Two of the most famous are Joe’s Stone Crab and Prime 112. These two restaurants are a short walk from the hotel. You can easily take a walk to the restaurants and grab a drink at one of the many bars on the way back to the hotel. Location is one of the great features of this hotel.

Great breakfast and location
Cons. We had one disappointment with the Residence Inn on South Beach: the Amenity Fee ($22 daily). The provided amenities were not of interest to us and represented no value. More annoying, the card that explained the fee began by describing the fee as a “convenience” to us. While it was definitely not a convenience to us, I understand that it was a profit item for the Residence Inn, and the Marriott Corporation has every right to set its pricing structure as it sees fit. I would have been less annoyed if the Amenity Fee had just been included in the daily room charge and the Marriott Corporation had avoided the charade of presenting it as a “convenience.”
Pros. We were stuck in south Florida for an extra three days due to the shooting at Ft. Lauderdale airport. Residence Inn Miami Beach was able to accommodate us on short notice. The staff, from front desk to housekeeping, was super nice and helpful. The suite was spacious, modern, and well-appointed. The bed was comfortable; the breakfast was decent. The location is great - easy walking distance to shops and restaurants on Lincoln Road. We'll definitely stay there again when we visit Miami Beach!

Cons. Pool was closed (no prior notice about pool being closed). Had a balcony that overlooked a porta potty. Free wireless at hotel; however they don't give you a access code upon checkin. Pillows are terrible, provided a horrible sleeping experience. Room took a couple hours to cool off, so set the thermometer ahead of time.
