Staff were very helpful and the room very comfortable. We could avail of the free pick-up/drop off taxi service on the way back to the train station. Booking.com didn't advise about that option so we didn't know that the Hotel provided that handy service and on our way to it we had to pay for a local taxi. There was no bath tub in our room and the outdoor jacuzzi and indoor spa area didn't seem to be working yet
room - excellent. large, clean, beautiful
Its location accross from bay
The hotel and the room are designed in a very rich sicilian style, probably for many foreigners a little kitch - like in a Mafia movie. And the newest renovations (Jacuzzi outside) are more in a buddhist-wellness-style.
Design by Versace-inspired architect - quite eye popping!
if world wide hotel star ratings were solely determined on `FIT-OUT` then we had the very great pleasure of staying in the world's number one hotel. It must be seen to be believed - absolutely no expense spared.
The design and architecture of the hotel was awesome.
The hotel was newly decorated, I believe. Very clean. The room facilites are great, such as the bathroom and the entertainment system. Picking up service from Milazzo train station is provided upon request, although it is not free-of-charge. There is bascially nothing nearby. It would be better to have your own car to go to either the beach or the Milazzo port, if you do not want to walk long. I wish that the hotel staffs speak better English.
Great hotel! With an exuberant decor but with all the comfort and facilities you need. Our room had a jacuzzi "column" in the shower! I wished I could have stayed longer. The staff could have been more friendly and helpful. Is close enough to the center if you have a car.
Extremely beautiful ambiance and very stylish furniture (photographs don't show that), highly professional treatment of guests, sophisticated breakfast, very close to the city esplanade where you can watch the "passeggiata". There isn't anything we have to complain about.
convenience for the port, the fact they are very environmentally friendly.
A very small and lovely hotel at the harbour, nicely decorated in local style. Perfect location if you next day leave for the aeolian islands.
Quite and relaxing bio hotel accross road from sea transport to Eolian Islands and beside ticket offices and bus stop from Messina/Catania. conventinet location
Staff excelent, location excelent. Clean, friendly and good value.
close to port too hot!! poor a/c
The staff was outstanding. The breakfast was great. The price was reasonable. We used the hotel as a resting point before taking the hydrofoil to the Eolian Islands so the location was perfect, just steps from the port. Would definitely stay there again.
Petit Hotel is truely an ecologig hotel. Everything is based on an ecological concept, even the air in every room is being cleaned. The building has been built with all respect for the envirement. We enyojed a nice supper on the terrace with harbourview. The staff though was nicer the first time we visited the hotel.
The breakfast is great! the rooms are comfortables and good beds. Is not completly silence, at night there are noises from the street (mainly cars)
Fantastic location literally a 2 minute walk from the ferry harbour which is useful if you have an early morning departure. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was great. I thought the room was a bit run down and overpriced for what it was. The hot water took ages to warm up and never actually got warm.
Petit Hotel markets itself as an eco-friendly establishment, and it conforms to this most admirably - though not at the expense of comfort. The best bed and bedding, not to mention excellent breakfast. The young women who run the hotel are efficient, friendly, helpful and humorous. The hotel was great, their dinner recommendation turned out disastrous: Al Gambero Pizzeria close by must be avoided at all cost ... for it'll cost you! mediocre food, and prices are misrepresented on the menu.
Fine hotel with excellent service. Great location for trips to the Aeolian Islands
staff very helpfull, very clean, breakfast good. would recommend to friends.price very good. no complaints
The reception was very warm, always ready to help with our car in the parking
Convenient for ferries to Stromboli and other islands and very clean, comfortable and affordable
Very modern, comfortable, well presented, handy to everything and excelled at providing for a gluten free person, (especially provided). very helpful young lady on the counter.
i definately recomend this hotel!
The hotel is very well situated in the center of the city. the parking tickets are cheap and sold in the bar next to the hotel. Staff is really very nice
It is very handy for trips to the Aeolian Islands. The hotel staff were extremely helpful in providing information about travel agents; and also in helping us try to find a pair of spectacles lost at a restaurant in Milazzo.
