The oceanview was really nice. The room modern decorations were nice as well.
I did not like that the AC was stuck on 74. After walking around hot Miami Beach and you come back to your room to cool off but you can't because you can't change the AC so you end up sweating for about 30-40 minutes. Called reception and they said they would send someone to check it out but nobody ever came. That was the only bad part about our stay.
Absolutely loved the hotel. Room was very nice and spacious to accommodate myself and two other friends. Great happy hour, the pool area was amazing, and a few minutes of walking distance to the beach and shoppoing. The hotel smelled really nice :-)!. I will be back!!
The location it's number one exactly between 17th to 18th street where is all the places to be u don't need a car!!
Room was clean. Staff and manager were very polite and helpful, yet never in the way. There when I needed them. Good location, felt safe at night, near all the fun stuff in South Beach. Can walk in just a few minutes to wide range of restaurants & clubs.
Definitely needs to be renovated. Carpets, paint, doors, furnishings all a bit beat up and dated. Not terrible, but getting there fast. Lobby was VERY dated and color scheme poorly considered. Given its location and the nicer hotels right next door, a full renovation would seem like a very good investment. Pool was closed when I was there. From what I could see they are in no hurry to get it done. Door locks for the rooms seem like 1970's technology, with an actual key made from plastic and with little metal strips at the end. Big and clunky. That's another area to update.
We had a wonderful time. Room was great !
It was beautifull. Had a wonderfull view the bed was nice and the room was very clean. I had a spacious closet and had a restarunt right in the hotel. I also liked how they give u a complimentary alcoholic drink as a welcome gift.:) very relaxing and I recomend this hotel..
The only problem I had was the shower wasnt strong and the hot and cold was difficult to use.
Great location, beachfront as well close to the shops and restaurants. Outdoor swimming pool, lounge chairs and towels were also available at the hotel. Friendly hotel staff and internet for free in the lobby.
Bathroom rather small and needs updating.
Close proximity to the beach. Concierge was helpfull.
Breakfast not included. No coffee and tea making facilities provided in rooms. Tv not working. Room furnishings were very very tired. Room advertised as sea view but only with sore neck.
De staff was very friendly en helpfull. They gave us a room with a view to the pool and the beach. Also a extra bed for our child was no problem and they dit not charge extra money for it. Parking is 25 dollar a day withs is very expensive, but everywere in miami parking is expensive. We stay two days in this hotel.
The airconditioning was very noisy could not find anything to put out.
I like the area location on the beach .
The hotel could use a little updating.
It was close to shopping, food, and the beach. It was clean and the lobby was nicely decorated. It had a nice outside eating area.
The hotel was quite old, our beach front room was on the side overlooking the next door hotel's roof. Over that you could see the ocean, which was quite far away. The balcony was old, and shared with the room next door. The pool was plain (the Double tree hotel next door was nicer and a bigger pool) They had a sandy area with hammocks that was ok, but not near the pool.
Location was great.
The hotel was very rundown. The air conditioner was very loud every time it came on.Smoking floor had people smoking in their rooms. Windows were single pane, so street noise was really loud. Most hotels in the area are rundown, unless it states renovated. I was disappointed. Down the street is a great little cafe that serves great breakfast for a great price.
good location and friendly and helpful people at the door, desk and even the night guard. I didn't have time to use the pool, but it looked tempting to go swim.
The noise from the street (Collins Ave) and the fact a room change was difficult. I was told by other guest at the same hotel they had a quiet room. It is known to be a general issue on Miami Beach. I would suggest double sheet windows on the noisy rooms.
Your staff were great, the location is wonderful too!
Some of the rooms are looking a little 'tired'. Some minor repairs/updates would go a long way.
situation. beach access.
rooms very small. hotel had a general 'run down' feel.
