this is a great Villa with beautiful rooms and excellent staff
Staff was very helpful and spoke English. The hotel and grounds are very beatiful. I am a frequent traveler and I often there is at least one thing in a hotel that could be improve. I can't think of a thing I didn't like about this hotel.
beautiful hotel and grounds and lovely staff the location is a 40 minute bus ride from Venice, which was part of the experience but would not suit those who wish to be in the centre
The beautiful gardens and the very friendly and obliging staff.
The hotel was exquisit. The whole experience was wonderful. The location was perfect, staff were willing to please, decor, comfort, cleanliness and amenities exceptional.
in the moment,nothing more
Enjoyed the friendly and helpful staff...clean, clean, clean...wonderful. Location of hotel, easy to drive to ferry from hotel. Some of the buildings while driving to the hotel looked run-down and forgotten about...
Incredibly renovated villa - kept all of the charm of the original building with wonderfully updated amenities. Nothing.
It's a little bit old, but nice n clean. No coffee maker. Otherwise, nice n close to public transportation. (Cross street from train station to Venice.)
Hotel was right in front of the Venezia Mestre rail station that would take you to Venezia S.L. in 8 minutes for a couple of Euros. Most of the staff spoke English, but there were a few bumps in communication. No ice machine (found out that it's a European thing) The Double Bed was actually two singles put together.
location , accessibilty lift not working -seemed to be regular thing .breakfast quality not as expected
The hotel was clean in a great location & I would stay there again. I didn't like the bed because it was with rollers other than that everything was great.
The location is excellent, just opposite the train station in Mestre. All you have to do is cross the street. The room was nice, with a huge bed and a big bathroom. The staff was very kind, always trying to help. The breakfast was good (cereals, milk, tea, coffee, juice, toast, yoghurt, scrambled eggs, ham, yellow cheese, muffins, croissants), but if you stay more than 2 or 3 days you need some diversity. And they have free wireless internet :) The heating worked just great, it was actually very hot in the room. So you won't freeze in Venice, as someone complained here earlier. The view from our room was not that good, towards the back of the hotel but that was only a minor detail. Since we didn't stay all day in the room this didn't matter.
The hotel is across the train station but we were able to sleep with no noise, it was great since we were so tired from daily trips. Breakfast could have been better.
unly 2 elevators for the entire hotel .caused problems during breakfast
convenient location, excellent value for money
Not much to say nice bout this place!! More like a 3* hotel than 4*, unfriendly staff overall, At breakfast had a rude waiter who would not bring me a Cafe latte when i asked for one politely even though he got one for an italian couple nearby!!! He Kept guiding me to the machine Americano stuff,,, If i wanted Americano I would have said so!!!! Not impressed with this place,, awful rooms with mosquitos!! Lobby was so hot and humid,, trying to save Electricity or faulty Aircon. ? Not impressed at all
Large comfortable and clean rooms, good breakfast. Rooms very quiet considering opposite train station. Excelllent location at a resonable price for those wanting to get into Venice. Staff efficient
Updated rooms, comfortable bed, quiet, right across from train station to Venice, huge buffet breakfast, large bathroom, excellent wi-fi, luggage storage, centrally located Nothing
Close to the bus stop to Venice City. No free internet access. EUR5 per hour is too much.
Nice rooms; excellent location outside venice. Public bus to Venice (about 25 mins travel time) frequently stops right in front of hotel. Hotel front desk also sells the tickets. Private parking. Excellent tips for nearby restaurants from hotel staff. The breakfast is the only major downside, for the bread is never very fresh in this hotel.
Friendly staff that spoke english and very helpful in helping us with our enquiries and travel arrangements to Venice. Hotel was close to eveything we needed and provided car parking. The hotel itself was very clean and very well presented. Breakfast was basic but the kitchen staff cooked scramble eggs for us every morning of our stay. We really enjoyed our stay at this Hotel.
The view from the rooftop bar was amazing For the expensive room rate, I was shocked by a couple of things: - there was no free/included wifi - there were mosquitoes in the room. is it terribly hard to install screens? - there were stains on the wall from mosquitoes being squashed/killed - service was just OK One night is not enough time to take advantage of the amenities you're paying for.
- Clean. - Comfort. The Location.