The hotel is excellently placed for forward travelling onto the islands as it is very close to the port. It is also near to the shops, restaurants etc. A nice, comfortable hotel with a good breakfast.
The hotel is new and modern design. Very clean, very good breakfast lovely helpful staff. Someone sleeping in the lounge made it impossible to use internet. Looked unprofessional for such a hotel to allow this to happen. Not sure I would recommend hotel due to this which is a shame because it is a very good hotel.
The staff and their suport to our demands. Con´t have garage.
The staff was very helpful in helping to arrange our trip to the islands and in finding a restaurant. The room was very comfortable, and the bath well appointed. The room was a bit loud, which is to be expected at such a central location on a Saturday night. The air conditioning helps to cancel out the noise.
It's extremely comfortable. Very high standard accommodation.
We found the room very clean, the staff proof efficient and wanted to help us for every question
Location and the staff
The hotel itself no
Proximity to sea front
Very clean and spacious rooms with cooking facility. I would have preferred private parking facility for car.
The rooms are big and comfortable. We are a family with 2 kids, so we got a small apartment with a bedroom for the parents and a living room with a sofa for the kids + a small kitchen. Can easily accommodate 3 kids. The location is close to the port where you take the ferries to the islands. The person at the front desk was totally confused with our reservation, made us wait for an hour until sorted it all out. English is not spoken well .
Great room, rather 4* than 3*. Including free internet access Breakfast was a bit poor, only toast, no bread.
very nice decor of the rooms, friendly staff
Location and cleanliness Not all staff were very helpful. There is no wifi or internet access at this hotel.
Cool design of the hotel. The staff was nice enough. The beach(rocky) is a stone throw away. Only italian style breakfast - everything is sweet!
The location at the beach, and the interesting individual designs of rooms and of the public spaces. Staff all very pleasant.
the friendly staff, clean room, great breakfast! what i didnt realize was how far from shopping, banking, the port, the hotel was and i spent 40 euro on cabs in 24 hours. Also no internet connection with my computer because i had windows vista? I didnt understand this, as i have a blog while travelling one of the biggest reasons i chose this hotel was for the internet. So alot of what i wanted wasnt easy to achieve. My fault for picking a remote area... if you have a car this is a nice nice place to stay!!!!!!!
The Esperia is a small, friendly hotel with an amazing beach-side location. The staff were lovely, breakfast was basic but good and the rooms were clean and modern. Including Esperia beach chairs and umbrellas on the beach is a lovely extra touch and something we really appreciated! On clear days the views to Etna and the Aeolian Islands were amazing. We liked basing ourselves in Milazzo, but this location may not suit everyone as it's a bit out of the way of the main Siciliy sights. Also, the Esperia charged a nightly rate which was a little expensive for a full week - a reduced rate for a full week booking would have been appreciated.
Spotlessly clean, Brand new hotel, Friendly and efficient staff, Comfy beds and pillows, Excellent breakfast (includinding Bacon and Eggs), Free wired Internet in the rooms. Views No Private parking, though plenty of public parking nearby. No swimming Pool
Every single detail was considered, the one who has thought about all these has a good taste too! Only a smallest inconvenience, propobably the filter of the air conditioning should be replaced, hence the smell was not nice while running.
Everithing - nice room, friendly stuff, good location...
The room design, comfort and view were all excellent as was the access to a clean, but pebble beach and the use of sunloungers and umbrellas. We enjoyed breakfast in the shady and stylish garden and the large balcony. There was ample parking across the road from the hotel. We would have liked to have been able to get a sandwich or light lunch in the hotel.
Very clean, tidy rooms
Nice small family run hotel, art deco style, clean, attentive staff. We stayed with 2 adults and 2 childeren. We had dependance of hotel with no view to sea, but the view to mountain side was actually nice and more quiet. Nicely located to ferries. Only to cross a road to get to beach (no fine sand). Recommendation for others.
