Pros:I stayed at the City Express Plus Reforma El Angel for 8 nights from January 15 to 23, 2016, with a group of 8 US adults who came to see Mexico City and immerse ourselves in the Spanish language. None of our group had any problems with the hotel. I liked the location, the friendly staff, the buffet breakfast, the open style of furniture in the rooms and the reasonable price. I booked through Kayak. The hotel is fully staffed around the clock. Whoever posted the very negative review on January 21 on Booking.com must have confused this hotel with another.
Cons:The shower water flow was a bit slow but I expect that was due to conservation requirements. I have no significant complaints.
Pros:Everything was incredible! Food, service, definitely location, price, couldn't ask for more!
Cons:I didn't like that I couldn't stay more days at this great hotel.
Pros:Our room was very clean - the cleaning staff really took the time to do an outstanding job. Service was outstanding, the front desk and wait staff were always attentive and responsive, and very courteous. Overall we felt extremely well taken care of. Free breakfast was convenient, available until late so we were never rushed to make it, and had a decent range of options. Our room looked directly out at the iconic Angel of Independence monument - possibly the best view in Mexico City!
Cons:WiFi had issues with some web sites (webmail from US ISPs) - this seems to be an issue with many places in the area, so probably with the company that provides internet service to the hotel. Some changes to the breakfast choices would have been nice.