Location The room was not clean at check in. Used amenities. 1 sopa for 2 persona. A lot of mosquitos. Very small shower.
Beautiful views of The city of venice, good free connections to Venice. Was not made to feel welcome, we had two small children, and felt this was a business hotel first and foremost. Although this was my partners and my Honeymoon, we have no childcare. So had to take our children long, there was no effort to make this a memorable stay, even though I had made them aware well in advance.
I was a pleasant trip thanks to the Hilton. I received the best service. And has provided me a beautiful view of Venice. If you go to Venice, I will go back to the Hilton. Thanks for making my travel special. Thank you :-)
Rooftop Restocking the room
not too much. I must say I am totally disappointed with my stay. I selected this particular propert because they had stated that they do have SPA facilities in the hotel. On the arrival we had been told that kids are not allowed in the SPA and, moreover, we need to pay extra for entering the SPA. I was not stated here in the hotel policies and the bookling representative told tha Hilton fills the data on booking for themselves. Hilton guys were saying just the opposite thing.
The building is fantastic and the room was very comfortable Venice is not famous for bellboy service, it's the second time we stay there and carry the luggage to our room.
Staff were very helpful
Location Free shuttle Cleanliness Would stay here again Heard people walking upstairs most of the night Concierge gave me different answers when I asked the same question Long wait for shuttle boat
The location was nice, just opposite the most attractive part of Venice on the mainland, with complimentary shuttle circulating 2 times/hr all day long. This was quite convenient for sightseeing. Lack of technical maintenance. As for a this class of hotel, too many things (especially in the bathroom) were fixed provisionally (e.g. tightened with toilet paper or just hanging loose, not to touch), so that on several occasions I found myself staring with confusion at some loose piece of armor in my hand. Each day we had problems with entering the room and had to report at the reception for re-coding our keycards. Getting to a TV channel of interest on the hotel TV was a challenge on it's on (perhaps this was faulty remote, but seems rather to be something wrong with the hotel TV menu).
The staff are very helpful and friendly The room was right in front of the pier of the hotel and during the night it can be very noisy. They should improve their windows for better soundproofing.
This place had a hostel type atmosphere with the ability for privacy as well. The staff was friendly, the facilities within camp jolly are excellent and the shuttle made getting to and from Venice very easy. This place had many different types of people from all ages and places. It was a greay way to see Venice and make some friends along the way The breakfast at camp jolly was average. You might be better off buying your own somewhere else
the beds were clean, the room was lockable, access to a food store, short distance to Venice pool attendant was not friendly, noisy guests in next trailer, there were no guest reviews available online.
Nice friendly stuff, location is ok. Not everything is working like it should. E.g. sever was blocked.
Helpful staff, youth atmosphere, facilities in the village Very basic room, beds, sheets, blankets...etc. But acceptable for a camping village.
It was cheap, there was a nice bar area to hang out in, and the shuttle to venice was very convenient. The walls are thin, you can hear neighbors easily. Should probably have a bath towel to step on, and the shower head sprayed sideways at certain points. Also, why only being able to pay with the card? Inconvenient to have to go to the office to fill the card and then be able to buy things around the campsite.
I have been there only 2 days. Everything was ok. Cleanliness great. I would return there if I liked Venice;)
friendly and helpfull staff, good pizza and spaghetti carbonara. lovely all round.
The rooms were well kept and had everything I needed the weather that day
Very good and nice kamping. Wery good food excellent kitchen staff. Special thanks for very nice and helpful Monica from reception
The camping was really far from public transportation. Good thing is the shuttle service to Venice. Bungalow as such is really good and has all facilities for sleeping and spending the night comfortably.
We arrived at Jolly in early morning and were able to enter the room emediately, which ws very kind from their staff. Location is a little bit critical especialy if you are coming to Jolly late at night.
Location is quite far from Venedig but still easy to find The room is far too small for 4 persons, it's more suitable for 2 persons. Most of the equipments are not in good conditions anymore.
Location is good for the following reasons: the place is nice and calm but near to important places to visit (Venezia ...)
