10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property was fantastic! It as modern and comfortable while still being warm and inviting. Our hosts were very friendly and accommodating. They were helpful and patient with our poor and limited French. They were happy to speak to us in both German and English and gave us a great tour upon our arrival. The kids really enjoyed seeing the farm animals and playing outside. The location is great with close proximity to the city center and fairly good dining. We will stay here again and will recommend it to friends.
Cons: The restaurants within walking distance were just ok. However, it just wasn’t that far of a drive to better dining.

Pros: Fantastic little guest house with the most accommodating host. My children loved the way the room was set up and our little dog was so happy in the garden. Breakfast was just beautiful and nothing was too much effort for our hosts. Only regret is that we arrived too late to enjoy their company and beautiful house and gardens.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The stay is in a small art galery. There is no TV but a classic record player instread, what a luxery! The location is in the heart of the old city with plenty points of interest and many good restaurants. Good atmosphere!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: the spirit of the place and the city!!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The contact with the owner was always uncomplicated and friendly. The room was very exciting, there are a lot of painted pictures inside. You really sleep inside a gallery. If we will ever stay in Metz again, we will book this accomodation again. You will not find such an amazing stay elsewhere. We love it!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very stylish. Right in the historic heart of the city. Old building charm with perfect comfort and facilities. On a quiet lane way.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The room was peculiar and amazing, it represents a timeless sleeping room shaped as an art gallery.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very nice interior as you sleep inside an art gallery! Art is everywhere around you and it is really nice. The room is not too large but spacious enough for 2 adults without a problem. The host is great and gives a lot of good hints for discovering the city. The location of the apartment is great.
Cons: As the apartment is on the ground floor of the house and the apartment's door is next to the house entry door it can be that other people will wake you by slamming the house entry door what can be very loud. Consider it if you have a light sleep and like to sleep longer.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect and the room nice, but very small.
Cons: A very small room
Overview Reviews

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Nice and modern looking apartment, great location, very comfy beds
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable apartment: plenty of space, very well equipped and nicely decorated. Excellent location in the city centre.
Cons: The apartment had only one bathroom, which between five people was a bit inconvenient at times.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The property was clean and well equipped, a good base for exploring Metz.
Cons: We could not find anything to hang up washed clothing to dry. It was not a problem but for a longer stay we would have needed it. The parking was more expensive than advertised, it was however convenient and secure.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We booked this apartment very last minute (a few hours before we arrived) as we were totally let down by a hotel in Luxembourg so we decided to change our driving route to come to Metz. The apartment was really lovely, modern and clean and the location was amazing. Couldn't fault anything to be honest and any issues were nothing to do with the property at all, more personal preferences or issues. Having a baby and a pram was slightly awkward with there being no lift but we managed fine, we also had a slight issue with parking but it's because we had a roof box on our car which made the underground car parks impossible to use but we eventually found an outdoor car park after a few google searches. The area is so beautiful and so much more lively and busy than I expected. Would definitely stay again and I thought it was great value for the size of the apartment.
Cons: Nothing
7.5 Good

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent and beautiful studio, super comfy beds and clean space. Communication with the host was very good and the supply of breakfast was a nice touch, location was brilliant too as we walked to the main attractions. highly recommended!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved everything about this great little apartment. Although small and compact, it had everything we needed for our four night stay. We loved to b able to cook sometimes. Close to the train station and only a few minutes walk from the historic centre of town. Very quiet and clean. Francis was a great host, ensuring good communication beforehand, and checking with us during our stay to ensure all was good. Would highly recommend it for a single person or a couple.
Cons: Nothing.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Free breakfast and milk
Cons: Obnoxiously long password for wifi. Small space filled with clutter. Linen was old and worn. Needs replacing.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: kitchen had many appliances, cereal, bread, butter, jam, juice included. Many information, maps, games, movies (in french) available! tv and wifi working very good!
Cons: The check in was through sms in order to meet, which was not an issue for me because I had a french sim card, but it's not the best way (owner lives a few blocks and needs to meet you in order to give you the key)
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Close to station. Everything was quite new in the apartment. Francis was a delightful host who couldn't do enough for us.
Cons: The confirmation email was very misleading as it listed the apartment's facilities as having a washing machine, dryer, dishwasher etc etc. We booked it because of these facilities which were not there. The shower recess was tiny.
5.0 Okay
Cons: The property wasn't bad at all. However extra charges were more when double of initial price advertised. I can't get why booking allows someone advertise property for €59 and then charge €122 + 2(tourist tax) instead. You can't cancel this booking as only €59 advertised. However it is €122 as reminder apparently service charges. Efforts to address this issue with booking customer services were unsuccessful as they not responsible for service charges. Which could be crazy and some places like this could take advantage in the low season. For this reason I decided to stop using booking services until this is resolved.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great position near the railway station and easy to walk to the town, Cathedral and river etc. Had everything you would need for a short stay. On 1st floor but there is a lift. Quite nice views of the charming railway station.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location
Cons: Nil
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I am not really keen on keys to be extracted from a box and not meeting anyone, but it was rather convenient, and Francis is "aux petits soins"

