Great location, especially with arrival after midnight and my next connection at 7 AM. The clean sheets and available bathroom facilities were greatly appreciated.
Good location if your flight got cancelled but the hotel is more than round at the corners. Food was terrible.
First of all, nothing beats the convenience… would love to see hourly rates/reservations. Also the water pressure was AMAZING! AC worked well and kept me plenty cool. The hotel needs some serious TLC, especially at these prices. TV was old and gross, needs paint, carpet needs cleaning/replacement. The bedding and towels were garbage. As a 6’2” guy a Twin XL would have been nice so my feet don’t ha...

Location was great. No waiting in the humid night for a shuttle pick-up (which last time took a hour) after a coast-to-coast flight. There is a 24 hour Subway in the airport near check-in for food. View was of a block wall about 5 feet away. Hotel is old, but for a pre-night cruise stay it did it's job. Caught a shuttle from the air port to the ship. Price is about $45-50 too high compared to simi...

I stayed from Friday to Monday and housekeeping did not attend to room any at all, no cleaning or anything
Pros (+) The location - perfect for a quick shower or nap before a flight.
Cons (-) The place is just disgusting. Feels like a prison. Hasn't seen an update in an eternity.
Pros (+) Location
Cons (-) Staff
Cons (-) There was no fridge in the room, the beds were sunken in and not comfortable and the tub wouldn’t drain.
Pros (+) The hotel is in the airport, doesn't get better than that if you have a long layover.
Cons (-) They don't have luggage storage.

Opt for a Room on a Higher Floor
Some guests were pleasantly surprised by the penthouse rooms, which offered spacious and comfortable accommodations, making for a pleasant stay.
Consider Alternative Accommodations
Several guests found the rooms to be outdated, with some mentioning issues such as worn carpets, dusty rugs, and old facilities. It may be worth exploring other nearby hotel options if modern amenities are a priority.
Take Advantage of the Convenient Location
The hotel's direct access to the airport terminal is highly convenient for late arrivals or early departures, saving guests the hassle of traveling to and from an off-site hotel.
Be Mindful of Noise Levels
A few guests noted that the hotel rooms were noisy, with thin walls contributing to a less-than-ideal sleeping environment. Consider bringing earplugs or requesting a quieter room location if noise is a concern.
Check for Room Upgrades
While some guests found the standard rooms to be small and outdated, others were satisfied with the spaciousness and comfort of the penthouse rooms. Inquiring about potential room upgrades may lead to a more enjoyable stay.
Explore Nearby Attractions
The hotel's shuttle service provides easy access to various nearby attractions, such as Marlins Park, Wynwood Art District, and the Vizcaya Museum & Gardens, offering guests the opportunity to explore the area during their stay.
Consider Off-Site Dining Options
While the hotel offers on-site dining, some guests found the food to be subpar and overpriced. Exploring dining options at nearby attractions or within the airport may provide more satisfying meals.
Plan for Early Check-In or Late Check-Out
Given the hotel's convenient location within the airport, guests may want to inquire about early check-in or late check-out options to accommodate varying flight schedules and maximize their time at the hotel.
Be Prepared for Basic Amenities
Several guests mentioned that the hotel's facilities and amenities were basic and in need of refurbishment. Setting realistic expectations for the accommodations can help prevent disappointment during the stay.
Consider the Value for the Price
While the hotel's location within the airport is undeniably convenient, some guests felt that the overall quality of the accommodations did not justify the high cost. It may be beneficial to weigh the convenience against the price when considering a stay at the Miami International Airport Hotel.