Visit Venice Service of the reception, not friendly
Friendly staff, location Difficult to find
The town of Mira is delightful and an easy ride to venice if you have a car. It is a delightful small and cozy place. also clean
We love the history of Mira and this hotel put us on the banks of the Brenta River and guided us to the local bus that took us to Venice in 35 minutes. Ate where the locals had pizza - excellent. Excellent parking too.
good accmmodation with a relaxed atmosphere B&B only no restaurant at the hotel.
The hotel was nice, the room big and clean and the receptionist very helpful!
The room was very comfortable. The bathroom was fully equipped and nice. The location is great, since it's 25 min from Venezia and with regular bus service.
the hotel has nothing special, only good think is that that very clean. its far away from the town
Young friendly staff, all the necessities without unwanted frills, comfortable bed, quiet room, beautiful old building with lovely views in a genuinely Italian, non-touristy environment. Good inexpensive family restaurants nearby. Felt completely at home. 30-minute bus ride to Venice and Padua, so plenty to see!
I stayed at the hotel to take a ship for a cruise. The location was very convenient, because it was very easy to go till the ship, at "Statione Maritime" with a taxi, and, as I heard, the cheapest way too. The hotel is very good, with a big room, good food and good service and facilities.
the hotel is near the railways station and it is very easy to go to Venizia center and also to the differents airports. nothing
second visit and the staff was very helpfull plaisant and efficient, the location was perfect opposite the station for train link to venice and bus to airports, the food in the restaurant was good value and quality, room plaisant but front of building too noisy to sleep, room at the back perfect the bathroom was not clean enough mould on shower tray
Location (across the street from the train station, a 4 minute walk to the bus station) Located in Mestre and a 7 minute train ride to Venice Hotel staff were friendly and very accommodating Room was large Included breakfast Weird shower/bathtub design made showering a bit difficult to avoid splashing water on the floor
breakfast was a good choice each morning.
Its was easy access to the town The breakfast
The breakfast was surprising - - many choices. The rooms were simple but well-equipped and very comfortable. Being just across the street from the train station was a huge plus for us.
close to Mestre station, as it was in the station. rooms very clean, a/c perfect. breakfast very nice. no
Well to tell you the truth I liked the friendliness of their staff more than anything else. The housekeeping was poor although the linen and towels provided were very clean.
Smelled nice. Looked clean. Wifi. Reasonable room size. Staff took bags to our room. They put us in our room before it was ready, so we got kicked out for a bit while the staff finished up preparations - this happened after recommended check-in time
Hotel was comfortable and clean. Perfect location for visit to Ferrari Museum.
Super convinient for visiting Venice (2 minutes from Venice Mestre station and 10 minitus from Venice by train).Clean, confortable, and ery attractive service and price quality ratio.
Definitely the location and the cadre, interior opulent surroundings. Professional and courteous concierge service. Comfortable large bed. The magnificent rooftop terrace. The only reservation was our room which although very large with high ceiling yet was quite dated, some worn out furniture, rusty heating grills, insufficient lighting, and mosquitoes. The bathroom was especially not up to par and to the high standard we expected.
Doing nothing for a week
extremely professional staff, wonderful room, amazing location, a simply extraordinary hotel nothing
the location, the history and interior fittings of the room,we did not really use any of the facilities we were not there long enough the receptionist said we had a restricted view, this actually meant no view , you could touch the building opposite, this was very dissapointing
comfort and design of the room, view breakfast is too expensive
The fantastic views across the venetian lagoon - main reason for choosing it. Service was also very high - they really wanted to help, even when the hotel was busy. A true 5* luxury hotel for a special occcasion. Everything was very expensive but it is a 5* hotel in Venice so you can expect nothing else! having a room ovrlooking the lagoon was great but you also get the noise - there is a major waterbus stop just outside (24 hour service) and a continuous flood of tourists passing so you are right in the middle of the bustle of Venice. Choose a room without the views ora hotel in a location away from San Marco if you want peace and quiet.