Hôtel La Citadelle Metz - Mgallery - Metz - Building
8
8.4 Excellent (2,299 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Opened in 2005, Hotel de la Citadelle, near the historic and cultural heart of Metz, is worthy of top recognition for high-end hotels. A large military building, built in 1559 to preserve Metz square, conquered by King Henry II. This simple and pure building has 68 rooms: 2 suites, 4 meeting rooms, 1 lounge bar, 1 gourmet Michelin starred restaurant "le Magasin aux vivres", directed by Christophe Fosse.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Location was good, central for cathedral and main area.
Cons: We found the hotel overpriced for what it was. Average decor, average fittings, nowhere near a 4 star in our experience and twice the price it should have been. No towels or tea provided for our 11yr old (i.e 3 people in room). Extra for parking and breakfast and had I not challenged an extra 20E per night for our dog who was small and didn’t impact anything. Reception staff unfriendly and unhelpful on arrival, thankfully much more polite and helpful on checkout. Would not recommend compared to others available.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful checking in. Several staff spoke English very well. (Something we needed since we didn't speak much French and the trip had been spontaneous so no time to brush up on it.) The location was SUPERB for easily walking to shopping, eating, local venues, and historic tourist attractions. Peaceful and in the middle of things all at the same time.
Cons: Hard to find where to park and then parking was said to be included but wasn't. The shower didn't function as a stand up shower. It was more a sit in tub and spray off.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Convenient stop over between Rotterdam and Les Houches. Excellent quisine & réputation of the Chef.
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The position of the hotel and the a la table restaurant
Cons: The room could be more updated
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The tea in the bedrooms was very bad. Give a choice ok exotic( you did) and proper breakfast tea
Cons: See above
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was excellent! The water left in the room daily and the treats and weather forecast in the evening was nice. Pierre at the front desk was very helpful and knowledgeable. He answered our questions daily as he always seemed to be working.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful, location in Metz It’s super, breakfast was one of the best I’ve experienced
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The building is 500 yrs old and was built as part of a military fort. The rehab is very new and has five star furnishings, finishes, accommodations and services. The staff was ultra friendly and could not have been more helpful. Short stroll to town (5 min) and Metz is very cool.
Cons: Nothing to complain about. And I'm normally a grumpy old man about things

