis like balcony....
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast on the outside terrace was a wonderful way to start the day. The fresh fruit and juices heaven. Coffee magical.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast with house made superb juice.
6.8 Good
Pros: B&B in an charming and nicely decorated and maintained old three story house in close proximity to all there is to see in Marseillan. Very comfortable bed. Friendly cat! They lent me a bike from their collection, albeit one with no brakes and a non functioning gear change.
Cons: I have stayed in a few of these "boutique" B&Bs as chill out time between business activities, which was my reason for staying in here. One thing I have always found is that there is usually a superb breakfast and a great welcome at these sort of places. No so here. The breakfast served to the table consisted of one croissant, a small pot of yogurt, a cup of coffee and a glass of juice. I spent three nights there but my room was never made up at any time throughout my stay. The owner's disengaged attitude is summed up by a response to my issue with the shower , a shrug of the shoulders and the response "I think you need to pull something". My impression is that their heart is not in this operation. For 100 Euro per night very disappointing.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: design and location
Cons: the bathroom situation was very awkward for two couples - a separation curtain would be a good idea
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hosts and breakfast on the terrace. We enjoyed Marseillan and this cosy appt.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Lovely characterful old house with original french windows and pretty garden. The owner was very welcoming and helpful, including coming to find us after we missed the entrance to the bnb, and leading us to the airport the next morning. We were offered a welcoming glass of wine or juice on arrival! Beziers Airport is only 5 mins away. Breakfast in the garden with many interesting kinds of jam! Great to have kettle in the room.

7.0 Good
Pros: Very quirky interesting building being situated in an old winery. The parents of the owner looking after the hotel were very nice. Comfortable beds.
Cons: The main reason for visiting was to use the restaurant but it was closed due to the chef owner being on holiday.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Interesting and unusual building with stylish decor. Evening meal of very high quality. Friendly owner.
Cons: On-site parking very limited. Breakfast heavy on pastries - availability of yoghurt and fruit would improve it.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely converted wine cellar ,lovely home made bread and pastries,Quiet location, can leave bikes safely
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Arriving on a cold, wet January night, straight from the airport, the host gave us a warm welcome and it was lovely to sit round a roaring wood burner with a complimentary apero, chatting to other guests. The dinner, prepared by the host's husband, is not too be missed, with excellent, home cooked, regional food. It was the highlight of our brief stay. The breakfast, too, was mainly home made (freshly squeezed orange juice, brioche, excellent jams and pain au raisin) though I would have been glad to have the option of a less carbohydrate-heavy breakfast. The room was comfortable, in a quirky way, and the decor of the whole place is unusual (it is situated in a converted wine Chai, somewhat industrial in style)
Cons: There were no real problems, though the concrete floors throughout were a little chilly on a cold January night. It would have been lovely in summer!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Lady owner was very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was excellent. Room was comfortable. A lovely conversion of an old winery.
Cons: Parking limited and very narrow, hard to manoeuvre. Washbasin in room needs fixing, cracks and loose tap. Beware of steps down from bed in the dark!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The service and breakfast was excellent. The food and confiture were all home made and delicious. Thank you to the owners for your generous hospitality.
Cons: If you want to eat in the evening you should contact the hotel prior to arrival. There was nowhere on booking.com telling us this that we can find.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and luxurious bathroom
Cons: Too small room four four
9.3 Excellent
Pros: You do not need to worry about anything, you park at the hotel front, there are very good restaurants just outside the door, the bar around the corner opens until 1am with amazing Latin music, the beach is within a minute walk, literally oposite the hotel, it was extremely quiet in my room, so I had a very good night sleep. I really loved my stay here.
Cons: Cleaners start their cleaning too early, I could have slept a little more, but it was a bit noise around 9am already. Not that I was too bothered, but on holidays I can sleep around 10 hrs per night

8.3 Excellent
Cons: The heat
6.8 Good
Pros: Hotel in the middle of town close to all amenities , facilities in line with expectations for a two star Hotel , nice roof terrace to sit out on in the evening which was really necessary as we arrived during the canicule (French Heat wave) with temperatures in excess of 36 degrees. Friendly accommodating staff
Cons: Not the hotels fault but with no air conditioning in the small family rooms during a heat wave in the South of France it was nearly impossible to sleep due to the heat , parents double bed was comfortable but both children complained that their bunk beds were not very comfortable to sleep on ; The fan provided in the room did not work very well and the control appeared to be broken (was constantly stuck on one setting) and did not provide much relief from the heat. Price for two nights seemed expensive in comparison to the two star quality and size of room but pricing is in line with the norm in the South for the time of year.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: In centre of town. Good bedroom and shower room. Pleasant terrace for breakfast or just sitting in the sun. Owner very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Nothing not to like.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The rooms are clean, the toilet and the shower, there is plenty of hot water, the terrace is beautiful.
Cons: Sometimes it can be a bit noisy from the traffic in the street. The nearby parking lot is usually full.
7.5 Good
Pros: Amazing hospitality & delicious french breakfast on beautiful sun terrace. We arrived late at night on our trespassing from Spain to Germany and Marc - the owner of the hotel - was still extraordinarily friendly and welcoming. He helped us with a parking spot for our car and even moved his own one! Outstanding!
Cons: Pretty basic over all, could take some renovation. No air conditioning. But the hospitality and the breakfast made up for it. Would definitely stay here again to spend a night on a roadtrip.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Marc was a lovely host he made us very welcome. The hotel is lovely quiet and cosy. The patio was beautiful in the sunshine.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely accommodation decorated with local charm as advertised. The property has a wonderful terrace and Marc is a very welcoming and kind host. I loved the blade ceiling fan with light in our room. Location is certainly one of property's top features as we arrived by the airport shuttle within 10 mins. They run always with every arrival and departure flight and costs only 1.60 euros each way per person. At the property and within 2 mins walk you can reach the local shops, restaurants, bakeries, bank, pharmacy, Bus stops and train stations are just around the corner to visit other areas as Beziers, Agdes, Marselian or even beyond to Montpellier which has a great old town. Across the road you can rent bikes at very good prices and reach the beach within 10 minutes of easy flat surface ride or just take the bus to go down to the beach although they don't run often. Don't miss out to taste the local sea food delicacies at Les Délices de Thau only 5 mins walk away from hotel. Their food is the world and their local dry muscat wine (that's right, dry muscat) comes second to none!
Cons: We booked only 4 nights.