This is a superb hotel, in a cracking location, litterally a couple of minutes walk from St Mark's Square, and seconds from the airport water bus stop.. The room and public areas were lovely. We saw no evidence of the staff being unhelpful, quite the contrary, they were very efficient, friendly and welcoming. Recommended. Nothing
Location and nice hotel restaurant. We could celebrate the second birthday of our granddaughte with the song of the staff. Expensive
The Terrace Breakfast
The courtesy of the staff, nothing was too much trouble, the room was fabulous and the food superb. The location was just right, the hotel itself was a fantastic building and the decor was out of this world. No
Good position for visiting Venice (good connections by bus and train to Venice centre). Very nice rooms, mixing traditional Italian villa with modern furnishing. Reception closing at 21.00
Room was clean, charming and rustic with genuine old timber beams. Also quiet location, away from road. Location was excellent for exploring Venice, using the ferry only 8km away. Exceeded our expectations.
The rooms are very nicely decorated. You can tell there's been very much interest in designing each room. Easy to get there if you exit the high-way towards Dolo, and you don't try to exit through Mirano, via Miranese. The rooms in which I sat for three nights, for new year's eve, was not heated before we got to the hotel so in the first 2 nights we had to sleep with socks and pullovers on. We did ask for some sort of heater or more blankets the next day, but it probably slipped their minds. If you go there during summer, you may not have this problem.
We stayed here as a base for a trip to Venice. It's a cosy hotel, next to the main road, but not noisy. Bus stop 200m away to get to Venice (30 minutes trip). Very clean room, with classic style. Continental breakfast was good. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Not a fault of the hotel, but the local train station is no longer on the main line, so offers fewer services to Venice.
Beautiful room, high standard of comfort, wifi friendly. easy buses to Venice and Padova. Luxury after visiting Venice. Very helpful staff. it is a shame that this hotel was next to the main road, but it is perfect to get in and out of Venice and also out of the really rough area that is mainland Venice.
The absolute cleanliness of the place! Also, the staff was ready with directions and suggestions to get to Venice as easily, quickly and inexpensively as possible. Parking area, but they say they are working on that. Also, there was not a lot of choices in places to eat within walking distance.
The room was very beautiful and the staff helpful
The staff was very helpfull and friendly. The rooms were clean and loveley. It was calm and quiet. The location is quite a distance from Venice. You will have to take this into consideration, especially consodering expenses for travelling when staying in the hotel.
Very interesting "old fashioned" Hotel. Nice room, bathroom as well. Good prices in minibar. Breakfast was 1 hour later as we expect.
We stayed only one night, everything was ok.
Conceive is well trained & good -Hotel charges for hot water €7/-!! in room for taking my medicine/ Quality of food for Breakfast not of high grade - similar to canteen
Location, location, location. Felt small & discreet. I cannot fault it. (I did not have any meals there, however).
Great location, short walking distance from San Marco and nice shops and restaurants. Very close to the waterbus. Very elegant, clean and breakfast was excellent. I will come back. Everything was great
fine hotel with fair price -
Location was great. Hotel was beautiful.
The hotel was in a good position which enabled us to move around easily. Hotel staff were polite and efficient. Hotel offered 5 star quality and service,
Location of the hotel. Room Front desk staff not freindly though!! Charge eight euro for room service whatever the order is!
Excellent staff help, great position on St Marco, and very near excellent shopping.lso water taxis available right on the doorstep Because of the atreet , the rooms on the canal can be quite noisy.
Everythig was absolutely perfect!!!!!!!
When we were checking-out the money for our staying the hotel took twice from my credit card.
Location ... close to San Marco Square Service was poor. Room facing is poor.
Ease reaching from airport for late arrival or jet lagged traveler. Busy, so early check in, even for gold Honors members, seems rare, at least on weekend. Staff was pleasant. I liked that I could get bus/vaporetto pass there -- and recommend it since you'll need to travel by both to get into Venice. We had facility difficulties...the tea pot blew the lighting! They responded quickly and fixed the lights, ut never provided us with a working tea kettle. Also did not offer any reimbursement or accommodation. For anyone with mobility issues, know that returning from Venice on the bus lets you off across the street, where the only way to cross is a very high overpass with stairs. You can, however, request the hotel to send their van across the street to pick you up. WE found this out because we asked how to get across. Convenient to airport. Having a meal in the restaurant....not bad, but p
Hotel was brand new and well appointed. Staff was struggling with systems.
The staff was the best! At the top of my list for the generosity and helpfulness. The hotel was about a 10 minute walk from Oktoberfest and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast is the same every morning, but very good. If you're bringing the train in, the hotel is just around the corner from it. A little hard to find at first but so accessible to everything!