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location and friendly staff. Rooms very nice and bathroom spacious and modern
5.0 Okay
Pros: In a good location
Cons: 1) Information written on booking.com is not accurate and reflecting the real situation of the hotel 2) towels are ripping and old 3) room booked with air-con but allocated one without air-con, thus needed to open window and too noisy outside
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is amazing, right across from a stunning Cathedral. Lots of restaurants close by to choose from for dinner. Old style look but with some modern comforts. The staff were warm and friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was good simple food with a nice variety. Really enjoyed the atmosphere. The parking is a little tricky but the hotel goes out of their way to make it easy.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Centralized to the Catholic and Protestant cathedrals, the Theater, the Market, shopping, restaurants and many other things to do. Front of hotel is overlooking the Catholic Cathedral and the rear overlooking the rear street with views of other Cathedrals and the river in the distance. Breakfast is worth eating there; you could save some money by eating at the McDonalds but the food will not be as good as what the hotel restaurant offers in the morning.
Cons: Inner rooms get views of the small garden lounge area. I did not mind the room we got which was facing the rear street and was tucked in and quiet. Best views are facing the front towards Cathedral. I didn’t mind the antique look of the place, but my wife immediately said she would rather stay in a more modern place. After the first night, she had a change of heart and was pleased with room and hotel.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Charming hotel in a great city. Location couldn't be better. We stayed in the annex, the rooms there have A/C! Great value for money. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Lots of restaurants and bars at your door step.
5.4 Okay
Pros: The bathroom was tastefully appointed and with an attractive polished wooden floor.
Cons: I had stayed here previously and loved the elegance and spaciousness of the rooms. Therefore it was a great disappointment to be given a far inferior room in a sort of annexe which bore no comparison to the pictures on the brochure or website. It was pokey, dark and airless, not to mention a trick up a rickety marrow staircase. I feel the drop in quality should have been reflected in the price and made clearer, as in other hotels, that there were vastly different types of rooms on offer.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: A very nice hotel for its age Staff very helpful A great breakfast And fantastic location
Cons: No lift up to room
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect lication, wonderful old building, very good service and breakfast excellent. Good parking arrangements with local car park.
Cons: Nothing- all excellent. No lift but fair enough in such an iconic building.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Courtesy and location
Cons: Bed (too small) and lack of cabinets and vardrobe
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very central, very nice staff. Lovely building. Our room had huge windows directly overlooking the Cathedral. Cafes and shops all around.
Cons: Bit noisy at night on our side of the hotel. Not sure if it would be quieter away from the road. But it was lovely to have a view of the Cathedral, so.... ‘swings and roundabouts’ :)

7.9 Good
Pros: Clean and tidy
Cons: A bit off the beaten track Breakfast did not have much choice
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very good dinner. Some breakfast items ran out early. Unable to use pool as it was being cleaned which was a disappointment as this is why we booked it
7.5 Good
Pros: Good location
Cons: Seems rather expensive.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The bed was very comfy, the room was very spacious and I enjoyed that the toilet was separate from the shower room. And before you step in the room a big hallway was great. The reception staff were very professional, approachable and definitely friendly.
Cons: Breakfast could have been better and the staff there could have been a little bit more engaging. The warm section was very limited with only eggs and bacon. Tomatoes and mushrooms were missing eventhough it said it would be there. The lounge chair in the room needed an uplift as did the shower head.
6.7 Good
Cons: Pool was cold
8.8 Excellent
Cons: Attitude of staff at Reception
5.8 Okay
Pros: It was clean
Cons: The restaurant
7.5 Good
Pros: Rooms very clean Good food. Good location
Cons: I paid in advance for the room, then was charged a further £15.70, but not sure why. Breakfast for the 2 of us was a complete rip of, 37 euro for coffee, a bit of bread and some small pastries! We are meant to be staying again Sunday on way home, but not sure I want to now! Bed was rather hard too. But

4.0 Okay
Pros: The location at the historical center
Cons: Cleanliness of the room, the bed covers were stained and not clean. The bath needed improvement as well the closet was clearly an issue. Also they advertise parking. But do not have it. I had to pay my own parking about 700 mtrs from the hotel.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was located in city centre with all point of interests in walking distance. The hotel service was absolutely polite and let us check in earlier - they also agreed to take care of the luggage after check out for us to have another full day in Metz.

Pros: Fantactic, helpful staff
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location, comfortable and clean room with a great shower. Friendly and helpful staff
Cons: Nil
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Central location, functional room and lovely staff.
Cons: Hotel has a deal with a car park - bit of a drive away - and not high enough for cars with roof box on it.
7.1 Good
Pros: Building and location in Metz was perfect and very quaint. All in all a fun hotel.
Cons: Parking was far away. The room lacked air conditioning and on a 34 degree day it was uncomfortable most of the night. The bathroom was a bit dated. Great in cooler weather. Not summer.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: As the name suggests, this hotel is very central to all the attractions in the city. On this score, it can't be beaten. The price was very reasonable which compensated for the negatives.
Cons: Reception is on first floor, up steep stairs. Rooms are on second and third floors, up spiral stairs. The rooms and decor are old and tired, although some will pass this off as "character". The window opened onto a street with at least three noisy restaurants. Double glazed windows shut out the noise, but we roasted in Europe's heatwave without air conditioning. There is no storage for bikes. We paid €5/night/bike in nearby underground parking, which was locked at night, but anyone could walk away with the bikes in daytime, as the garage remained open and there was no staff.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely staff, good breakfast, cute rooms.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Exceptionally helpful staff.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and helpful welcome with good recommendation for dining and places to visit Hotel is in a great location; easy walking distance to cathedral, shops and restaurants.
Cons: There was some street noise that disturbed some members of our party - the down side of being in such a central location

