Pros: Modern decor in the rooms that were well kept and clean.
Cons: Better coffee would've been nice, but overall no problems.
Pros: It was quiet and the staff was great.
Cons: Compared to other hotels we used on our trip our room was much smaller and overly priced. We had a suite for less in Fargo for two nights just prior to our Clear Lake stay with a hot breakfast included.

Pros: This hotel was the perfect place to get away for the weekend. Check in was a breeze, no problem at all with our reservation. The ladies behind the counter were very nice. The pool and hot tub were perfect. The room was clean, comfortable, & quiet.
Pros: The pool was the perfect temperature and the staff was helpful and friendly.
Cons: It wasn't the best hotel I have ever stayed at but definitely in line with what I was expecting.

Pros: The room was clean and staff was mostly helpful.
Cons: I had a non smoking room (room 322)but at about 10:00 pm I could clearly smell cigarette smoke. Not sure if it was in the hall or coming through the vents but it was quite disturbing. It took awhile to dissipate.
Pros: Hotel employee was very helpful
Pros: The hotel at a nice morning breakfast. it also had an indoor hot tub and swimming pool.
Cons: The swimming pool was unheated and to cold to use.
Pros: Close to everything
Cons: waited way to long to check in
Pros: Close to everything
Cons: Hair dryer broke.
Pros: The pool was heated. We were in a room close to the pool.I liked a clock in the pool room to keep time with my excerising. The shower head was really good.Breakfast was good.Sidewalk outside around the hotel and we could walk.
Cons: The beds could have been a little softer.
Pros: The staff was really nice and helpful. At breakfast, there were several things that were empty that I had to ask the lady behind the desk to fill. She was very apologetic. The front desk was busy but she kept her smile and pleasant attitude.
Cons: The breakfast area/room was very small. There were 4 tables and it was crowded. People had to move around to get the breakfast items on the 2 small counters in the corner. Not a good set up if you have 5 people trying to get breakfast.
Pros: Good breakfast, hotel room was roomy and kept clean by staff daily
Cons: The hotel looked dirty and run down when I entered the lobby. It doesn't look like the picture on the site. When I asked if I could check in one hour early I was told there was a $25 fee. I've stayed at other hotels of this chain and never had that happen
It's better than the last hotel I stayed at in Mason City; at least they didn't have to offer me a space heater!! The hotel is dated and in need of upgrading. Public spaces leave much to be desired, and the pool is a complete joke!
Pros: The heater worked very well! Cheap price, not bad for the price, just not good either.
Cons: The pool area leaves much to be desired! There's no 'official' public restroom at check in-you're led to a gross little closet off the laundry room, just a bit creepy! Breakfast was mediocre, and there wasn't sufficient parking.
The hotel and staff were both GREAT!
Pros: Everything was clean and the staff was very friendly.
This hotel needs a major updates. There was black mold in my bathroom . Room was not clean. Found clothing and food from prior use. There is no quality in this hotel
Pros: The best part about the hotel was the shower. Great water pressure. The breakfast was great.
Cons: The room was not clean. Under the bed we found children socks that were for a girl; my children are boys. We also found a rotten bannana under the bed and other toys that i did not bring for my children
Cons: Everything was DISGUSTING AND THE PEOPLE WERE VERY RUDE. It was late at night and all other hotels were full. I WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN AND I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS HORRID PLACE WHATSOEVER

A great choice for a stay in Clear Lake, Rumorz Neighborhood Hideaway is just 4.1 mi (6.6 km) from the airport. You'll have free perks like WiFi and self parking. Rooms feature kitchenettes and flat-screen TVs.
Pros: It was cheap. The prints in the room were actually pleasing, and the room was PINK. Which was kind of pleasant. The shower was large enough for us to shower together, which was also nice.
Cons: Everything else. Luckily, we only really needed the room for a few hours and didn't have to sleep there. It was tiny. And not clean, and there is no way in hell that was a queen sized bed.
Pros: Quiet & reasonably priced.
Cons: Road construction on exits off frontage road.
Pros: The room was clean and the staff was friendly. It met my needs perfectly. I would stay there again.
Cons: Rooms are completely filthy. When I arrived with a confirmed reservation, management told me my reservation through Kayak was invalid and they did not have to honor it and the only valid way to reserve is through calling the hotel. The rooms were frightening!
Cons: The maid just walked into the room without knocking while we were still in bed. TACKY AND SUPER UNPROFESSIONAL Then, when I went to talk to the desk about it, there was no one at the desk, so I had to wait 5 minutes or so, they were dressed like they were out to run Saturday errands, so I want sure they even worked there, and they didn't offer any compensation for that terrible experience.
Pros: Staff were friendly and room was clean and spacious and comfortable. Showers were warm and the heater worked well.
Cons: Seemed a little bit expensive for just a queen bed, but the room I got was bigger than expected. I wish the breakfast had more protein (I had a sugar crash about two hours after eating breakfast, which consisted of milk and cereal and waffles). They allow pets in the rooms, and one of the guests had a few dogs that were a bit noisy.