Hotel is not ideally situated for walking to anything, but a bus stops right in front. Exceptionally clean with modern, beautiful rooms. Staff is very courteous and helpful for travelers in need of directions and help getting around. Highly recommended.
Location, parking, cleanliness, staff Room temperature hard to adjust and works only when actually in the room. I know there are energy conservation laws but it detracts from the comfort
Clean, modern large rooms. English speaking reception staff aided trying to decide what transport to use to get to centre of Venice quickly. Speedy check in/check out. I stayed 2 nights and woke up each morning with what appeared to be several mosquito bites that I did not have the night before. I informed staff of my problem.
The kindness of the staff The road in front was under construction which made access to the hotel a little difficult if you walk to it.
location and proximity to bus service Meals were quite expensive.
The hotel was modern and very clean and the staff were very courteous and helpful. The breakfasts which were included in our stay were the same each day.
Very friendly and helpful staff. they even sell you the bus tickets which is next door. We were very happy withe the location and parking convenience.
Nice hotel, good breakfast Not up to 4-star standard you would expect. 10-15 mins bus ride to outskirts of venice. If you want to get to the heart of venice (st Mark's square) its another 40 minute walk/taxi boat (e6 one way).
for the short stay we had and the bus and train close by it suited us very well all was ok not sure if you had evening meals that was our problem had to use the chinesse close by or mcdonalds
Great location if you are willing to be based in Mestre - which I strongly recommend considering the bus to the island is right outside the hotel (10min bus trip) and its a total rip off staying in venice unless you are ok staying in a 2 star (which will be impossible to find) when for the same price you can stay in a 4 star on the mainland. The bus is 24hr service..
good value, few minutes to station. Clean and tidy.
It was very quiet in the room. I could freely use the fast internet connection. The service was excellent. TV channels in English were rather limited, for example when I wanted to get the weather forcust in Venice where the hotel is situated.
Convenience to Marco Polo airport Venice. Honest price and good value.
location infront of the mestre station. good breakfast. room decoration and facilities.
Location opposite the Train station allowa a one stop journey to vennice at the cost of one euro. A cheaper alternative than staying in a hotel in vennice itself. A small but convenient and clean hotel
The location The aircondition didn't work well,so the room was a bit cold.
This was a lovely stay in venice, the new refurbished room was excellent, The staff were very friendly and helpfull, no breakfast as that part of the hotel was closed at the time of our stay, but was not a problem as it is close to many resturants & cafe's. I would book this hotel if I went to venice again.
great location, helpful staff, beautiful rooms, very comfortable bed
Very nice and fancy place Nothing everything was excellent
The Rooms were excellent, clean, comfortable, excellently furnished and location Th bar area seating was too open, the middle bar had a television on which was not showing much and should idealy be turned off and replaced with music. Lack of complementary water in the room. The instructions to get to the hotel are inaccurate and hotel could be more clearly sign posted
Location Friendly Staff Comfort Cleanliness Did not receive Early Mornight Call on morning of departure We had to awaken staff to pay our Bill - not a bad complaint Lucky we had our own Alarm Clock or flights would have been missed First Class hotel otherwise would re - book and recommend
We checked in early and the hotel provided a complimentary upgrade to a Canal View room, so we experienced the "post card" view of Venice from the room. The bathroom was 5-stars. We enjoyed our stay, but the breakfast could be improved to match the overall quality of the hotel.
The fact that we got what we asked for
Our room was great. It was big, we were on the top floor so we had really high ceilings and lots of windows since we had a corner room. The location was great... close to the Grand Canal and San Marco's Square. The room very new and clean... we loved everything about it. When I see how expensive Venice is in general the hotel rate doesn't seem as unreasonable when you see what you get. When we booked the breakfast room was not finished so breakfast was not included in our rate. They offered us breakfast at the hotel for 15 euros per person. We thought it was a little expensive, but one morning we tried to find breakfast on our own on the streets of Venice and never found anything that good and it was still expensive. Venice is simply an expensive city.
I thought at 370 euro a night breakfast should be included,I noticed American package holiday clients were being given a voucher for breakfast.
The degree of engagement which respected our privacy needs. The location and comfort in heating, need for a quiet room and range of fresh foods at breakfast.