Cons: Dull, no bar, room was dingy and dusty
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice room with good sound insulation.
Cons: Very surprised it didn't have a bar. It had hot drinks available in the lobby thing but no cups and no milk available The room could have done with a bit more lighting
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good location not far from the center, parking nearby at reduced price. Delicious breakfast.
Cons: The sofa-bed for the children was squeaky and not very comfortable.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Nice location, friendly staff.
Cons: The breakfast. The kitchen was not well organized. They forgot to buy eggs or the pancake mix and there were not anough people to clean the tables and to bring more food so breakfast was to long. And with no eggs or pancakes....
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast, big and comfortable double bed.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast. Good WiFi. Gentle staff. Child-friendly. Centrally located. Close to the central station. City center within walking distance.
Cons: Nothing in particular. Maybe the building/interior a little bit too old.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice hotel. Fantastic stuff. The guy at the reception, Roman, helped us with all we asked about and even more. We also got a very good advice for the dinner restaurant with a discount. Big rooms.
Cons: The breakfast could be organized much better. Lots of things were missing at 9, no cooked eggs, few pancakes left. It took another 15-20 minutes to get new in.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfy beds, nice shower, sufficient, simple breakfast. Location within walking distance of lots of sites. Friendly staff who spoke English.
Cons: Parking inconvenient, but cheap and available.

Overview Reviews
With a stay at this residence in Metz (Les Îles), you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Metz Cathedral and Centre Pompidou-Metz. Featured amenities include laundry facilities and an elevator (lift). Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
6.7 Good
Pros: Location of Hotel (central to everything), Price is very reasonable.
Cons: You get what you pay for. There is a reason why this Hotel also rents to students. This is what it feels like, like a student home. Fairly modern, but cheap, also regarding comfort (i.e. bed+ air conditioning). You can not expect more for this amount of money. Problem was to find it, a couple bigger signs (outside, or road-marks) would be nice. The parking is a nightmare. The architect of the parking garage should be slapped.
7.9 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: No air condition. Difficult to sleep on a hot night
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location is quiet and close to the old city centre. The balcony was a lovely space to look out over the rooftops to the Cathedral. A big bathroom and good shower. Parking 2 mins walk away in place St Vincent is free after 7pm.
Cons: A little hard to find when approaching by car - it’s off a street that looks like it’s only for buses and is set back from the road - Look for a big yellow building set back off the road down a pedestrianised walk way, directly opposite the Pl St Vincent car park) Room was a little smaller than anticipated and a little basic.
7.0 Good
Pros: very quite place. In suitable walking distance from the city center. The room is new and the beds are pretty good, although narrow.
Cons: the refrigerator was not very clean
5.8 Okay
Pros: Location is good, at walking distance from the old center, with the possibility to park nearby.
Cons: The smell in our apartment was horrific. Same for the hallways of the building. This building looks like temporary student housing that is rented out to tourists in summer - it would help if it's advertised as such. Overall not booking.com quality.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Metz was a one-night stopover on a road trip to Germany. The town is so beautiful and has a great buzz about it, we wished it could have been longer. The hotel is in a brilliant location only a few minutes walk to the centre and almost next door to several historic buildings. The hotel is nothing fancy and the furnishings are a bit basic, but the room was large, clean and comfortable. We were on a high floor so had a great view from the balcony. Would definitely stay here again.
Cons: We struggled to make ourselves understood when we checked in, but it didn’t cause too much of a problem.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The proximity to the city centre
Cons: The room was quite small, compared to the photos. We would prefer a room with balcony.
6.3 Good
Cons: Room dirty. Really disappointed about parking: we sent several messages a month before for an underground parking. They told us it couldn't be booked in advance, but no problem. 3 hours before our arrival they told us we couldn't have the parking because we were arriving after 8pm, which it wasn't told us before. We ended up looking for another parking 500 meters away
7.1 Good
Cons: Despite advertising there was WiFi in the room there was none at all in the two days we were there. We were told it was down but that is how it stayed - down. For anyone relying on WiFi they would be in trouble. We also found the underground car park very difficult to negotiate as the corners were very tight and we had a real difficulty finding our way out as there were was very little signage.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: I asked about parking before we came and got good instructions as to how to reach the hotel and the parking. Otherwise it might have been difficult to find. It is very near the picturesque old part of Metz with the beautiful cathedral and some lovely restaurants. Easy to walk to it.
Cons: We would have liked to be able to leave the car longer than the checkout time of twelve. The car park was empty when we left. We had to find a different car park in Metz. Finding the car parking space in the garage was hard, and the turns were very tight. The breakfast was limited and the woman who put out the food was not very welcoming. She put out minimum amounts - one croissant each, etc, and was busy wrapping it up and putting it away when we arrived at least an hour before it was due to close.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast is very good and location is close to main station.it is very centrally located so it is a bit difficult to find parking place near hotel. But there is a big parkhouse near hotel which cost extra nearly 9 euro perday.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Breakfast
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff is very helpful. They sent me my phone charger after I left it in the hotel. Excellent service. Good parking nearby and close to to the city centre. Walking distance, nice area.
Cons: Overall very good hotel. Some small room for improvement at breakfast. For example espresso machine instead of only filter coffee in thermos. More choice in fresh fruit. For a 3 star hotel ok breakfast but with small changes csn be made excellent.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Nice selection of food for breakfast and very central location close to old town
Cons: No air-conditioning
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Spacious room for 3 people. Good Wifi. Very good breakfast with juices, joghurt, cereals, cold cuts, cheese, croissants, baguette, jam. Good shower in the bathroom. Close to Place de la République.
Cons: we stayed there on a hot summer day. The room was right under the roof and has no air conditioning. It was very hot in the room!. I, personally don't like carpet in a room. Very small bathroom.
7.1 Good
Pros: Pretty much everything else. Nice staff. Clean room. Comfy bed. Great shower. Good breakfast (fresh coffee and pastries). 6 min walk to centre.
Cons: Roof top room. Very hot (though they gave us a fan). Water pipes made noises throughout night. Only 1 night stay so didn't bother to say anything

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very calm and beautiful houseboat
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location on a barge on the canal. Pleasant walk into the interesting city of Metz either along the water or through the Imperial Quarter. Terrific breakfast on the terrace. Recently renovated rooms.
Cons: The room was quite small and very hot in the middle of a heatwave. The barge and its surrounds could benefit from a little TLC. Check in time of 5pm is late and could be inconvenient for some. The property is hard to find without a GPS.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely waking up on the canal and having breakfast by the water. Good location too.
Cons: Nothing, it was all that we wanted.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was quiet and the canal provided the perfect backdrop.

7.9 Good
Pros: Great breakfast
Cons: Very hot at night and difficult to find (use google maps)
6.3 Good
Pros: Breakfast was good. Location is near highways
Cons: There could be clear signs outside that this is hotel, now we walked by without realizing that (and staff not asking even they were out and knew to expect late arrivers. Bed was probably the second worst I've ever sleeped.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The water view from the room and the deck. Nice continental breakfast on deck Walkway to city center along the canal
6.3 Good
Pros: Our room was lovely . Given the state of the outside of the boat it was a very pleasant surprise to find our room spacious, clean and delightfully modern . After a lot of confusion when our breakfast did arrive it was wonderful, the bread and croissants so big , fresh and flaky . The fruit was fresh chopped and plentiful, creamy yoghurts, jams and spreads . I
Cons: We didn’t feel we were given a warm welcome, this was partly because we arrived before the 5pm check in ( I had left a message asking for an earlier check in but this wasn’t received) Communication was a problem, we asked where to go for our breakfast and was told it would be bought to our room . Although we didn’t find this ideal we agreed to a time of 9 o’ clock . By 9.45 we gave up waiting and prepared to leave as we had a 5 hour journey . As we left we noticed people on the terrace eating breakfast. We asked about ours and the man abruptly told us that we were late and he had thought we had slept in and that breakfast is always served on the terrace . When breakfast did arrive it was accompanied by a swarm of wasps who quickly settled on the jams and yoghurts . The location wasn’t ideal a very long walk into the town , parking was only available after 7 pm . The outside area of the boat is very unkept with sitting areas gone to ruin and taped off .

Pros: It was a reasonable sized room. We did ask for two single beds and the sofa bed but got a double bed instead. This actually worked out better in the end. The staff were lovely and very helpful and the breakfast was extensive, fresh and accommodated my fussy teen and 6 year old. Would happily stay there again. Cons: could have spent longer there
5.8 Okay
Cons: Hotel really needs renovation
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good location, own parking, comfortable rooms, all in all, we like this hotel
Cons: Sorry, but the breakfast selection is a little bit poor ... Unfortunately, this characterises not only this hotel, but characterises all French hotels. There are never any kind of vegetables: no tomatoes, no peppers, no onions, no cucumbers, nothing! There is scrambled egg what made from egg powder... What I hate... This is a fake scrambled egg, what is inedible! You can find cold boiled eggs... I could recommend the French hotel managers to look around at some Italian, Spanish or even Polish, Hungarian or Czech hotels and they will see immediately what a good breakfast is... And in exchange for giving us such weak breakfast, at least they do it very expensive... Never included in the room rate:( This is the truth, once again sorry ...
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The entire package
10.0 Excellent

Cons: The bathroom is very small, but everything works well
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff always willing to assist in any way. Easy access to the city center [5 minutes walk to Place Saint-Louis and 10 minutes walk to Metz Cathedral]. Very quiet room / neighborhood. The private underground parking right under the hotel was provided at very reasonable price and was very convenient for us since we were traveling by car [we had make reservation].
Cons: Relatively small room. However, this was not an issue comparing to the benefits, location and price of the hotel.
7.5 Good
Pros: Great location
Cons: On arrival after a long drive. The male receptionist was rather abrupt and impatient with our attempt at speaking french. Bad start to holiday.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Secure underground parking (remember to reserve a place). Room was a tad small but it was fine for an overnight stay, it was clean & comfy. Staff were friendly. Breakfast good. Central location for city centre restaurants.
7.9 Good
Pros: Parking was very convenient. Location was not where the hustle and bustle of the center is but in a nice quiet street.
Cons: I expected it but fair warning that the bathroom is small but functional.

Pros: The location was very good. Memory foam pillows were very comfy. Overall very good value for money.
Cons: Breakfast could have been a bit better, it was missing some veg. Selection was very limited.
7.1 Good
Pros: The location was good and the rooms simple and clean looking, but too small for a wheelchair user like me.
Cons: Breakfast was unspectacular and the juice machines were not stocked the night before. I'm in a wheelchair and the access was tight to the restaurant and the room and lift. The bathroom was too small to manoeuvre in
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Friendly staff. Rooms are compact but clean and comfortable. Perfect for an inexpensive nights stay in an ideal location
Cons: Bathrooms needed a little tlc. But for the price it was more than adequate.
6.7 Good
Pros: Location, breakfast, quiet and the staff were quite helpful
Cons: The size of the room

7.1 Good
Pros: Location was good if a city centre location - albeit parking is not convenient like most city hotels and price was very fair and refelcted the downsides of that stay
Cons: Room was very small with only less than one metre space on 3 sides of the bed. Probably OK for single occupant but not comfotable for a couple
6.3 Good
Pros: It was calm and the bed was very comfy.
Cons: No shower door.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: the breackfast is excellent
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Continental breakfast - self-serve. As a solo traveller I liked that there was a big TV in the breakfast room - allowing me to try and understand the news (in French, obviously), while eating. Location: Perfect. I was travelling by train so the location near the station was ideal. Also check-out was 12 noon. That was great because my train departed at 12.10.
Cons: Whilst my room was bright, nicely decorated and quiet, the entrance, reception area, staircase and corridors could do with some improvements to make the hotel more inviting.
2.9 Mediocre
Cons: We had to change rooms because we found bugs in the bed, I was doubled charged for “rate adjustment”.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean and quiet. Very good breakfast for a reasonable price. Public parking is available nearby.
Cons: Nothing
6.7 Good
Pros: Very nice and helpful staff, good location and parking very close. WiFi worked perfectly and beers available.
Cons: The room is small, the pillows were very uncomfortable and the bed was so light weight that when two people lie on the bed with backs against the wall the bed slides away from the wall! Very annoying. We also tried to get a snack from the hotel, nothing we wanted was available, we were offered a frozen lasagne. We also tried to buy a bottle of red wine, the one we wanted wasn’t available. We got an alternative but it was chilled! Bathroom very small. Would not recommend.
7.1 Good
Pros: Location, room.
Cons: It's an old building.
